27th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)Started off with a very good experience with Sahar who dealt with our mortgage! However once house was gone under offer and towards completion, we was not kept up to date, missed phone calls, emails ignored and nor replied to for weeks by Sarah, when called to ask about it she was always “busy” and colleagues would not pass the phone onto her. After being chased for completion from our end and everything was signed off from our side, we heard no response for weeks… when we started to raise the issue we was kept in the dark as “they don’t know what is taking long” but didn’t want to contact the sellers solicitor. After we said we would not go ahead with purchase then they let us know house will be ready in August which initially was meant to be completed by end of May. I see many other people have a great experience which is great but we had one of the worst experience and we felt the way our emails were responded to were also a little unprofessional.
27th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)This letting agent has been managing a property for me however, over the past few years they have failed to conduct any site visits to inspect the property even though this is a requirement of their service agreement and whenever I call them, they never answer the phone. If you are a landlord and want to instruct a letting agent to manage your property, better to look elsewhere as I have now switched to a different letting agent.
9th Jun 2026 (26 days ago)I’ve rented a few properties and these were by far the best letting agents I’ve dealt with! I had to pleasure of meeting Lucy and Kelly who were both lovely. I predominantly spoke to Kelly who was so friendly and had excellent communication. If/when I next move I will definitely aim to go with Peter James again!

4th Mar 2026 (18 weeks ago)I had mixed personal reviews prior to my contacting Dourish and Day but I will NOT using them to sell my property as I'm appalled at the "it's not my job" attitude. I will be contacting the estate agency that sold my parents bungalow as they were proactive and cheaper fees! They refused to let myself, or my property agency, know the date/times of Dourish and Day availability for a valuation so an appointment could be arranged with my tenant. They also refused to make ONE phone call and contact the tenant directly as Dourish and Day had misunderstood what my tenant had said upon initial contact. My agent informed me that they have tried making contact but are awaiting a response from Dourish and Day which Dourish and Day have denied. When I requested an update this is the response "We will not move forward until they call us with the tenants availability for us to attend as it is their responsibility to clear things with them."
