17th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)a problematic agency... You pay the deposit and then they make you call somewhere else to unlock the deposit. You call there, 3-4 times and when you get close to the end of the call they pretend to lose contact. and so on. Finally, when you manage to finish the conversation, they tell you that they will send you an email for confirmation, an email that no longer comes. The email comes, but from the agency where you rented the house, telling you that you have to call to confirm your identity. And you call DPS again and so on. Shitty agency!

22nd Apr 2026 (17 days ago)Recently sold our house in Aigburth and Venmores did everything they said they would from start to finish. Joe provided excellent advice on our initial valuation and presented the property perfectly. The sales team organised viewings even before we went on the market and always provided feedback promptly and were always available to us. We had a difficult chain but they post sales team were always so supportive and proactive by giving us advice and chasing the sale through. Thanks for all your help, highly recommended!

A special thank you goes to Lucy, who was absolutely outstanding throughout. She was incredibly supportive, responsive, and always on top of everything. Lucy kept me updated at every stage, answered all my questions patiently, and made what could have been a stressful process feel much more manageable. Paige was also very helpful and supportive along the way, and together they made a great team. I truly appreciate all the effort and dedication Lucy put into my case—she went above and beyond. I would highly recommend Whitegates Woolton to anyone looking to buy a home!
1st May 2026 (8 days ago)It’s hard to describe the poor service we have received from Northwood. If you are a tenant and your hot water goes off, please be prepared to wait at least 6 weeks + for this to be fixed. They outsource their maintenance to a company that is incapable of sourcing anything quickly (we have been left over 4 weeks now without a washing machine and are still waiting for this to be resolved). When this has happened in the past with a different letting agent, this was sorted within 2 days. You can try chasing Northwood to get an update but you will be met with people saying they will get back to you the same day and never do. If you are a landlord and are looking to let Northwood manage your property, I would highly suggest you DO NOT use them. If we didn’t love where we live so much, their service is enough to make us move.
