13th Aug 2026 (11 days ago)The Romans agency was managing the flat I was renting in Maidenhead.<br>In October 2025, I reported damp walls (the roof was leaking) and mould appearing because of the damp. By July 2026, nothing was done to fix the issue, and the agent did nothing to help end the contract due to unhealthy conditions, only repeating that the landlord wouldn't want to lose a tenant. Other, smaller issues - like insufficient water pressure, insufficient amount of hot water to be able to do the dishes and take a shower in the same evening, carpets falling apart and tearing into threads - weren't fixed either.<br>When I gave a notice, and the flat manager came to see the situation with the walls, and acknowledged it was bad, they nonetheless proceeded to try and find a new tenant to live in a wet mouldy flat with crumbling walls.<br>Now it has been over a month since my contract ended, and my emails about the deposit are simply ignored by Romans.<br>Just really hope that karma exists, both for the agent and the landlord.

She was always very informative with new properties that she thought might be right for us and every viewing we attended to Katie was always there waiting to greet us and ready to showcase the property to it’s full potential. Once we found are property Katie was amazing in helping us with every step of the way. She made the whole process very easy with constant support and communication between us chancellors head office and our new landlord. We truly appreciate everything Katie done for us and can only describe her as totally amazing and wonderful in her role as a chancellors letting agent . I do hope all your agents across the country are as wonderful as Katie. Thank you very much Katie you’re a star ??

Highly recommended for a friendly and professional agent, both Richard and Paul seamlessly looked after the sale of our late mother's home.

14th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)We have recently sold our mother’s house. Of the three agents shortlisted, we chose Ballards due to high street presence and their enthusiasm and approach. This included Ryan who is dedicated to progressing the sale through to completion.<br><br>We agreed the particulars quickly, had viewings booked within a day and an immediate offer of the asking price. We used Conway solicitors (introduced by Ballards). The entire process was faultless and very fast as the buyers were keen to move quickly.<br><br>We completed on the sale less than 6 weeks after the house going on the market. They employ someone to progress the sale … I had to constantly chase the person who was supposed to be doing the chasing.

They kept us updated every step of the way, so we always knew what was happening, which made the whole buying process so much less stressful.<br><br>Everyone was incredibly friendly, approachable and genuinely helpful. The communication was fantastic throughout, and it really felt like they valued us as customers and wanted to do everything they could to help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and any questions we had were answered quickly.<br><br>We couldn't recommend them enough and are so grateful for all of their support in helping us buy our new home. From the very first meeting, they were professional, knowledgeable and genuinely invested in getting us the right result. The marketing was excellent — the photos really showed the property at its best, and they clearly spent time getting every detail right. What really stood out, though, was the quality of the viewings: every viewer was properly qualified and genuinely interested, so we never felt our time was being wasted. Throughout the process they kept us regularly updated and were always on hand to answer questions, and when it came to the paperwork and managing the chain, they handled everything with real skill and patience — the whole sale went through seamlessly, with far less stress than we'd expected. Henne in particular deserves a mention - she really helped when our chain was dragging by communicating up and down the line and keeping us informed every step. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Always picking up phone calls, always there to help no matter the question, always on top of things. 7th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)I contacted Matt Davies to view a property in mid May. After making an offer that was accepted, Matt was instrumental in liaising with the property owner for access to the property before completion in order to complete renovation works. He communicated well, responded to requests in a timely manner and nothing was too much trouble. And he answered his phone when I rang. We moved in on July 29th and couldn't have done it without his help.<br><br>I would have no hesitation in recommending Matt and Knight Frank in Henley if you're buying or selling property in this area.

They supported me during a very difficult and stressful period when my previous landlord served me with a Section 21 notice and I urgently needed to find suitable accommodation for my family. From the very beginning, the team was professional, understanding, and respectful. The agent took the time to listen to my circumstances, treated me with kindness and dignity, and worked hard to help me find the right property. Their communication was excellent throughout the process, and they were always available to answer questions and provide reassurance when needed. Moving home can be an overwhelming experience, but the support and guidance I received made the process much smoother and less stressful. I am very grateful for their help and for the genuine care they showed during a challenging time. Thank you for your professionalism, patience, and outstanding customer service. 18th Aug 2026 (6 days ago)I think it depends what partnership you have, I one I had the sales pitch was great but the communication throughout once I signed up with them was terrible, at one point t after I chased and chased for feedback after 1 week after a viewing they told me I had an offer, yes it was very low, but I was never told.
