When I asked them to stop sending flyers they continued sending them to my vacant property and despite being signed up with another agent.<br><br>Addendum following the reply below: The date of my review was 6 months ago, the reply below was 4 hrs ago exemplifying my point. I am still receiving these irritating flyers which are counter productive as I won't use this annoying agency.

Although I ultimately didn’t take my mortgage through them, the advice and guidance I received was excellent. They were very knowledgeable, professional, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly and answer all my questions.<br><br>I really appreciated the honest and helpful advice, and I never felt pressured to proceed. Even though I didn’t end up using their services for my mortgage, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for professional and trustworthy mortgage advice.

We are truly grateful for his dedication and effort in helping us settle into our new home.<br><br>As first-time renters in the UK coming from overseas, we noticed that letting regulations, verification practices, and administrative procedures differ significantly from what we are accustomed to in Hong Kong. My case worker, Lisa, was exceptional from start to finish. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, patient, and always happy to explain everything in a way that I could understand. No question ever felt too small, and she always responded quickly, giving me complete confidence throughout the purchase.<br><br>What really stood out was the teamwork. Whenever someone was out of the office, my case never felt like it was put on hold. Maria and Anna (who are both also brilliant) would seamlessly step in, keeping everything moving and ensuring I was always kept informed. 19th Aug 2026 (4 days ago)We recently sold our house through Connells but using their third-party auction company. Once signed up to the auction company, they should take over the sale leaving very little for Connells to do, unfortunately this didn’t happen, the service we received was very poor. Thankfully, Samantha Oxley at Connells was on the ball, acting between us and the auction company. There were times when Sam was as frustrated as us with the lack of service from the auction company, but she kept working on our behalf.<br>Thanks Sam

31st May 2026 (12 weeks ago)I have been involved in 3 sales over the last few years, with various Southampton agents. Goadsby are far and away the best agent we have used. They are the first party involved in a sale I have ever wanted to use again. You are dealing with humans who understand the overall context of the sale, not an automated workflow of Bot like responses.

3rd Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)I would avoid these estate agents. Their customer service is fine, but unfortunately they work with misleading developers. Likely, you will end up losing money on your property and with a lot of unnecessary stress if you use them for a new build. We bought a new build through them about 3 years ago. To this date, the developer they have been representing has not finished our road, landscaping, or snagging. And this is after chasers and legal action. This has already been addressed with Waterfords at the time, so they are well aware, and we understand that it is not their responsibility to fulfil the developer's duties. However, what I did not expect is that whilst they well know that the said developer (Downton Homes) misleads buyers, Waterfords will continue advertising and selling their properties (having just sold a full new development for them in Ewshot). I guess money talks! But also says a lot about the ethics of this organisation called Waterfords. I would not deal with a business with such ethics, let alone use them to purchase a new build, and moreso if it is produced by Downton Homes.

Very helpful with enquiries and always happy to take the time to let us view the property again. They maintained good contact throughout the process and kept us in the loop with progress and solicitors. Would recommend!
8th Aug 2026 (15 days ago)We bought our house through Ewemove Tadley and they were pretty good to deal with as a buyer for the most part, but charging £80+ for ID checks from the buyers is absolutely criminal and takes the mick. No need for that whatsoever, sheer profiteering. I know other EA’s don’t charge this so it’s completely unnecessary. Do better.
