12th Jun 2026 (24 days ago)The worst estate agents I have ever come across and so unprofessional, I would not recommend using these EVER ! if this estate agents was the last place I had to use I would not use . Rented a house from them not going to mention where , but it was problem after problem it made mine and my partners life hell we lasted 6 months at the property . When I first viewed it I asked if the property suffered with mould I got told no , few months later the property was covered in mould and my partner ended up with mould poisoning. The day I handed the keys back I got told that the estate was not going to rent this property out to anybody ever again , not even two months later and the property is back on their page for rent again suprise suprise we got LIED to again . I’m actually shocked with the lack of professionalism of this estate agents . So no I wouldn’t recommend we just got messed about by these . I would not use this place unless you want to get lied to in person or messed around . Absolute joke of a place !

A huge thank you to Emma Sherwin, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. As first-time buyers, everything felt quite overwhelming at times, but Emma was always patient, supportive, and quick to answer any questions we had. She kept us updated every step of the way and made the whole journey feel much less stressful. Her professionalism, communication, and genuine care really stood out, and we always felt like we were in safe hands. We’re so grateful for all her help in making our first home purchase such a positive experience. Highly recommend Bairstow Eves, especially Emma Sherwin!

In particular Sarah Rhodes was fab, always available to speak to and nothing was too much trouble. We've dealt with other agents along the way and found that Sarah and the team were the best and would definately use them again in the future if we need to:)

They all worked really hard to ensure the sale of my property was a success following previous disappointment. The communication and attention to detail through the sale process was of a high quality. I was anxious but there was reassurance and honesty throughout the process. The staff team were all very helpful. But special mention for Alan Heys and Claire Dack. Both have know me a lot time and gave that extra personal touch. Excellent service. I would highly recommend the branch.

1st Jul 2026 (5 days ago)Shaun and his team where extremely helpfull and kind throughtout, what sets him apart from the other is the knowledge and understanding of the local area and there ability to value properties not just based on the village but down to the street. One chriticism is the office is a little out of site and I found was ofton closed but I put this down to the team being small busy team. No big issue.
22nd Mar 2026 (15 weeks ago)Associate director consciously chose to breach trust rendering my relationship with the company as both a seller and buyer, completely untenable. My interests were entirely secondary as demonstrated by their actions. I received assurances they weren’t prepared to uphold, was made promises they weren’t prepared to keep and set expectations they weren’t prepared to follow through. Avoid this estate agent and use one of the many others available.

She supported us every step of the way through the mortgage process, making what could have been overwhelming feel straightforward and manageable. She took the time to explain everything clearly and was always happy to slow things down whenever we felt unsure. Her approach is truly personalised, and you never feel like just another client. She is warm, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable, which made us feel completely at ease throughout the whole process. From when Lesley came out and did the valuation, then i dealt with Jo, Emily and Mark in branch.<br><br>What a fantastic team. Everything from start to finish 16 weeks. We received weekly updates. Any help we needed they were there. Nothing was too much trouble. Really friendly team.<br><br>Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bairstoweves Kirkby to anyone.
