16th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)Ameded from five stars to one. After the tenancy ended it is impossible to get the deposit back from the agency. There isn't even a dispute, they are unresponsive and in nerly two months since the contract expired have done nothing except forwarding one email from the landlord. Everything else is me chasing them without any results. I have never waited this long and I am still waiting with zero support or ownership from them. Demoralising, best avoid. Original review below: Great experience renting with Dockside, professional, tailored and effective. Deepak has been great throughout the whole process.

6th Dec 2025 (7 mo. ago)I was very disappointed with this estate agency. The manager makes many promises but does nothing in reality. The listing was completely unprofessional, and instead of making proper improvements, they only suggested lowering the price. I cannot recommend their service.
25th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)I cannot recommend the team at Goldschmidt & Howland Temple Fortune highly enough! After a completely failed, incredibly frustrating experience trying to sell my property with the nearby Foxtons—who brought plenty of empty promises but absolutely zero results—(hiring idiots!) switching to Goldschmidt was the best decision I made. From day one, the team here was a breath of fresh air. They actually understand the local market intimately, were completely realistic with their strategy, and were incredibly proactive. Communication was flawless throughout, they qualified their buyers properly, and they managed to secure a fantastic sale for me in no time. If you want a sophisticated, professional estate agent who actually delivers results instead of just a slick corporate sales pitch, save yourself the time and go straight to them.

17th Jun 2026 (24 days ago)For all the tenants, you need to very be careful before you going Hilton and fox Wembley.<br>They were good to me until I moved out. Many things happened that shocked me. First, the landlord was stealing from me by creating fake gas invoices, and they were aware of this. Second, they are trying to keep all of my deposit, and not answering my calls or responding back. I was very kind to them. If i knew they were like this, I would have been more cautious with them from the beginning.

I am especially thankful for the help and assistance from Kira in managing my flat. Always so helpful and she always comes up with a plan to deal with any issues that arise. Very happy with their services
14th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)Myself and my partner have had the pleasure of working with Bond & Sherwill for the past 4 years as tenants and we honestly could not have asked for better agents. The whole team, with a particularly HUGE shoutout to Amy and Lee, are brilliant! Always quick to offer advice and assistance with anything we needed. Having worked with our fair share of different agents over the years, these guys are head and shoulders above the rest and we cannot recommend them enough!

He was of course motivated to act in the best interests of the seller, but he was professional, polite, detail oriented and diligent in dealing with our questions and concerns in a timely manner. He’s a good communicator. Our solicitor was not. He was able to reassure, educate and guide us through the unfamiliar process. He was always helpful and diplomatic which we much appreciated in the high stress of buying a home.

22nd Jun 2026 (19 days ago)Very poor experience from start to finish. I called on Saturday and was told they would check with the current tenants and arrange a viewing. They booked me in for 15:00, but when I called to confirm they went silent and stopped responding.<br><br>I chased again on Monday and they rearranged the viewing for 13:15. I arrived at 13:17. As I pulled up in my car the agent was already leaving, and we made eye contact. It was obvious I was there for the property, yet he carried on walking off, later claiming he assumed I wasn't coming. He couldn't wait even two minutes. When he finally came back to show me the property, he was abrupt, barely spoke to me, and gave the impression he had no interest in showing it at all.<br><br>When I asked about any flexibility on the rent, he told me he already had four other offers, all at the full asking price of £1,375, and that all four had already paid deposits.<br><br>Afterwards I messaged to ask about the council tax and to let them know I liked the property and wanted to put in an offer. Again, no reply. They simply ghosted me.<br><br>A complete lack of basic customer service and common courtesy. I would not recommend dealing with this agency.

Given the positive experience, we also chose Alex from SoH to bring our existing home on the market. Alex managed to find us great buyers within a few days. The entire process from taking marketing photos to completion took less than 2 months and had zero hiccups. From a buyer's and a seller's perspective, Alex was incredibly hard working and we very much appreciated that he always accommodated viewings & meetings on weekends and late evenings!

17th Jun 2026 (24 days ago)Martyn Gerard handled the selling of property 19 The Glade in Winhcmore hill , which was marketed as 3 bedroom property. We made our offer and agreed on the price , after agreement we made a survey which we paid £895 and spent £500 on solicitor fees just to find out property is 2 bedroom and loft extension is not in the lease/deed. Few times we have been told owner will add it to the deed and we have lost 5 months dealing with the property and losing money. While we were negotiating , we saw property was put back on the market as 2 bedroom with a lower price , which is now reduced even more. I was very disappointment with martyngerard winchmore hill , which i expect to be profiessionals . It was a total disaster the way they handled the process , amatuers i will say.

From start to finish, he provided an exceptionally professional, thorough, and personalised service, guiding us through what was far from a straightforward sale.<br><br>Our property in Purley came with a number of complex historical boundary issues, multiple stakeholders, and differing views and interests that could easily have derailed the process. Throughout, Dan remained calm, knowledgeable, understanding, and incredibly supportive. He took the time to simplify complicated matters, communicate clearly with all parties, and keep the sale moving forward when many others would have struggled.<br><br>What sets him apart is not only his expertise and integrity but also his deep understanding of the local and wider market. He knows exactly how to position and market a property, bringing out its best features through high quality marketing materials and a well considered strategy. His advice on pricing was realistic, accurate, and based on genuine market insight rather than simply telling us what we wanted to hear.<br><br>The level of service we received was far beyond anything I have experienced with a traditional high street estate agent. If you are looking for an estate agent in Purley who combines professionalism, market expertise, honesty, and a truly personal approach, I would wholeheartedly recommend Dan and Haboodle.
13th Jun 2026 (28 days ago)Very disappointing experience. Ruby called us on Wednesday to arrange a viewing for Saturday morning at 10am. We received an email with 2 attachments of the tenancy fees and how to rent guide, however no confirmation of the viewing or the full address of the property. We then followed up twice in the next 2 days, however we received no response.<br>As we both work, we specifically arranged this viewing before work and adjusted our plans to make it happen. We were about to give up and send an email to cancel the viewing as we did not receive any communication from the agency, however at 7am in the morning of the appointment we finally received a text confirming the viewing. We then travelled for almost an hour to meet the agent.<br>At 9:45am, just 15 minutes before the scheduled viewing, my partner received a call informing us that the viewing had been cancelled. By that point we were already walking down the street where the property is located.<br>The lack of communication and the extremely late cancellation showed a complete lack of consideration for our time. Had Ruby responded to our emails or informed us earlier that the viewing could not go ahead, we could have avoided wasting our entire morning before work.<br>Based on this experience I would not recommend dealing with this agency.
