27th May 2026 (22 weeks ago)We requested a valuation. The person who came to visit our property was despondent and showed no interest what so ever in our questions. We were given no information on how the estate agency works the fees. Just a pamphlet show similar properties sold in our area. These were from other estate agents, so the moment they left I arranged for them to visit. Already had fabulous service and communication from the other estate agencies. Awful. Would not want them selling my property. Total lack of enthusiasm and information.

But, the careful balance of compassion, care, professionalism and then the business was navigated with incredible skill. The ease with which the house went on the market was amazing, the pictures, description, the overall presentation was so impressive I almost bought it myself.<br>More than that though, when all was concluded the aftercare and advice was so very much appreciated.<br>I will never be able to praise or thank the team enough.<br>A particular mention to Jack and Michaela, who had to endure more than they ever should.<br>Myself and Fudge (shshsh it’s a secret) thank you, from the pieces of my heart

My previous agent was helpful enough, but they simply couldn't find a buyer who was ready and able to proceed.<br><br>From the moment I switched to Bairstow Eves (Rayleigh), the difference was obvious. On day one, they arranged for a professional photographer to take photos and a video of my home — and they'd already lined up two viewings with interested buyers. Both wanted to buy the house! During the viewing, the agent built a genuine rapport with the buyers, really understanding what my property had to offer.<br><br>Even after accepting an offer, their care didn't stop. Bairstow Eves has continued to liaise with everyone involved, actively chasing the paperwork to keep the sale moving.<br><br>All in all, I've been delighted with their professional service — both before and after the sale. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I was made to feel that they cared and was kept informed throughout the whole process. Rhesa has been a tower of strength from her help and advice and literal hand holding throughout. She has been so empathetic and upfront. The process was smooth and very quick. If I could describe the perfect Letting Agent, it would be her! If I could have given 10 stars I would have, undoubtedly!

They did a wonderful job marketing our property, with beautiful photographs and a virtual tour that really showcased our home.<br><br>They also marketed the property we were purchasing and were brilliant throughout the process. They were prompt in responding to our questions via the WhatsApp group they set up for us, transparent in their communication, and proactive in chasing updates and helping coordinate the chain.<br><br>We’re really grateful for all their hard work and would happily recommend them to others!

From the very beginning, everyone we dealt with was professional, friendly and incredibly helpful.<br><br>A special thank you to Ewan, who kept us regularly updated throughout the process and worked hard to make sure everything continued moving forward as quickly as possible. Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.

I spoke to a lovely lady in the office who was fantastically accommodating and arranged a viewing within 20 minutes of my phone enquiry.<br><br>I was met at the property by Terri, who is apparently one of the owners. I loved the house, which was listed for between £350,000 - £375,000. I made an offer there and then of £361,000. She asked if I could increase anymore but couldn’t.<br><br>I then phoned my partner about it and wanted to arrange a second viewing for Saturday morning. I phoned Terri and refused to book a second viewing until after the weekend, “if other viewers offered more”. I said she was basing a lot of the conversation on an “if”, especially given our particularly desirable buying position. She reluctantly arranged the viewing.<br><br>When my partner arrived to view the property this morning she was there again and made a point of telling him that she was only doing the viewing as a favour to me and that unless we could raise our budget, we couldn’t afford it…OUR OFFER WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ASKING PRICE!!<br><br>My partner was dressed in a hoodie and shorts as he works in a suit 6 days a week and felt particularly judged by this woman. She is vile. If she’s the owner, then how this agent is still in business is completely beyond me!!
