From start to finish, the team was professional, responsive and a pleasure to deal with. A special mention goes to Alex, the Letting Manager, and Trevor, the Administrator & Coordinator Manager. Both were extremely knowledgeable and experienced, which gave me full confidence throughout the process. They clearly know the market inside out and handled everything efficiently, keeping me updated at every stage. Thanks to Alex and Trevor, the whole letting process was smooth and stress-free. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cedar Estate to any landlord looking for reliable and expert support.
7th Nov 2025 (9 mo. ago)After months of mismanagement, overcharging, and broken promises, KFH have now gone one step further — quietly deducting unauthorised fees after confirming in writing that no further charges would be made. They re-labelled their management fee as a “4% rent collection fee” for November, despite acknowledging their management role had ceased, and added new “Rent & Legal Protection” charges we never agreed to. These deductions were made after we had made clear in writing that no further fees were to be taken. Although earlier management fees were finally refunded, KFH continue to act in bad faith by introducing new, invented costs. Their conduct has been deceptive, contradictory, and utterly unprofessional. We will continue to post updates until all unauthorised charges have been refunded.

I live 120 miles away and dealing with needs and expectations of the various tenants were at times, quite demanding. Marianne seemed to take all of this in her stride and we've had a good working relationship.<br>I would have carried on but advancing age and recent changes in legislation have persuaded me to sell the property. I have no hesitation in recommending both Mortemore Mackey and Marianne.

He was punctual, professional, friendly and incredibly reassuring throughout the viewings. Junior took the time to explain the current market situation clearly and honestly, which I found extremely helpful. He was well prepared, supportive, understanding, and always happy to answer my questions. His knowledge, professionalism, and approachable manner really made a difference and made the whole experience much less stressful. Thank you, Junior, for all your help and support – it was truly appreciated!

Every step was handled smoothly — from the first viewing, to negotiations, to the final handover — and I always felt fully informed and confident in the decisions I was making.What stood out most was Charlie’s communication and reliability. He was always available to answer questions, kept me updated without me ever having to chase, and made what can be a stressful journey feel straightforward and well?managed. His attention to detail and genuine care for his clients really shows.I’m extremely happy with my new home, and I’m grateful for the effort Charlie put in to make the purchase seamless. They have always been highly responsive to both general queries and to any maintenance required. Grantley always kept us informed of emergency contacts over the holidays, and proactively informed us of upcoming changes to the letting process/legislation. House visits were organised well in advance, allowing us our privacy. Highly recommended!

31st Jul 2026 (28 days ago)I was disappointed with the level of communication throughout my experience.<br><br>After submitting an offer on a property, I repeatedly had to chase for updates. On several occasions I was told the negotiator was unavailable and that I should call back later. I wasn’t kept informed about whether my offer had been presented or what the seller’s response was, and I felt I had to do all the chasing rather than being updated proactively.<br><br>Most of the staff I spoke to were polite and professional. However, my experience with Winston was very disappointing. While I was trying to explain my concerns, he repeatedly talked over me instead of listening. I also felt that the call ended abruptly, as he put the phone down before I had finished explaining my point. That left me feeling frustrated and that my concerns were not being taken seriously.<br><br>Buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions most people make, and clear, respectful communication is essential. Even if there is no update from the seller, a simple phone call or email to keep buyers informed would make a significant difference.<br><br>I hope the branch takes this feedback on board and improves both its communication and customer service.

17th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)I had a very disappointing experience. Even though I informed them in advance that we would be delayed due to traffic, they assured us that it was fine. However, the person conducting the viewing left without waiting for us. When I called to explain, he even said he had seen the two of us rushing towards the property, yet he still chose not to wait. Overall, it was a very frustrating and unprofessional experience.

Kian, Fiona and the team have been super helpful during the entire process (which was not an easy and quick one because the house was under probate). Kian kept us informed all throughout the process with great communication and being a go-between us and the seller to try and move things along as swiftly and quickly as possible. We would definitely recommend.

1st Aug 2026 (27 days ago)Landlords Beware, I was charged for a second year commission for the same tenants, this had not been made clear in the let only Terms of business instead it was put on a separate invoice in small writing at the bottom that a 6% charge will apply if the tenants stayed on, this is in contrast to the initial email I received from the director advising Let only fee will be paid once upfront. I was expecting to pay only £250 for a contract renewal instead I was charged £1680 for the second year. They are not transparent with their fees. They referred to additional assistance that had been provided during the tenancy. However, I did not request or agree to purchase any services beyond the Let Only instruction, and I was never informed that any assistance offered would later be relied upon as justification for the second-year commission such as rent increase or reconciliation of rent, this was undertaken voluntarily by them. This experience has highlighted the importance of transparency when landlords are entering into contracts.
