31st Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Deal with this estate agent will be nightmare you prepare to be. just bought a house in guildford. given the offer to the seller. the estate agent pushed price and arrange unrealistic exchange and completion date. this results in the seller withdraw the listing. half year later, the seller is ready to sell. the estate agent disclosure both the sellers and buyers personal information to financial brokers and insurance thirdparties for marketing. during the communication with them, it is hugely unreliable and unfriendly. no customer service and professionalism. at the completion date, the sellers cannot give keys to estate agent and the buyers waste time to wait for the keys to be given. completely rubbish. both the sellers and buyers should be avoid..

Made so much smoother by the care shown to us from the agency, of note Antonia. What a gem she is. Thanks again to her and the others, would recommend!

Ben Baker was excellent from first meeting through to eventual Completion - polite, reliable and efficient, as also were Ceri and his support team. Moving after 34 years was always going to be challenging, but Hamptons made the whole process much easier for us. We are glad we chose them.

The whole team were incredibly helpful throughout, from first meeting Nick to view the property to liaising with Karli and Sally during the purchase. Their knowledge and support made the process much easier for us. A fantastic company to deal with and one I would highly recommend.
7th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)After minimal success with our first Agent in selling our house, we chose to move to 'James Gesner Estate agents' due to their knowledge of Wallingford and the surrounding area and specifically one area. Having the team represent our sale, and then to find us a property in the area we were looking to move, I would comment that James and the team were exceptional. The data (marketing report) that they provide against the sales element was informative, the viewings that they conducted, were very professional and the correspondence was always relevant, and always available. James is very knowledgeable where it matters and worked tirelessly in supporting both the house sale and purchase, and I felt that he really went above and beyond in providing a great service and doesn't seem to switch off by providing updates whilst in Mexico. James Gesner Estate Agency will certainly be first on my list for any House sales/Letting.

20th Aug 2026 (4 days ago)I had a really positive experience with Bridges Estate Agents in Caversham and would happily recommend them to anyone looking to sell their property.<br><br>From the initial valuation through to completion, the whole team were professional, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. They clearly know the Caversham market extremely well and gave sensible, realistic advice throughout rather than simply telling us what we wanted to hear.<br><br>The marketing of the property was excellent, with great photos and a well-presented listing, and they were proactive in arranging and managing viewings. Communication was also very good — we were kept updated with feedback, interest from potential buyers and any developments with the sale.<br><br>Once we had accepted an offer, they continued to be heavily involved rather than disappearing after the sale was agreed. They helped keep the chain moving, regularly chased solicitors and other parties where necessary, and kept us informed right through to exchange and completion. This made what can be quite a stressful process feel much more manageable.<br><br>Everyone we dealt with was friendly, responsive and professional, and it genuinely felt like they cared about getting the best outcome for us rather than simply getting the property sold as quickly as possible.<br><br>A great local estate agent and an excellent service from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Bridges Caversham again.

24th Jul 2026 (4 weeks ago)I arranged a valuation to be done and two agents came out, one seemed very pleasant and nice however the other who wasn’t planned to do the viewing was rude obnoxious and showed very little interest in the property and made me feel as if I had wasted their time. This was a shame as the original estate agent had seemed genuinely nice and professional however did very little talking and was overpowered by the other estate agent. Overall compared to the experience from other estate agents on the same level I was extremely disappointed and upset by the whole experience.

He worked across buyer and seller to get the deal done. After the price was agreed, Paul and the Singletons team remained engaged throughout the transaction helping resolve obstacles and keep the sale on track. Result was completion within 6 weeks. I can't recommend Singletons Pangbourne highly enough.

After meeting with several estate agents, it was clear that Luke was the right person to handle our sale. He quickly understood the property, set out a clear strategy, and impressed us with his honesty, flexibility, and ambition.<br><br>Communication was excellent throughout, with Luke always available to answer questions and offer guidance. Tiffany was also a pleasure to work with, helping with viewings and queries, while Mark provided great support whenever Luke was away.<br><br>We accepted an offer within days, and despite a few inevitable hurdles before completion, the process was smooth overall thanks to Luke and the team.
