31st Dec 2025 (6 mo. ago)D R Kivell, in our experience, perform very well. We have been involved with them on two fairly significant transactions, and have also recommended them to friends. On each occasion, the outcome has been significantly more successful than major, well known, prestigious firms, which seemed surprising? Their response times are far quicker than the major firms, too. I'm fairly cynical about estate agents in general, as they tend to make promises and predictions that they don't then actually achieve - but I can honestly say that D R Kivell, each time, have achieved what they promised, and in good time! David Kivell seems very professional - I'm from a legal and commercial property background, and I rather grilled him about whether his predictions were achievable, and he stuck to his guns, and achieved exactly what he'd said. They seem good at valuations, too. Peter Palmer seems more like a wise, experienced farmer, and therefore very friendly and helpful. And he's a good photographer. Geoff Lupton seems to be the very helpful and efficient guy who keeps everything on track. Based on our own experiences, I've formed a very high opinion of them.

5th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)I have used Hindhead to relet a small number of investment properties which for many years I had owned and managed myself. I have used them for more than a year now and everyone there is really pleasant to deal with. The advertising and viewings are done quickly which really helps minimise the time the properties are vacant. Their application process also gives you a really good insight into who will be living in your property and I value the peice of mind I have knowing everything is compliant. Really recommend them.

The service we have received from Hayley and the rest of the ladies at Fox and Sons Saltash has been top tier, constant communication about the process of selling, viewings and helpful hints and tips to market the property has made the whole procedure less stressful and easy for us. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

David and the team were extremely professional and knowledgeable, providing a top quality service throughout the purchasing process. David and the team were a real pleasure to work with, making the process stress free and assisting in anyway they could. They were instrumental in helping us move from offer accepted to completing in just 7 weeks. The property was a fantastic example of a home in a stunning location. We'll certainly be using DJR estate agents again in the future.

26th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)I cannot thank Jon and Natasha enough for the effort that they put into selling my house. From the off, I felt at ease. Jon set everything in motion quickly and I was updated at every step. This continued through the viewing process and once the sale was agreed, it was comforting to know that Natasha was on hand to answer any queries at any point, a reassuring presence. Having had some negative experiences when selling in the past I was initially apprehensive about going through the process. However, this was totally not necessary with Jon and Natasha and I could not have been in better hands.

From my initial consultation with Lisa, whose friendly approach and humorous video introductions to Andrew, who kept me informed at every key stage, as well as all the other staff members who assisted along the way, the service has been exceptional. Thank you all for your professionalism, communication, and support throughout. Webbers also recommended Bright Solicitors, who have been excellent to work with and provided a similarly high standard of service. Unfortunately, the buyers' solicitors were a stark contrast and fell well short of the standard demonstrated by everyone else involved. I look forward to leaving feedback that accurately reflects my experience with them. Thank you again to the entire Launceston team for making what can be a stressful process as smooth and straightforward as possible.
