30th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)Its not worth even giving 1 star as the property they are letting or they are managing, they are unable to solve single issue even after 8 months. Every time they just gives answer that they are following with landlord. I would not recommend anyone to go with this agent. As they promise they will do everything and till that day of your moving they will put into delusion and after moving they dont care you will put into queue for months like I mentioned above.<br><br>Even the five star review I believe they might asked there friends to put as this guys are not worth for 2 star for responding.

At first I was very enthusiastic then I have noticed I have very few views since I've used them as sales agents I started to question them why it is so? they responded as I have to lower my price which I am not happy to do so, then I called numerous times to ask questions about very little viewings on my property all I can get is just a busy ring tone and nobody is answering it. At the end I have told them to pull down my property listing which they didn't do and until now they are posting my property without my consent on the property website then just as of today' I received a letter that there is an interested buyer for my property and they're asking if I am using an agent I have a doubt they could be the one soliciting if I've moved on with a different agent. I have lost confidence in them I wont use them again.

My property was priced realistically and the property sold quickly as it was marketed to the correct selection of buyers and the sale went through smoothly . Overall a good experience selling though Curchods.

It was clear he truly cared about getting things right for us. Estate agents often get a bad name, but Mark is the real deal — a refreshing exception who actually puts people first.

They also work so well as a team in the Dorking branch, offering support whenever needed in a process that is never straightforward, but their knowledge and guidance was so helpful throughout. Highly recommend.

Josh really listened to what I liked/disliked and consistently followed up with relevant properties and viewings over several weeks. Before the viewing, I had noticed that an identical listing through another agency, Leaders, had already been marked as “Let Agreed.” As the two listings appeared to be exactly the same flat, I raised this concern with the Connells agent during the viewing. He reassured me that the property was still available and suggested that the Leaders listing must have been for a different flat in the building.<br>Based on this information, we submitted an offer that same evening. The following day, Connells sent us paperwork to complete and sign, clearly identifying the property we had viewed. We were even told that we could potentially move in from 29th June. On Monday, when we called for an update, we were told that they were waiting to speak to the landlord and that we would soon be able to pay the deposit.<br>However, today (23rd June), after chasing for another update, we were finally informed that there had been a miscommunication between the agencies and that the flat had actually already been let through Leaders before we even attended the viewing.<br>This was incredibly frustrating. Not only was our time wasted, but our hopes were raised unnecessarily over several days. At multiple points, we were led to believe that the property was available and that our application was progressing, when in reality it had already been taken.<br>To make matters worse, the agency is still actively advertising the property, which only adds to the confusion and suggests that the listing has not been properly updated or managed.<br>Arranging viewings outside of standard working hours has also been extremely difficult. It’s ironic that those of us working full-time to meet the income requirements needed to rent these properties seem to have the hardest time accessing viewings in the first place.<br>Mistakes can happen, but better communication between agencies and more accurate information being given to prospective tenants would have prevented a very disappointing experience.
1st Jul 2026 (8 days ago)We initially dealt with Lauren at Chancellors, as we were selling our property, but a change in circumstances meant that we could re-let the property. Lauren was brilliant and helped us whilst we were trying to evict our tenants. She then passed us over to Brooke from the lettings team once our plans changed.<br><br>Brooke has been amazing. She understood the previous issues with tenants, and was sympathetic to our anxiety in finding new tenants. She understood that we were concerned about a repeat of what had occurred previously. Brooke kept us both informed of viewings at the property, feedback received, offers that were put in. When we rejected the offers for various reasons, she trusted our judgment and continued working hard to establish new leads.<br><br>We felt that we were in safe hands throughout our entire dealings with Brooke. She is very personable, and is generally great to deal with, either by phone, email, text or in person. She clearly knows what she’s doing with lettings, she worked with both sides to ensure we were happy and we are so relieved that we waited a little longer to find the right tenant. Brooke has been excellent from start to finish, no question was too silly, and when we did have a slight hurdle towards the end, she didn’t just say there was a problem, she came with a solution and didn’t just leave it to us to deal with. I can’t say enough positive things about her involvement, professional, polite, easy to get on with and she had our trust from the outset. She didn’t promise and under-deliver, she did everything she said she would, and in a timely and efficient manner. Thanks again Brooke.

28th Jun 2026 (11 days ago)I contacted Kings Estate Agents after seeing them advertise that they were actively looking for properties to sell. I asked if they would represent my home, only to receive a haughty email to say that my Property didn’t reach The calibre of the kind of property they wanted to market and they were at capacity only wanting to focus on premium properties.<br><br>I found this both surprising and disappointing. My property is a well-presented two-bedroom ground floor conversion with off-road parking in a desirable central Tunbridge Wells location, and Kings regularly market similar properties. To make matters more confusing, the very next day I saw them advertising on Facebook asking for more properties to sell.<br><br>I completely understand that every estate agent has the right to choose which instructions they take on. However, I was left feeling disregarded and that my property wasn’t worthy of their time. A more considerate and transparent explanation would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend them.

26th Jun 2026 (13 days ago)We have now started renting out flat with Barnard Marcus Estate Agents and it has been an extremely smooth process.<br><br>Since the day we did the viewing it all went great, they have been extremely responsive with us and had great communication, specially with Rodrigo Varela who has guided us through the whole process, compared to other estate agents that just push you for your money Barnard Marcus has been the most empathetic with us.
