I needed professional assistance with serving legal documents to my tenant, and they handled the entire process with complete efficiency. Beyond just the paperwork, they provided invaluable advice on current regulations and other compliance requirements I wasn't fully aware of. Their expertise saved me a lot of stress and potential legal headaches. Highly professional, knowledgeable, and proactive—I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services to any landlord. 9th Apr 2026 (30 days ago)Owners should avoid using Westways. As a renter, Westways are the agents to represent landlords. We are renting a place through Westways, where there have been persistent issues. In addressing these issues, Westways persistently show a lack of care and professionalism when addressing these matters. A key issue being, ignoring most matters being raised, taking an extended time to respond to any matters raised and primarily will be an acknowledgement over any possible action, looking to first blame the tenant prior to assessing any issues, sending inadequate contractors to assess issues with a house, and using incorrect contractors to fix issues which ultimately lead to additional issues. Whilst in some instances the house may inherently present issues, the lack of care and professionalism is evident. The comedy of issues we have faced have led to inadequate living conditions we are paying rent for. Additionally, by using their 'own' contractors and not appropriate contractors, issues persist and it leads to a more costly issue for owners. I am not a professional but what I do know is, if you have an issue with plumbing, send a plumber. If the same person who addressed an electricity matter is also tending to a plumbing issue, how can they do a better job than a plumber?
10th Apr 2026 (29 days ago)Absolutely unacceptable level of service. I walked in today 10.04 as a potential tenant and was immediately met with a complete lack of professionalism. A staff member was casually eating and chatting while I stood there waiting to be acknowledged, with no greeting or even basic recognition. After several seconds of being ignored, I was finally noticed, but the reaction I received made it very clear that my presence was seen as an interruption rather than a customer walking through the door. That kind of attitude is not only unwelcoming, it’s outright disrespectful. If this is how prospective clients are treated on first contact, it raises serious concerns about how the business operates overall. The owner should be concerned about this kind of behaviour being displayed to potential customers. Needless to say, I will not be returning or considering this place further. First impressions matter—and this one ensured there won’t be a second.

They were always accommodating when arranging viewings and took the time to clearly explain everything about the property. Communication between all parties was smooth and prompt, and they were always quick to respond to any questions I had. Friendly, approachable, and very supportive throughout the process. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and efficient estate agency.

As a first time landlord not knowing everything regarding lettings / rentals they have been keeping me up to date every step of the way. Would use David Andrews again in a heartbeat!

Unlike many agents who delegate once an offer is accepted, Aaron personally handled every single stage of my sale. He liaised directly with both solicitors, resolved issues before they became problems and kept the entire process moving with professionalism and calm efficiency. What truly sets him apart is his transparency, integrity and speed. He always got back to me quickly, communicated clearly and made sure I understood exactly what was happening at each step. His involvement removed so much stress and ensured the sale progressed smoothly and without delays. We had had a bad experience with another agent before switching to Martyn Gerrard and we really noticed the difference in how we were treated and how they worked with us. Useful feedback was given after every viewing and we really felt like they were on our side and trying to get the best outcome for us (and not just push us to sell as quickly as possible to get them their commission). I would definitely use Martyn Gerrard again.
