19th Jun 2026 (16 days ago)For starters, if there were an option for 0 stars, Harry Harper Lettings would have earned it with flying colours.<br>Nothing quite says "welcome to your new home" like finding raw fish left in the freezer, eight full bin bags decorating the garden, and a mould-ridden bedroom that had clearly never seen treatment. It's a truly unique move-in experience.<br>Communication was equally impressive. If you've ever wanted to spend your time speaking to robots, being ignored altogether, or being passed between people who don't know the answer and have no intention of finding it, you're in luck. Customer service appears to be treated as more of a theoretical concept than an actual service.<br>The grand finale? Being charged £400 from our deposit when leaving, despite the condition the property was handed over in.<br>A letting agent's job is supposed to be managing properties and supporting tenants. Harry Harper Lettings seem to have interpreted this somewhat differently.<br>An amateur operation at best. The rental market deserves better, and tenants deserve their rights.
19th Jan 2026 (24 weeks ago)I have been a client of lettings2sales for 20 years so can speak from experience here , originally met Mike and put a property on for rental which was fantastic and then did the same with a couple more . Always had fab tenants and kept updated to by the team . In latter years have also sold property as now wanting to retire and again have been kept informed on the process . I do not hesitate to recommend letting2sales to anyone thinking of letting or selling and thank Mike , Hannah and Sarah and Sue now retired for many years of great service thank you all .

They are a fantastic estate agent, very flexible and helpful providing access when needed and really professional managing communication between us and the vendor. We will certainly be using Thomas H Wood if/when we sell the house in the future.

After switching to Herbert R Thomas, recommended by get agent, there were a number of viewings on the property and an offer made and accepted. Wish we had used get agent sooner as after switching it was sold within 6 weeks after being listed previously for over 15 months.

The professional photography showcased the property beautifully, and the communication, support, and positive attitude from everyone involved were exceptional throughout.<br><br>The team was always friendly, attentive, and kept me informed every step of the way, making the whole experience a pleasure. I have fond out the the landlord has supposedly accepted a lower offer. The offer i made was higher than the asking price. Amy (exceptionally rude would not shut up talking over me all the time) I asked had she put the offer to the landlord she said she had spoken to the tenants (what right had she to do that) she also said she had spoken to the landlord and put the higher offer to him (how do I know that she did this) why would a landlord not accept a higher offer of £15000? I know my house is going on the market next week (if the person has only been in the property for 7 years the landlord needs to give 8 weeks notice and he can give as much notice as he wants. The agents will not give the landlord's address but this is available via the land registry service which i shall use to obtain the information this is the only way I can verify if the estate agents have put my offer to the landlord
29th Jun 2026 (6 days ago)I would not recommend renting through this letting agency.<br><br>Throughout our tenancy, it consistently felt as though the agency prioritised protecting the landlord’s interests over ensuring their tenants had a safe and habitable home. Whenever problems arose, communication was poor, repairs were repeatedly delayed, and we were left living in unacceptable conditions for months while being refused permission to leave our tenancy early.<br><br>Our problems began as soon as we moved into our ground-floor flat in St Christopher’s Court. All three freezer drawers were cracked, but despite reporting it, only one replacement was provided. We followed this up but were ignored and lived with broken freezer drawers for the entire tenancy. The blinds also offered very little privacy, and when we asked to install a curtain pole in the bedroom, we were immediately told the landlord would not allow it.<br><br>Around two months into our tenancy, we reported ongoing issues with the water pressure, water temperature and a broken en-suite tap. We were initially told there was nothing wrong and invoiced for the call-out charge. Only after providing evidence and having an estate agent visit was the broken tap acknowledged. Despite repeatedly reporting it throughout the year, it was never repaired before we moved.<br><br>The most serious issue began in November 2025 when a major leak developed directly from the shower of the flat above. Despite reporting it immediately, nothing meaningful was done for several weeks because they insisted it was the guttering and wanted to wait for better weather. We had to contact FirstPort ourselves to raise the issue and inspect our flat as nothing had been done.<br><br>The leak spread into our wardrobe, damaging clothes, and we had to use our bath as a wardrobe. No alternative storage was offered. Eventually mould spread throughout the wardrobe and ceiling, and our bathroom light literally fell from the ceiling. The electrician who attended was excellent, repairing the light and cutting a drainage hole so water could safely drain into the shower—something that should have been done much sooner.<br><br>Instead, it felt like the priority was deciding who would pay for the repairs rather than prioritising us the tenants. We lived with this leak for around four months, including mould, damp, repeated electrical trips, our bathroom fan blowing up and water dripping from the ceiling whenever we showered. The conditions became so bad that we reported the property to the council.<br><br>Although the source of the leak was eventually repaired in February, the damage inside our flat remained. Our wardrobe and ceiling were covered in mould, nothing had dried sufficiently for repairs, and our request to leave the tenancy early because the property was no longer reasonably habitable was refused. We were told repairs were being delayed because the landlord was pursuing the upstairs flat regarding liability.<br><br>We eventually had to request a dehumidifier and professional mould clean ourselves—both things we believe should have been arranged automatically. The dehumidifier had to run continuously throughout winter, increasing our electricity bill by around £80 per month. Even then, the first repair simply painted over the damage without fixing it properly and had to be redone.<br><br>After five months, everything was finally resolved. We requested either reduced rent or permission to leave our tenancy early because we had spent months living with damp, mould and ongoing disruption. Both requests were refused. We were told the landlord had already spent too much money on repairs. After repeatedly pushing the issue, the only concession offered was 50% off our final month’s rent. By that point we had already moved into another property because we could no longer tolerate the conditions, meaning we were paying rent on two properties at once.<br><br>Overall, our experience was awful. Problems were repeatedly dismissed, repairs were unnecessarily delayed, and we felt our wellbeing was consistently treated as secondary to protecting the landlord’s financial interests

They were able to reach a large audience. The only thing we would prefer is if they used all online platforms as at the moment they don't seem to use Rightmove.

My house was valued and sold within within 3 weeks. Very impressed and wouldn't hesitate to go with CPS again.

It didn’t always go to plan, which is to be expected when selling (& buying), but the communication throughout from both of them, & the whole team, kept me in the loop and I therefore had complete confidence in the Agent I selected while selling at a distance.
