19th Mar 2026 (23 weeks ago)Poor experience with this letting agent, not helped by the tightest landlord (Kate) who wouldn't pay for repairs to be done in a timely manner, leaving our family in tricky circumstances more than once. When they do eventually send someone over to complete the work, it'll be done shoddily. I hope that £43 you managed to claim back via the DPS versus the nearly £800 you asked for is helpful :) To any renters - be under no illusion, the letting agent works for the landlord and is not there to help you in the slightest. This specific letting agents manager will suggest you scrape and replaster the bathroom ceiling (which was poorly maintained by the landlord) yourself "to make the house your own".

4th Aug 2026 (20 days ago)Extremely disappointed with the service from this estate agency. From the start, it was clear they only care about pushing through a quick sale rather than actually understanding what I need. They pressured me to fit their timescale with zero consideration for my personal circumstances or capacity to move at that pace.<br><br>There was also no attempt to understand what I’m looking for in my next property. I specifically need a 3-4 bed detached house, and despite telling the agent this, I kept receiving listings for 2 bed semis instead from the ‘agent’ Mandip Nagra. It felt like nobody was actually listening to my requirements.<br><br>On top of that, when I asked to rearrange a photography session for my house, Mandip was genuinely rude to me about it, saying that I was making the estate agent lose money. He spoke to me in a condescending tone stating ‘you do know that this isn’t the first time you’ve tried to rearrange the photography session, right?’ That interaction was the final straw of why I decided to pull out of the sale entirely. If a basic conversation about rearranging a booking turns into rudeness, it doesn’t inspire any confidence in how the rest of the process would be handled.<br><br>Overall, this experience has left me feeling like a number rather than a client. I’d expect basic listening skills and courtesy as standard, and this agency failed on both counts. I wouldn’t recommend them if you want an agent who actually takes your needs into account. I really hope the manager, Steve, will speak to Mandip regarding my complaint about his attitude as this will continue to push customers away if it is not corrected.

Everyone was genuinely friendly, supportive and went above and beyond to help make it happen.<br><br>A special thank you to Amy and Denise, who were fantastic throughout the whole process. They were always approachable, kept me updated, and made everything as smooth and stress-free as possible.<br><br>I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. If you’re buying your first home, you’re in safe hands.

They were both extremely helpful with Elaine going the extra mile on chasing down on our house sale. I said it to her a few times that I wished she was selling our house as she seemed much move proactive than our estate agent. 15th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)If you’re a student, I do NOT recommend this company. You’re genuinely better off somewhere else unless you already know that everyone you’re living with is clean and trustworthy.<br><br>They don’t seem to care who is actually neglecting the house and will make it everyone’s problem, even if there is evidence that you personally are taking care of the house. I sent over 10 emails about the poor living conditions I had to deal with because I was placed with people I didn’t know who were constantly neglecting the house, and nothing really improved. There were also multiple noise complaints from different people in the house.<br><br>The way they handle complaints is honestly horrible. They basically just send out emails reminding everyone of the rules and that’s it. There don’t seem to be any actual consequences. You can keep complaining and explaining the situation, but it feels like nothing actually gets done.<br><br>Me and my partner also went to a viewing before they showed us another house and, honestly, to no surprise, the house was a complete mess. It was genuinely disgusting and made me question what some of their other shared/HMO properties are like.<br><br>If you’re thinking about renting with them, please read more reviews, especially reviews about their HMO/shared properties, before you make a decision.<br><br>Overall, my experience was extremely frustrating and I would personally look somewhere else.
14th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)My experience buying a house through Connells was incredibly complicated and stressful, largely due to a lack of communication and support throughout the process. I dealt with Hazel, who was unresponsive and unhelpful at key stages, leaving me chasing for updates that should have been provided proactively. What should have been a straightforward process turned into a frustrating one because of poor service. Would not recommend.
