7th Aug 2026 (16 days ago)I am deeply disappointed with the shocking lack of professionalism, archaic billing practices, and customer service at Chestertons Westminster & Pimlico branch.<br><br>Despite the tenancy transitioning to a rolling periodic setup under the Renters' Rights Act, Chestertons insisted on charging 12 months of commission fees upfront in advance. When I rightfully challenged this pointing out that forcing an upfront 12 month payment for a month-to-month rolling contract with no guaranteed 12-month term violates fair practices their response was staggering.<br><br>Instead of acting constructively or adapting to modern legislation, the representative dismissively told me to just "issue notice to the tenant." Suggesting the eviction of a perfectly good tenant simply to avoid restructuring an exploitative, upfront fee model is an absolute disgrace and a complete breach of an agent’s duty of care.

A LOT of work behind the scenes... Exchange, Completion. Done!!! I can not thank you enough Tom, Ben, Becky, Sian! You and your team made this happen, Happy vendor and happy buyer. Thanking you so much for the amazing work you did in selling my flat!!!! Amazing!!!! Though only our property manager for the last few months of our tenancy, Saima was the best one we had by far. Professional, punctual and empathetic to the problems we faced renting one of Hamptons properties, Saima made our experience interacting with Hamptons a lot better than previous property managers. So, the 5-star rating goes to Saima!

14th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)I am writing this based on my experience dealing with an agent at Century 21 London Central regarding a serious water leak from a property they manage.<br>A leak from the flat above caused significant damage to my flat, including damage to the ceiling, walls and flooring, with further cracks appearing in several areas. The source of the leak was subsequently confirmed by a Westminster Housing technician.<br>I first informed Dusan about the matter on 21 June. Since then, I have had to repeatedly chase for progress:<br>9 July – followed up for an update<br>14 July – followed up again<br>20 July – followed up again<br>21 July – contractor visited the flat to inspect the damage<br>28 July – followed up again<br>3 August – followed up again<br>On 3 August, the contractor confirmed that he would prepare the quotation that evening and send it to the agent the following morning, with the intention of arranging the repair as soon as possible. I heard nothing further.<br>By 12 August, I had to chase again. The agent then emailed the contractor asking for the quotation. This was despite the agent having already asked the contractor for the quote on 9 July and again on 29 July.<br>As of 14 August, almost eight weeks after I first contacted the agent, I still have no quotation and no date for the repair.<br>What is particularly disappointing is that I have repeatedly had to chase both the agent and contractor, rather than seeing the matter actively managed through to resolution. From my perspective, it feels as though the responsibility is simply being passed back and forth, while the damage to my property remains unrepaired.<br>The situation has also developed further, with my tenant reporting electrical problems after the water spread through the flat, including repeated circuit/fuse tripping and lights no longer working. This makes the lack of urgency even more concerning.<br>I understand that the leak itself was not caused by the agent. My concern is entirely with how the resulting problem has been managed. I would expect a professional property management company to take ownership of a serious maintenance issue, communicate properly with all parties and ensure that necessary repairs are progressed within a reasonable timeframe.<br>I am also a landlord myself, and I take the condition of my property and the wellbeing of my tenant very seriously. I would never allow a repair issue like this to be left unresolved for this length of time. Based on how this matter has been handled, I would not use the agent and Century 21 London Central to manage my property, as this level of management could damage the landlord’s reputation and potentially expose the landlord to complaints, liability and legal action if the property is not properly managed.

He took time to understand our needs, was always on hand to take our phone calls, completely transparent and able to help navigate us through the sale using his years of experience.<br><br>He found us a buyer within the first week of us speaking to him and they had even put in an offer. We literally couldn’t have sold it without TBA and their persistence through setback after setback, all of which were out of their control. There is simply not another agent in the East End which will provide a service as tailored as the one which Adam and the rest of the team offer. Do not hesitate to instruct TBA as you will not receive half the service from other agents.
