22nd Oct 2025 (21 weeks ago)The worst letting agency out there. Getting them to support the tenant with anything is like pulling teeth. We’ve been asking and filing requests for over 4 months to have Connells send one to take a look at our kitchen sink, and it still hasn’t happened. They keep passing blame around to building maintenance, to the landlord, but never actually taking any action to support the tenant. On top of that, the communication comes whenever Connells feels like it. They set response timelines which are rarely adhered to and even when they do communicate, it’s nothing of substance. Avoid at all costs!

From start to finish, the whole process was incredibly smooth and stress-free.<br><br>Communication was excellent throughout. A special thank you to Nick, who I dealt with directly. He was super helpful, friendly, and professional at every stage. Nothing was too much trouble, and he made sure everything moved along efficiently.<br><br>I can’t recommend Aubury and Finn enough if you’re looking to rent. A genuinely great experience from a reliable and supportive team.

5th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)Our house move took a year due to a long chain and even before the chain started to form, in the process of looking at properties we ended up speaking with what felt like every local agency there is in Hertfordshire. Collinson Hall were easy to reach, they had a proactive approach to communicating with us throughout and it feels like they took the lead amongst the various agents in our 7-vender chain which I appreciated. Michèle Austin was the contact we worked most closely with and she was professional throughout and guided us through the ups and downs, as the chain evolved through the 11.5 months from property viewing to completion.

Anyone going through the renting or buying process would be in a very safe pair of hands working with Martin & Co. They are experts and know the industry extremely well. In addition to the massive expertise, another thing worth highlighting is how nice and helpful the team was to me. THANK YOU Mandy, Tom and Claire for your kindness and fantastic work done. Also, very few Estate Agents have a website as well designed as the website of Martin & Co. Both processes of renting or buying a property are really complex, and I found very useful the wealth of advice provided in the website, about the key steps in either renting or buying a property. By far one of the best websites I saw after checking dozen of websites from other estate agents. Best wishes to the Martin and Co team in the St Albans branch, moving forward if I come across anyone in need of a Estate Agent, I will be happy to recommend Martin & Co.

5th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)????? I cannot recommend Oliver & Akers highly enough, especially Wendy, who was absolutely outstanding throughout my home-buying journey. After searching for around six months and viewing multiple properties with different estate agents, I still hadn’t found the right place. I then made an online enquiry about a property that had unfortunately already been sold but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because that’s when Wendy stepped in. From that moment on, Wendy went above and beyond. She took the time to truly understand exactly what I was looking for in terms of price, location, and the type of home I wanted. Thanks to her dedication and persistence, she helped me secure the ideal flat in the right location, at the right price, and without any stress. Wendy was incredibly supportive before, during, and even after the purchase. She was always responsive, professional, approachable, and genuinely cared about making the entire process smooth and hassle-free. If you’re looking for an estate agent who listens, delivers, and goes the extra mile, I would 100% recommend Oliver & Akers. Kris was extremely efficient and handled the viewings professionally, keeping everything running smoothly. Tracie acted as our sales progressor and kept us regularly updated throughout the entire process, which made what can often be a stressful experience feel very well managed. We couldn’t fault the service and would happily recommend Cassidy & Tate to anyone selling their home.

23rd Feb 2026 (23 days ago)Very disappointing experience with this agency. Communication from their representative, Josh, was unnecessarily argumentative and lacked professionalism. Reasonable requests regarding suitable viewing times were inaccurately presented as a refusal. As a tenant, I remained cooperative, yet the tone and approach taken made the process stressful and uncomfortable. Professionalism and respectful communication should be standard practice in any property agency. However, he was lack of them. In this case, Josh clearly fell short of these standards. In contrast, my communication with Jena was professional, polite, and respectful. She arranged viewings appropriately and approached matters in a courteous manner, which made cooperation much easier. Professional and respectful communication makes a significant difference, and I hope this agency ensures consistency across its team. Update in response to the agency’s reply: I stand by my review, as it reflects my genuine experience. I have retained screenshots of the communication between Joshua and myself, including responses that I found dismissive and unprofessional, such as the use of a laughing emoji when I mentioned raising a complaint. This understandably gave the impression that my concerns were not being taken seriously. For clarity, two viewings were successfully conducted at the property with my agreement. This clearly demonstrates that I was cooperative and did not refuse access. As a working tenant, I simply requested reasonable availability within my schedule, which is entirely within my legal rights. Leaving a review on Google is also my right as a consumer when I feel my experience does not reflect the standards described in your response. Should the matter require independent review, I am comfortable referring it to The Property Ombudsman so that an impartial assessment can determine whether the communication met appropriate professional standards. I remain willing to cooperate within reasonable and respectful boundaries. However, I do not wish to continue communication with Joshua and request that future arrangements are handled by another respectful representative.
