8th Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)I felt the agent had a lack of knowledge and understanding of our local area, and was too focused on metrics rather than seeing the advantages of our particular property over some of the other properties around us. I felt there was too much pressure being put on us to drop our asking price after only a few weeks in.
18th Oct 2026 (9 days ago)Helping our son buy his first property was a really good experience for all concerned. Our son works long house so we handled the whole process on his behalf. Having not sold or bought a property for many years, it felt a bit daunting launching into the property market again. Jamie at Robert Luff EA made the whole experience so easy for us. He kept us updated and chased solicitors as and when at different pressure points. He was the perfect 'go between' for us and the seller, which enabled us to negotiate some furniture to be left at the property. He was so friendly and spoke in a language we could all understand; none of the 'in house' property speak!! From start to finish Jamie was completely transparent with us and we absolutely trusted we were in safe hands throughout. Thank you so much Jamie and your lovely team.<br><br>The Carter Family

2nd Oct 2026 (25 days ago)We recently used Hancocks to help sell our house and were very impressed. Market conditions were not particularly easy, but the team identified a buyer and worked hard to ensure that timely progress was made.<br>Joel is very professional and efficient and manages the team well, ensuring that everything stays on track. The team is also very professional, friendly and helpful. They handled the viewings well for us, consulted us regularly and kept us well-informed.<br>And a special mention must go to Karen, an experienced estate agent who has recently joined the team. Joel specifically asked her to prioritise progress-chasing for us when unexpected delays at the buyers' solicitors threatened to slow things down and she was absolutely excellent, chasing in an unfailingly courteous but terrier-like way. She was also friendly, efficient and cheerful - a real pleasure to work with.<br>All in all, a very positive experience with a professional and friendly team whom we would not hesitate to recommend.

Being able to contact during a fast paced lettings cycle is so important and after taking my mother in law for a viewing today, Paige was accommodating and had every answer ready which was just superb. A must use for rental and purchases in Sussex

It was not a straight forward sale but he team were attentive, pro-active and great with communicating. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble. I would highly recommend them to any prospective sellers in the area.

7th Oct 2026 (20 days ago)? 1/5<br><br>Extremely disappointing service and easily one of the worst experiences I’ve had dealing with an estate agent.<br><br>I made multiple attempts to call and explain that I was running behind, but nobody answered. When I finally managed to speak to someone, rather than listening to the circumstances or showing any willingness to meet me halfway, I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude.<br><br>I had actively tried to communicate and keep them informed, so to then be spoken to in the manner I was was completely unacceptable.<br><br>As a result, I cancelled my viewing and will take my business elsewhere. I will also be raising a formal complaint about the way the situation was handled.<br><br>Communication and basic courtesy cost nothing. Based on my experience today, I cannot recommend this company.

13th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)They were handing two properties, one was my late stepdad’s and the other was my mum’s At one stage I was told that it’s not their fault no one wants to buy the bungalow.( this was by the manager) They told me to put the bungalow up for £435,000 but 6/7 months later, they wanted me to put it in auction for £300,000 and when I said absolutely not was asked what my issue was. When I raised concerns, the manager told me that he wouldn’t entertain my complaint. They also put both properties on for those over 60 for half ownership. This was never spoken about to me, I only found this out when I put one of the properties on with a different agent. The flat was sold(agreed sale) in October 25 to September 26 and on the day we were meant to sign, the buyers pulled out. I then received an email about 3 weeks after the sale had fallen through, telling me the sale was no longer going ahead but I had known this on the day it fell through, 3 weeks earlier. When I went to pick the keys up, one of the estate agent’s that had showed the Buyers around in June, told me that the buyers were not to keen back in June, but this was never relayed to me. The Estate agent that showed them around in June also broke the garage door, I asked them to fix it but got no reply.

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.

They were never too busy to share thoughts and info on our way forward and never put any pressure on me. Their knowledge of the market was a great help in guiding me to the right level of setting the asking price and what reaction to expect.<br>I would thoroughly recommend Redwood and Sons as the estate agent to use.<br>My thanks go to Simon and Pip for all their hard work.
