He was super helpful with all of our needs during our time there and always went above and beyond if we had an issues or questions. He was responsive, transparent, always on hand when needed and got our sale over the line. So yes I would highly recomend using Bigmove

27th Jan 2026 (23 weeks ago)If I could give no stars I would. Will, who said he was the manager of the two Hackney branches, really could not manage a rice pudding. He was enthusiastic until the sale was agreed and then didn't want to bother with any communicating thereafter. He gave the clear impression that he just needed to sit back, do nothing more and wait for the commission to role. He gave clear indications that he did not have time to try and help progress the sale because he was too busy trying to make other property sales. I came away with the definite idea that Dexters work on agreeing as many sales as they possibly can and then do nothing thereafter and keep their fingers crossed that the sale completes. They work on quantity of sales and not quality of service. What Will does not take into account is that buying and selling is very stressful for the buyers and sellers and part of the agents job should be to be very active in progressing the sale and keeping in communication with other agents and the buyers and sellers until the sale is complete. Avoid listing your property for sale with Dexters to avoid disappointment.

22nd Jun 2026 (13 days ago)Very poor experience from start to finish. I called on Saturday and was told they would check with the current tenants and arrange a viewing. They booked me in for 15:00, but when I called to confirm they went silent and stopped responding.<br><br>I chased again on Monday and they rearranged the viewing for 13:15. I arrived at 13:17. As I pulled up in my car the agent was already leaving, and we made eye contact. It was obvious I was there for the property, yet he carried on walking off, later claiming he assumed I wasn't coming. He couldn't wait even two minutes. When he finally came back to show me the property, he was abrupt, barely spoke to me, and gave the impression he had no interest in showing it at all.<br><br>When I asked about any flexibility on the rent, he told me he already had four other offers, all at the full asking price of £1,375, and that all four had already paid deposits.<br><br>Afterwards I messaged to ask about the council tax and to let them know I liked the property and wanted to put in an offer. Again, no reply. They simply ghosted me.<br><br>A complete lack of basic customer service and common courtesy. I would not recommend dealing with this agency.

Throughout the sale, many stressful problems and unexpected issues occurred, but they remained calm, professional, and determined to find solutions every step of the way. Their experience, dedication, and positive attitude gave me confidence, even during the most difficult moments.<br><br>Kim and Kerry kept me updated regularly, answered every question promptly, and worked tirelessly to ensure the sale continued moving forward. What stands out most is their maintenance management; any time we had an issue in the apartment, they quickly sent contractors to handle repairs. They have also been very flexible with our needs over the years. A truly professional team.
5th Jun 2026 (30 days ago)We've just bought a house through Alexander Rose Estates and honestly couldn't have asked for more. Smooth from first viewing right through to completion. Tobias and Irina were both brilliant - thorough, quick to respond and on top of every detail. They kept us in the loop at every stage, chased things before we even had to ask, and made what's normally a stressful process feel easy. Their local knowledge of E20 is brilliant too - they know the area inside out and that made a real difference in helping us find the right place. They even put us in touch with solicitors who were just as good to deal with - and the whole thing went so smoothly, which isn't something you can usually say when buying a property. Genuinely professional, honest and a pleasure throughout - felt like we were in safe hands the whole way. Can't recommend Tobias, Irina and the team highly enough. Five stars from us and a big thank you for getting us into our new home.

Generally return calls quickly , except, when trying to terminate the sales contract. Produced all most nothing in the agree sales period. Would not remotely recommend, I’m afraid.

They were really fast with their responses and Nick was especially brilliant in sorting everything out and giving advice. I would recommend them to anyone looking to rent or to let. Thank you

I’ve called a number of times with questions, he always picks up and comes back to me promptly if he needs to look into it. It’s been a very straightforward process given how competitive the rental market is at the moment. Would highly recommend!
