1st May 2026 (8 days ago)Put house on the market with Darlows - had other estate agents to come as well but went with Darlows Pontypridd, whilst they are not the cheapest agent in my area they seem to have the most Sold signs and Hollie from Pontypridd branch came to the house, she is so enthusiastic and bubbly and had all the facts and figures and came so prepared - even though we were not 100 per cent committed to selling at that point she explained everything and was so patient, not rushing at all she left us with all the information in a lovely presentation file. We decided a few days later that we were going to sell and obviously called Hollie to book in photos, she came the same day to get us on the market within 24 hours - took great photos too, really pleased with everything so far - now they just need to sell it for us but we have had a good start and communication has been very good ??????

A special mention to Rob, who did a fantastic job selling our home — professional, knowledgeable, and always reassuring throughout the process. Also a big thank you to Nick, who really helped get the exchange over the line. He was incredibly patient and responsive, especially considering how often I was chasing him for updates! His persistence and communication made a real difference during what was a very stressful stage and I don’t know if it would’ve happened without him. Overall, a friendly and dedicated team! Highly recommended.

23rd Jan 2026 (15 weeks ago)Had 8 different estate agents value my property (having already done my own research). ONLY Fox and Sons valued it the same. All the others just showed my details of other properties, none of which compared to mine, and put a ridiculously low value on mine. I showed them the door. Fox & Sons did not do this. They organised professional photographs etc., and advertised my property. Within a week I had an acceptable offer at my and Fox & Sons valuation, and far above that at which all the other Estate Agents had valued my home. The service from Fox & Sons has been nothing short of excellent, keeping me fully informed by text, email and phone, every step of the way. all I can do now is keep my fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly for the buyer.

15th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)No one really talks about the back end of the process when selling your home, when things don’t go smoothly it’s actually critical to the whole thing! Downers certainly are high achievers in this area of expertise, Fraser, the office manager is exceptional and I honestly don’t think we’d have completed the sale without him. That’s not a discredit to the rest of the team who were also professional & helpful, exactly what you need. We just can’t thank Fraser enough, we would highly recommend them ??

Emily the sales progressor kept us in the loop and always answered our questions asap. The WhatsApp group was easy to communicate and as a busy working mum, I was able to access all the messages when I could. I cannot fault their service and would highly recommend :)

Her communication was clear, timely, and reassuring at every stage, which made everything feel much more manageable. Steve, the mortgage advisor, was equally impressive. His extensive knowledge really stood out, and he was always willing to help and explain things in a way that made sense. Combined with his great communication, it made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward. Overall, a highly professional and supportive team that I’d happily recommend.

Thank you!- 17th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)I found Peter Alan quite unpleasant to deal with. Despite clearly stating multiple times that we were happy with our current mortgage broker, they repeatedly pressured us to arrange a meeting with theirs. This led to excessive calls—sometimes three or four times a day—which quickly became frustrating. Additionally, when we identified another property of interest, it was extremely difficult to get through to them. We had to call several times, and on some occasions, it felt as though calls were being ignored or even deliberately disconnected. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
