12th Aug 2026 (11 days ago)Wouldn’t recommend!<br>I have raised several concerns about one of their tenants, to Helen & the MD but nothing has been done. Emails are ignored or replied to months later with inadequate excuses, since they moved in in December 2025!<br>I am writing this review at 4 am, having been kept up until 11 pm with the 8 year old child screaming like a banshee again and now being woken up with him banging around the house!<br>I have lived at my property for four years, and the last year has been a total nightmare!

Review for Connells Estate Agents - Ashford, Kent<br><br>I just bought my flat through Connells Ashford and had a fantastic experience.<br>The whole team in the branch were incredibly helpful, professional, and made what can be a stressful process really smooth.<br><br>A special shout out to Tracey Keithson who went above and beyond to help me through every step. She was responsive, reassuring, and nothing was too much trouble.<br><br>I would highly recommend Connells Ashford to anyone looking to buy or sell property. Thank you all!<br><br>Nice moving in welcome pack too! ????????????
26th May 2026 (13 weeks ago)Duncan came to view and value our 6 bedroom property in Egerton …stayed for an hour and a half …. left promising to send detailed email valuation … two weeks later still nothing despite calling the office to check he had the correct details. Not very professional and not a good sign. Won’t be proceeding with savills
23rd May 2024 (2 years ago)I would highly recommend Angela Hirst when looking to rent your new home. So professional and such a friendly service. If I had a question I would get a reply quickly and explained well if there was something I didn't understand. The day I got my keys the agent was very thorough with the inventory check of the property and made sure I had everything I needed before she left. 100% would recommend if I know anyone looking to rent.

28th Jul 2026 (26 days ago)Lack of Transparency and Poor Service<br><br>I instructed Reeds Rains to find a tenant for my property and opted for their Rent Collection service. I relied on the Fee Table provided at the front of the agreement to understand the costs — as any reasonable person would. What I was not told, either verbally or in the Fee Table, was that a hidden exit fee equivalent to one month's rent plus VAT would apply if I later chose to manage the property myself.<br><br>This fee was buried in the body of the contract with no signposting. Had it been disclosed, I would never have chosen this service.<br><br>The service itself was equally poor. They failed to collect the very first rental payment — my tenant had to tell me the rent was overdue. They also failed to contact the tenant before the end of the first year to discuss renewal, as their own documentation required. Both times, my tenant came to me directly.<br><br>I have now escalated through two stages of their complaints process without any meaningful engagement on the core issue, and will refer the matter to The Property Ombudsman if Stage 3 does not resolve it. Any landlord considering this service should read every clause of the Terms of Business carefully — the Fee Table does not give you the full picture.
17th Dec 2025 (8 mo. ago)Asked if it was possible to get a all be it large reduction on a rental property per month if I were to guarantee the rent for 4/5 years and was sent a very passive aggressive response from the lettings manager Edward Gailey “so just to be clear you’re offering X for a property listed at X per month?” Unwarranted response when he could have just said that this wasn’t possible on this property and then could have suggested some other properties in my bracket! None the less they have lost a tenant that was about to let 4 properties in one go! Oh well, maybe some customer service training wouldn’t go a miss for Mr Gailey lettings manager?

8th Aug 2026 (15 days ago)Just moved into our new property that we purchased through Kent Estate Agency Tankerton Branch, Hannah has helped us all the way through, nothing was to much for her, she was very professional, very polite and friendly. We often phoned her when we could not get through to our Solicitor and she would always help us. We throughly recommend Kent estate agencies to anyone buying or selling, 5 Stars from us.
30th Jun 2026 (8 weeks ago)After being let down on another viewing with a different company, Vicky Pluta immediately offered a viewing for the same evening on a different property and was extremely helpful. She answered all our questions, and even managed to organise another viewing so my partner could see the property too for the next morning. We’re so very grateful for her keenness to help, which shows by the fact we put in an offer on the property the next day. Highly recommend Vicky as your estate agent, a really lovely & informative girl.
20th Aug 2026 (3 days ago)Unfortunately, my experience of Skippers Folkestone has been a total nightmare from finding doors unlocked lights left on and even the toilet used despite them being told the water was off after viewings. I have been unable to contact them on several occasions and left message but they have failed on all occasions to ring me back and I have had to continue until I finally got hold of them and all they wanted to do was reduce the price totalling a reduction of £ 75000 below their original valuation during the calls. I finally decided it was time to move on again I was told there was no contract length and depending who I spoke to gave me different answers on how to give notice. I gave notice only to find they took a viewing for the day after they ceased to be the selling agent. Again, the fun began I was unable to get hold of any one, 24 hrs later I had to go to the office due to them failing to return the call. I was then subject to the most appalling onslaught of excuses. After realising they weren't going to accept any responsibility or listen to my experience I left being told I could cancel the viewing or do it myself to which I agreed to do. later that day I received a phone call telling me I was unfit to do the viewing and they would HAVE to do the viewing. I contact the owner to say how disgusting this comment was and for him explain why it had been ok for me to do viewing previously and yet now I was being told I was unfit to do this viewing. All I can say is MY experience of Skippers Folkestone has been a total nightmare and caused so much stress I would NEVER recommend them to anybody.

The team at Gould Harrison really listen, and had a very clear idea of what my parents were looking for. They notified us immediately a suitable property became available. I think that they were as excited as us that they had found my parents the perfect home. Lee, Harry, Jay, Jo and others in the team were so kind and nothing was too much trouble for them. We would thoroughly recommend them for their outstanding service and we are sincerely grateful to them.

They made what is a very stressful time bearable. They continually kept us updated of progress, whether it was good or bad, fully explaining the situation.<br>Thank you for your dedication.

8th May 2026 (15 weeks ago)We changed agents to Your Key Move on a recommendation from a friend and we are so glad we did! We felt totally confident leaving the sale in Carlo's hands - we felt that if he couldn't sell the property, nobody could! We got our sale and Carlo eased both us and our buyers through the process. Our buyers were working to a tight time schedule, which we managed to achieve thanks to Carlo's efforts. Carlo always answers his 'phone if he can, and if he can't take the call, he will 'phone back as soon as he can. Always answers WhatsApp and email messages at any time of the day or evening, so you really feel that you have someone working with you. So much better than the usual estate agent 9-5 office hours. He provided the same high level of service to our buyers and guided them through various issues and acted as a go between for all of us. Our buyer said, after completion, how patient and helpful Carlo had been throughout the process with all the questions and queries that he had contacted Carlo with! Carlo is a 'make it happen' man and we are so grateful for the original recommendation. Would highly recommend his services to anybody thinking of selling their property.
