She was lovely, helpful and professional throughout the whole process, always quick to respond and happy to help with any questions we had. Everything was handled smoothly and efficiently, which made the whole renting process much easier for us.

Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish.<br><br>The agency seemed to have a poor understanding of the local market, communication was consistently lacking, and the sale ultimately took over 10 months to complete.<br><br>From the beginning, I felt the property was poorly marketed. There also appeared to be a lack of transparency with prospective buyers regarding the fact that the property was realistically suited to cash buyers, which caused unnecessary delays and complications.<br><br>Communication was one of the biggest issues. There were numerous occasions when I tried calling and simply could not get through, and at times I found the attitude I received dismissive rather than helpful.<br><br>At one stage, I even found myself having to advise the agent on how the negotiations should be handled because there seemed to be very little urgency or effort being put into progressing the sale. Eventually, after having phone calls and emails not responded to, I contacted the manager that took over the case, which did improve things somewhat, but the overall service was still far below what I would expect from an estate agency handling the sale of a property. How can it take over a week and me practically begging to get a response to hear from an agency?<br><br>After more than 10 months, I came away extremely disappointed with the experience. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this agency to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, proactive and attentive agent who will actively work to sell their property, communicate consistently and make them feel that the sale is in capable hands. You should seriously improve the level of service.

From start to finish the process was very smooth, with clear guidance along the way. I would recommend Drummonds to anyone going through the process of buying/selling a property.

11th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)I let 2 properties with kings estate agents and I can't praise them enough.they go above and beyond and are always on hand to help and guide you. They find excellent tennants manage the properties, they communicate everything to me that I need to know and bother me with things I don't. There fees are excellent for work they do. I cannot praise them all enough but special thanks to Christine and Andy you are amazing and I would be lost without you.

17th Aug 2026 (7 days ago)Stacy handled the sale and was Polite knowledgeable and professional at all times. Answering any questions that I had thoroughly and explaining so that I totally understood. Stacy valued the property and marketed it at what I thought was the most realistic price from the 3 valuations I had received. The property was only on the market for 2 weeks and 3 days before I received 2 offers for the full asking price.

24th May 2026 (13 weeks ago)We viewed a property on December 30 2025 and made an offer the same day. Although the office was closed , the manager rang me from home and we started the process.. Through out the whole journey Marian from the Stockton office was absolutely amazing. She kept in constant touch and nothing was too much trouble for her. She went over and beyond to help us. We shall never forget her professionalism and kind nature.

I was extremely happy with Clare who throughout the process was always efficient ,friendly,supportive and conscientious .She replied to and resolved any queries promptly.The communication about viewings was very good and we were reminded about viewings the day before. I was very disappointed by the Sales Progressor who was difficult to speak to ,worked short hours and failed to contact us promptly causing difficulty and additional stress.

First, there is no way to actually speak to them on the phone — when I called, a voice message specifically stated that you cannot call them directly and I had to leave a message instead. For an estate agency, that is ridiculous.<br><br>I was visiting Ormskirk from another part of the UK and only in the area for a few hours. While driving in the area, I spotted a property I was interested in, so I made the effort to drive to their branch in person. I was met by a saleswoman from their team, who was cold and frankly snooty. Every question I asked was met with a long-winded "no" and zero useful information.<br><br>I am a seasoned property investor, part of the largest property network in the UK and Europe, and I regularly buy houses. Through their unhelpfulness and her dismissive attitude, they have lost not just my business but business from my wider network. I will not be using GR Estates again, and based on my experience I couldn't recommend them to anyone.

Picked up keys today and very happy with the purchase for the price I got it for - would 100% use them again for another purchase as they have a lot of good deals if you are looking to buy tenanted property.

14th May 2026 (15 weeks ago)Speaking as a seller, the service from Harvey Brooks was professional and productive, in that a buyer was already on the books and looking for a house like ours. This was great. Selling can be a painful and frustrating business but HB managed to keep us informed and our buyer onboard over what proved to be a lengthier process than expected. There was neither a downward chain nor upward but various legal difficulties emerged in the sale of an 1850's property, which proved to be extremely time consuming. My advice, choose your solicitor carefully, with experience of old, but incomplete for the modern era, title deeds. A lot of common sense would help on both or more sides. But HB helped get our sale completed by regularly liaising with all parties and that is what mattered in the end.
