22nd Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)We saw a property for let online, and last week my partner reached out to the agency to request a viewing and ask what documents were needed for the application. We were told we’d get an email with the details, but never received a response. After ome week I followed up asking for both a reply and a viewing, but again, nothing. Honestly, it’s not surprising the property has been on the market for almost a year—prospective tenants shouldn’t have to chase basic communication. Because of this lack of professionalism and responsiveness, we decided to look elsewhere and won’t be dealing with this agency.

18th Aug 2025 (7 mo. ago)My girlfriend and I had the privilege of renting through Apparent Properties for three years. The staff, notably Geraldine and Laurie-Ann, are friendly, punctual and extremely well-organised. As renters, we felt very looked after (which is a rarity in London) and we would have stayed renting with Apparent if we still lived in the capital!
7th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)I cannot recommend Brown and Brooke enough. From the initial recommendations to being tenants with them for almost 3 years the experience has been exceptional. Cameron was our contact and he was efficient, professional and always responsive. As a landlord myself in another country, I genuinely wish we had him managing our property there, as good realtors are hard to find. When I visit for business they will be my first port of call even for temporary accommodation, as they have my trust. Thank you Cameron and Brown and Brooke.

18th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)I do not recommend it. We lived in the Newlands Park property that they manage in London for 5 years. The owner invests 0 in the property. During the winter, the toilet gets a lot of mould due to the humidity. We always asked them to fix it, and they never did; we fixed it ourselves, as both my husband and I have respiratory issues. They were always very, very slow to respond to issues we had with the property; we had to chase them all the time. In fact, during our last month in the property, a water pipe that always been damaged broke again because the person the send to fix it only puts tape, and doesn't fix it properly By the 3rd year, they wanted to increase the rent, and you’d think, yes, that’s fair, but again, the landlord never wanted to reinvest in the property, even though it clearly needed a decent investment. We were very reluctant to allow them to increase the rent, as the property NEEDS a lot of repairs. No double glazing, so the property is not energy efficient. The cellar has mould, so anything you put in there gets ruined by it. The wood in the kitchen window and the bath is rotten, never got fixed During our last year (2025), in May, THEY LIED and told us the owner wanted to sell the property; we were thinking of leaving the country anyway, so we were okay with it. They told us we had to leave by August. However, the timing was not right, as we had some travel planned. We managed to get an extension until November, sorted out our move and work situation, and moved to Spain at the end of November. And to add, they took 1.5 months to return our deposit. My husband had to chase them a couple of times, and the last time he told them that if the deposit wasn't returned by the 9th of Jan, he would escalate it. they didn’t even return all of it. , and guess what? The property is now available TO RENT £150 more expensive, and with all of the issues we flag and they and the landlord haven’t fixed them at all. AVOID!
3rd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Billy was outstanding. He was efficient, polite and courteous and responded to emails quickly which enabled the rental process to be completed in two weeks from my first viewing! He truly is an asset to Curran and Pinner.

17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)What a different way to sell a home, with supportive, gentle and trustworthy people. We’d been mulling over the idea of relocating out of London for years and even discussed putting our home on the market with Unique previously. What we like is that there is no big sales pitch, no pressure to sell, just listening and responding. But more importantly, keeping both our buyers and us calm, communicative and friendly throughout the sale, so it felt as smooth as it could possibly be. We’re not planning to do move again any time soon, but we’d definitely use Unique if we were.

Businesses are made up of people and Mylako has some great professionals working there who take the needs and situations of their customers very seriously and it shows with the correction of issues relating to works needing to be done, accounts to be paid and a myriad of other things for which a capable and willing managing agent is essential
22nd Jan 2025 (1 year ago)Awful! We put our property on the market, they came round and took photos on an "iPhone, we were expecting a professional photographer. Some were so bad we retook them ourselves. The write-up was no better, we had to reword and add details to it. We weren't asked to complete the money laundering check, which is unlawful. We had one viewing, we were expecting Martin, but his wife turned up saying he had fallen out of bed and couldn't do it???? She was clueless regarding our property and very unprofessional. He forgot conversations, didn't respond to text/answerphone messages and lied to me about being away. He works from home and has one employee, plus his wife. It's noticeable they only have three/four properties on their books at the moment. Avoid

They have been knowledgeable and extremely helpful and made the whole selling process run smoothly with less stress. Dee was an immense help and was always available to solve issues and queries and I would happily recommend them to all.

If you need an higher price, other estate agents will try to find that for you. That might be the right approach for you, but if you want to sell at the market price, Standford’s aim to do that for you.

Always available, always charming, always diligent in following up the slightest lead. The overall service was disorganised and unreliable, leaving me frustrated and disappointed. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Whilst many other estate agents are full of hot air, patronising and have no clue what they are doing, Jo and her team stand out from the crowd by being genuine, friendly, easily contactable and really good at their jobs. No overpromising or under delivering, Hestia’s know the business in and out and we felt in safe hands. They have a great eye for property and their photography is on point. We would happily buy or sell with Hestia’s again.
31st Aug 2022 (3 years ago)Just a typical estate agent that are nice to you to get you to sign the contract, after that they treat you like they are the ones doing you a favour. Very rude and abrupt, you’d think there would be an element of care or desire to provide great customer service considering the amount of competition there is. Recommendation = avoid
