Communication was always prompt, clear and helpful and the whole team was really friendly. They were always understanding, accommodating and willing to help, which I really appreciated. The whole process went very smoothly and I would strongly recommend them!<br><br>**Update after 5 years:** I’ve now been using Oadby Estates for around five years across several properties and continue to be extremely happy with their service.<br><br>They have consistently found me high-quality, reliable tenants who look after the properties and pay their rent on time. Most recently, Ranjit was extremely diligent throughout the letting process and found excellent tenants for my property.<br><br>Ravi and Anup have always looked after me very well, and Anita was also fantastic recently in helping to resolve some maintenance issues.<br><br>Over the years, I’ve found the whole team to be professional, responsive and reliable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Oadby Estates to other landlords.

Communication was excellent and we always felt kept up to date. Although we ultimately decided to take our property off the market for now, we were very happy with the service we received and would have no hesitation recommending them ??????

4th Aug 2026 (20 days ago)Extremely disappointed with the service from this estate agency. From the start, it was clear they only care about pushing through a quick sale rather than actually understanding what I need. They pressured me to fit their timescale with zero consideration for my personal circumstances or capacity to move at that pace.<br><br>There was also no attempt to understand what I’m looking for in my next property. I specifically need a 3-4 bed detached house, and despite telling the agent this, I kept receiving listings for 2 bed semis instead from the ‘agent’ Mandip Nagra. It felt like nobody was actually listening to my requirements.<br><br>On top of that, when I asked to rearrange a photography session for my house, Mandip was genuinely rude to me about it, saying that I was making the estate agent lose money. He spoke to me in a condescending tone stating ‘you do know that this isn’t the first time you’ve tried to rearrange the photography session, right?’ That interaction was the final straw of why I decided to pull out of the sale entirely. If a basic conversation about rearranging a booking turns into rudeness, it doesn’t inspire any confidence in how the rest of the process would be handled.<br><br>Overall, this experience has left me feeling like a number rather than a client. I’d expect basic listening skills and courtesy as standard, and this agency failed on both counts. I wouldn’t recommend them if you want an agent who actually takes your needs into account. I really hope the manager, Steve, will speak to Mandip regarding my complaint about his attitude as this will continue to push customers away if it is not corrected.

17th Jun 2026 (10 weeks ago)The customer service from this letting agency is appalling. I had a viewing booked. My 2 years old son suddenly fell ill and was rushed to hospital. I was in the hospital with no service attempted to call to cancel my viewing no answer. 45 mins before my appointment I also emailed to confirm cancellation as online it advised the place was not available until August. 1. Misleading information over the phone and online about a property. 2. Shocking behaviour from the agent who was raising his voice at me and telling me I’m black listed. Will be posting my reviews all over social media and making sure no one uses this company. They do not even know how to speak with customers. So rude and disrespectful. I will gladly be black listed from this agency. Thank god! Do not use them at all. Never ever would I recommend this company lack of empathy for my situation. Give false information and then have the cheek to be rude. Disgusting behaviour !

David, Emma and the team were very professional, easy to get along well with, and always available to answer any questions we had throughout the whole process. The efficiency with which they liaised with other agents involved as well as conveyancers just made things run so smoothly. I would highly recommend Thorps to friends, family and anybody else who asks!

1st Aug 2026 (23 days ago)Rented through Ace Property for over a year. My experience:<br><br>Maintenance: Repairs were slow, including safety issues — a faulty smoke alarm and roof leak — never resolved during my tenancy.<br><br>Contract: Fridge and washing machine weren’t covered under maintenance — check this before signing, as I was asked to replace them myself when they broke.<br><br>Move-in: Property wasn’t fully cleaned, storage was partly occupied by the landlord’s belongings, and keys were only given out in the evening with no earlier option.<br><br>Move-out: We cleaned thoroughly, but a cleaning deduction was still proposed — disputed with our own photos. Also questioned over a magnum loly left in the fridge and a pair of nearly-new footwear left intentionally for reuse for backyard. As I’d already left the country, a family member had to attend and clean before the deposit was released.<br><br>Deposit: Deductions were proposed for pen marks on a door/wall that weren’t ours — resolved with dated photos from move-in. Deposit was only returned 1 month and 2 days after I vacated, after a lot of back-and-forth.<br><br>Takeaway: Document everything with photos on move-in and move-out, and read the maintenance clauses carefully.

From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.

From the first valuation it was clear [Rahul] knew the local rental market — the rent he suggested was realistic and we achieved it. The listing went up quickly with good photos, viewings were all accompanied so I didn't have to be there, and I got feedback after each one rather than having to chase. Referencing and the tenancy paperwork were handled properly and the whole thing went through smoothly. Communication was the standout: calls and messages answered the same day, including outside normal office hours. My apartment is now let to a tenant I'm happy with. He went the extra mile with giving us advice. From our first viewing, right up to completion Ben was great.
