Our first home fell through and Danielle was immediately there to support us through the process again. She ensured that we were kept informed of progress throughout and was always very responsive to our emails. We would highly recommend her for all mortgaging needs.

They have delivered an impressive service so far and made moving a lot more stress free. We have dealt with Laura and Alex and another very nice lady. They have been brilliant.

31st Jul 2026 (24 days ago)I have been working with Connor O’Hara over the past few months to find a property in Woodingdean. Connor has been a stellar agent with great communication. He has identified properties that closely match what I am looking for, and hasn't been pushing for properties outside my search (which is common among agents and can be frustrating). He has been flexible with viewings and maintained good communication via regular phone calls. He has also always had hand-outs with particulars to share upon viewing properties, and brought additional particulars for my family members when they came along for second viewings. Connor is very professional, friendly, understanding, and responsive.
12th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)1 STAR – VERY DISAPPOINTING CUSTOMER SERVICE<br><br>I contacted Wards Broadstairs regarding a £1,550 per month apartment at Gallery Walk in Margate. I was genuinely interested in the property and simply wanted to ask a few questions before deciding whether to arrange a viewing.<br><br>Unfortunately, the way I was spoken to by the member of staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. I was made to feel as though I was wasting her time simply by asking questions. I was told that I would need to earn approximately £47,000 per year to qualify. I explained that my income is around £45,000 and asked whether there were any alternative options, such as a guarantor, but there seemed to be absolutely no willingness to discuss this.<br><br>I completely understand that letting agents have affordability criteria and checks to follow. That is not my complaint. My complaint is the attitude and lack of basic customer service.<br><br>I am a local resident and a business owner with two businesses in Margate, and I was genuinely looking to rent locally. With rental properties sitting empty because of high asking prices, I would expect an estate agent to at least speak to potential tenants respectfully and professionally.<br><br>A few simple questions should not feel like an interrogation.<br><br>Very disappointing experience with Wards Broadstairs. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because customers should be treated with respect even when they may not immediately meet a particular affordability calculation.

15th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)The best Letting & Management Agency I came across. Entire staff is so responsive, accommodating and very helpful overall. Any maintenance issues reported were responded very quickly, I have had worst experiences with other Agencies out there (don't want to name them). During my move-out also, they were so accommodating in keys handover to issues raised in cleaning, etc. Overall, had a very good experience with them, I would any day refer them to anyone.

14th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)I made an enquiry relating to the recent successful sale of my (non UK resident) brother's apartment by MIles & Barr's Birchington Office. It was for Capital Gains Tax purposes, and I was anticipating a laborious process, as with most things these days. My call was taken by Tom, a Senior Branch Manager, who explained what he could do. Within a very short time, he emailed the information requested, in the format required. I was very pleased with this rapid and efficient response for what was a 'non mainstream' question on a very hot August day. He is truly an asset to the business, so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We have used Miles & Barr for a number of transactions now and they have always been very successful.

17th Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)We met Alexandra when she showed us round another home we were looking at and were immediately struck by her manner - friendly, honest and very knowledgeable - she knows her market really well. We decided to then use Alexandra to market our house, which was a decision we are so happy we made. The marketing she provides is far superior to other agents which definitely showed in the interest she achieved for our house. She got an amazing amount of viewings booked in and found a great buyer. We were incredibly lucky that she also arranged our purchase as well. House buying can be incredibly stressful, especially when you have to chase people down for answers and responses, Alexandra managed all this beautifully and made the process much easier than it should have been. I have already recommended her to family members and friends and will continue to do so. We can’t thank her enough.

7th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)I was mostly looked after by the wonderful Milly Orchard at Fulfords. (And, on the occassion I called when she was out, by Tammy, who was also wonderfully warm and helpful!). Milly was incredibly helpful, friendly and professional while I had to sort everything out on a crunched timescale for finding and moving in to a new place as a tenant, and helped me every step of the way to get into my new, wonderful place to live. Some of the usual process was complex in my case - difficulty accessing documents, having changed my name - but Milly was incredibly helpful in letting me know what we could do, how to do it, and generally keeping me informed and reassured as we figured it all out. It would have been infinitely more stressful without knowing I was in Milly’s hands, and she’s an absolute credit to Fulfords. Absolutely delighted by my move, and Fulfords were wonderful every step of the way. Moving can be so hectic and stressful, and they were wonderful, professional, helpful, and most of all amidst the stress of moving, every interaction felt warm and human and kind.
