I spoke to him, viewed the property, and everything was completed within the same day. Paperwork sorted and agreements signed. I honestly couldn’t believe how smooth it was. Even when he was put in an uncomfortable situation, through no fault of his own, he handled it extremely professionally, which helped me feel comfortable as well. A real credit to his role. Thank you.

3rd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.
2nd Mar 2026 (17 days ago)Every nightmare story you've ever heard about an estate agent is personified in these guys. Everyone I've spoken to who has dealt with them has had the worst experiences they've ever had renting. Imagine an estate agent actively trying to undermine and overcharge you at every corner while talking down to you and deliberately flouting the meagre renters rights we have in this country. Lottie and Valerija in particular offer some deeply, concerningly poor "customer service".

20th Feb 2026 (27 days ago)I strongly advise against doing business with this estate agency.<br><br>They currently manage my mum’s property and have withheld tenant funds without any clear or lawful justification, which is deeply concerning. Additionally, they introduced a tenant who is now using the property for a rent-to-rent arrangement, despite being under an AST agreement.<br><br>The situation has escalated further, as the tenant has set up what appears to be an HMO which goes against the clauses of the AST and is now attempting to pressure my mum into covering costs (such as installing a fire door) to make the property compliant.<br><br>Communication has also been highly unprofessional and slow. Afsheen has been consistently disrespectful on the phone and has ended calls abruptly when I have tried to resolve these issues. Nyala is slow and doesn’t answer requests in a timely manner. Furthermore, there has been a refusal to provide tenant details required for us to proceed with an eviction notice, causing unnecessary delays.<br><br>Overall, my experience has been extremely negative. I would strongly caution others to think carefully before engaging with this agency.

Acorn lettings have been so helpful, responsive and friendly. They love their job so much the really go above and beyond without realising. I can totally relate! They moved quickly to get the photos live which helped generate viewings, and they kept me in the loop consistently with updates on feedback, interest levels, and next steps. What stood out most was how proactive they were — they didn’t just “list it and hope,” they actually drove things forward. I’d happily recommend them.

The service was excellent from start to finish, with clear communication and regular updates throughout the entire process. I've tried reaching out to you but you never answer left messages for Eric and Ezgi - UNPROFESSIONAL I understand you and some members where off sick but everytime I drove past your office I could see everyone in the office present and working just not answering my call or messages which makes it more unprofessional . I did CALL and try reach out to you and still no response i left whats app messages on two seperate occasions and two different people still no response so from my point of view I was certainly patient and went above and beyond to try get a response from you which never came until I left a review then the response came instantly My main purpose was to sell the property and whilst working with you I felt the only thing you wanted to do was rent my property out for short let's at rock bottom prices which I certainly said no too especially at the low ball figures you offered me( very low figures borderline disturbing) I'm glad I got my property sold with another agent I believe being honest and transparent is very important in this field which I believe in my opinion I didn't receive from you as an agent We all make mistakes if you owned the mistake and apolisged for ignoring me then we could have resolved this Instanly but to say people where sick when I could see them working in the office has certainly left me disappointed in my humble opinion

28th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)Fuse box was burning and nothing was done after reporting several times, had to call fire brigade 2 days later, whereby they confirmed it was still a massive fire risk (Truepennys did not act when 15 people’s lives were at risk due to a serious fire hazard). I was put in a temporary room with no power, light, heating during cold temperatures outside (I was freezing - -1 degrees outside) - and instead of helping they ceased to act on my behalf, and cancelled the contract. This left me with no one to communicate with, as they refused to speak to me on the phone from thereon after. I was left in a flat with no power and me and my girlfriend had to sleep at a friend’s house, as it did not seem safe but TruePennys didn’t care. The directors refused to speak to me after agreeing to call me back 5 times - truly shameful and Truepennys should be really disappointed with how they treat people. They never reply on emails or on the phone. They are now refusing to release my security deposit and ignoring emails. This along with mice issues, bathroom smells and dodgy fridges and ovens which were reported for the entirety of our tenancy and nothing was done. However, not responding to a life threatening incident is disgusting by all accounts.

All the agents we met were personable, friendly and professional, but most importantly they got the job done!

Jake always took the time to answer my questions (there were so many!) and keep me updated. His knowledge of the local area and attention to detail made everything feel straightforward and stress-free. I could not recommend him more to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.
