18th Mar 2026 (0 days ago)To be fair the office team were great and supportive. The valuation team I would say operated with double standards and had a conflict of interest which went against us as the vendor. In short why tell us a price we could get. A price if we wanted to sell quickly and then when asked again by a builder that we asked to do a part exchange with. You tell them a quick sale price of nearly £80k less than you told us. Very odd. One could be forgiven for thinking that it was intentional in order to not loose us and our sale commission value. Cynical? Maybe. But instinct and intelligence tells me otherwise.
1st Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Would highly recommend using Brown and cockerill if you’re buying or selling a property. From start to finish they were very friendly ,professional and a pleasure to work with and just can’t fault their commitment to making the whole process go as smooth as possible. A special mention to Luke for all his hard work who went above and beyond for us throughout . I would also like to thank Ellie for her role in the process keeping us updated and her communication throughout and the rest of the team who made a stressfull situation a pleasant one . Wouldn’t use any other agent . Many thanks
6th Mar 2026 (12 days ago)We sold our house through Fine & Country. Liz Teasdale and Nicola Lorraine held our hands every step of the way. They promptly answered any queries we had, were reassuring when the process was at its most pedantic and calmed us down when we were stressed. From the superb photos taken at the start, all the way through the whole process Nicola and Liz were professional and attentive and we cannot recommend them highly enough. They might be slightly more expensive than other Estate Agents but they were worth every penny. So glad we used Liz and Nicola.
17th Feb 2026 (29 days ago)I have to say what an amazing experience i have had dealing with Stamford's Newton Fallowell estate agents , they came highly recommended and certainly lived up to my expectation . Henry Warren priced my property on the mark , I needed a offer on the table through a time constraint placed on me , I had a total of 14 viewings , 3 separate offers and it sold in 5 weeks , it sold for over the asking price which came down to a good marketing strategy from Henry , I took his advice from the start and it all worked out for me perfectly . The communication was there from the start they kept me up to date with everything that was happening in the process , totally professional and with great advice when I asked for it, the whole team worked really hard for me and they delivered . I honestly cannot thank them enough and would absolutely recommend then to anyone in the housing market .

15th Nov 2025 (18 weeks ago)Nicole Ashenden at Howkins in Daventry made the whole process a breeze. Excellent communication throughout, from arranging the viewings through to negotiating the lease and even suggesting local walks and pubs. Would highly recommend ????
5th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)I have recently moved into a property mid contract. An agreement was made with all parties involved to change the names on the contract and arrangements to do this out in place. However since moving in; one of the original names is yet to have been taken off and i am yet to be offered a new contract. With multiple attempts to address this it has only come to light now, after a new contract should be in place, exactly what the issues are. There are inconsistencies with the messages received from shipways and a lack of communication from them.

Rebbeca, Kerry and Jamie assisted us with the purchase and mortgage, the service they provided was beyond what we could ever have expected and I can't recommend these people enough. If your buying or selling in the Thrapston area then look no further than Shaman Quinney.
28th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)I recently contacted William H Brown due to interest on a property I had seen and I was greeted on the phone with Eleanor. From that very first communication, Eleanor was incredible!! She was friendly, approachable and incredibly helpful. She bent over backwards to help me! I rang up for one property and several hours later Eleanor had us viewing 5 incredible properties. One of which ended up being “the one” she was happy and friendly through your the entire viewing time and with a great sense of humour! She is an asset to your team and we as a family are truly grateful for all of her help and support!! Thank you so very much Eleanor!

Richard Slater and Sam were particularly helpful, especially on the day the buyers took ownership as we we unable to be at the property to hand over the keys ourselves. We also let a property with Lucas, and the lettings team are also first class. Thank you!

Their communication was fantastic, the whole process was smooth and easy, they went above and beyond to assist us with any queries, they were friendly, honest and quite frankly, excellent all round. Jamie supported us during the early stages of our purchase and was incredibly helpful throughout. He was always responsive, reassuring, and took the time to guide us through the process, which made a big difference at what can be quite a stressful time. Clare helped us during the later stages and did a great job coordinating communication with the sellers and keeping the process moving. She was proactive in following up on both sides and clearly worked hard to help progress things as smoothly as possible. Overall, we really appreciated their professionalism, responsiveness, and support during the purchase. Thank you both for helping us get over the line!
