Although the office is not usually open on a Saturday he kindly came out for us to do a viewing on two separate occasions and allowed us to have a good look around without any rush. Efficient communication via email and phone which led to us being in our new home and nicely settled!

Boiler has been replaced in exact time and date as planned with lots of support over the phone prior to the plumbing work and after. Thank you!

10th Mar 2026 (8 days ago)We recently dealt with Daniel Singleton at Leaders Poole while purchasing our house, and the service we received was excellent from start to finish. Daniel was professional, easy to communicate with, and kept us well informed throughout the whole process. Buying a property can be stressful, but he made everything feel much smoother by being responsive, honest, and reliable whenever we had questions or needed updates. What really stood out was how trustworthy and genuine he was. He clearly cared about helping things progress and making sure everything was handled properly, which gave us a lot of confidence during the purchase. Overall, Daniel was a great person to deal with, and we’re very grateful for the help and support he gave us while buying our home. On the rare occasions where issues did come up, they were dealt with quickly and efficiently - it definitely made a real difference throughout my tenancy.
11th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)We were recommended Fahrens by friends who had used them before. Fahrens, especially Zak who we sold our property with were absolutely fantastic. We sold our flat and bought a house at the height of the pandemic in 2020/2021 with a newborn baby, such a stressful time but made less so by Zak. He was always there to answer questions, emails etc and was a great support. All the team at Fahrens are so lovely and never make you feel rushed when calling. They even helped us out when there was a leak in the flat above ours whilst we were on holiday by going to the flat on a Sunday to investigate. I can’t thank Fahrens and Zak enough for everything they did for us at that time. They sent our newborn a lovely card and present when she was born too. Estate agents that go above and beyond!

20th Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)A wholly unpleasant experience having to deal with Whites as tenants in a rental property. It didn't help that they were also trying to sell the property on behalf of the landlord so were always acting in their interests, and never in ours. We were good, professional tenants that never missed a payment, caused no trouble in 7 years and for the last 18 months had to contend with pigeons living in the roof. The noise and upset this caused us during our son's GCSE exam year was unbearable - not to mention a health hazard (confirmed by a pest controller). Because the landlord was selling the property and we were fed up with the pigeon situation we found another property to live in before we were given notice to leave. This didn't seem to please the landlord or Whites to the degree that despite thoroughly cleaning the property professionally and spending hundreds of pounds in the process, we were offered around £100 of our deposit back and this was after 2 months of chasing it after we moved out. It was claimed we did not clean the carpets, despite the landlord being at the property at the time and meeting the carpet cleaner at the time. (She subsequently phoned him up and verbally abused him but that's another story). The stress this caused us was horrendous. Presumably a ploy to milk us for all we were worth we eventually decided to hold out and supply evidence to the company that were holding the deposit and eventually got over 50% back just after Christmas - 4 months after we had moved out. Not once in any correspondance with my wife did Whites refer to her by her name (either a professional tactic to try and undermine and intimidate or just unbelievably rude), not once did they ever acknowledge making a mistake (such as not forwarding the landlord the cleaning receipts until 3 months later, not including attachments in emails and blaming us for not receiving them, not chasing up things at the landlord's end but pressuring us at our end). Judging by the comments by other aggrieved tenants they aren't likely to here either, just ignore the facts, never apologise and apportion blame elsewhere without taking any responsibility for their actions. It's not in their interests to admit any of this in their reply, so they won't. Reading other reviews I note that some tenants have had a similar unpleasant experience, but unlike them we weren't going to be bullied into just accepting an unfair amount of deposit back. My wife was even advised by Whites that she did not have to be present at the check out viewing which cost us a larger part of the deposit because we were unable to challenge any of the findings. "No evidence of carpet cleaning" was one of the findings which was an outright LIE that both the landlord AND Whites knew was false. "Perhaps you should contact the carpet cleaner to ask why it wasn't cleaned" I didn't have to because I was there. It was never in Whites' interest to be fair to us as they were not only being paid by the landlord to manage the property but as they were also selling it would've wanted to keep the landlord as happy as possible so they could gain their commission from the sale. So if you're a tenant (funnily enough not any positive reviews from them) I would avoid. Life isn't about how much you commission you may earn, or whether you own a house - treat people better. This process was not handled fairly at all - and you know that. We treated you with courtesy and kindness with every house viewing and property valuation you organised as well as every time you came to take photos of the property and yet the way you made my wife feel throughout this protracted process was awful.
22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I cannot say enough about V&H Homes and specifically Maria at the Ashtead Branch. While they are a smaller independent agent, they will absolutely give you the personalized service that an independent can provide. Give those big estate agents in Surrey a miss, take your business to V&H. The communication throughout the process was exemplary, the dedication to getting the sale was second to none. We had tried to sell previously with the usual suspects in Surrey and none of them could get the sale and it seemed hopeless, V&H got it done in 10 days! There were many times in our sale where things got rocky and Maria went well over and above day in and day out to ensure that everything went through. I truly believe that if we had went with another big establishment high street agent that our sale would not have happened. While Maria was absolutely amazing, we also had interactions with the other associates at Ashtead V&H Homes. When Maria was out of office our file was well looked after, the service didn’t slip at all which is very rare in a sales situation. As I said at the beginning of this review, I really can’t say enough about Maria and V&H. These days reviews are either 5* or 1* and it’s getting more and more difficult to sift through them to make a decision. This is 100% a genuine 5* review. Were there issues in the sales process, of course there were, we were selling a house. But it wasn’t about the issues, it was about how they were handled, the speed at which they were handled, and the fact that when something came up we were never left to worry, V&H were always just a phone call or e-mail away. Thank you so much Maria and V&H Homes for the personalized service and all the time and effort that you spent on our file. We absolutely owe our sale and the fact that we are snugly in our new home all to you! Very best regards, Danny

16th Jul 2025 (8 mo. ago)I've bought and sold several times and had experiences ranging from OK to utterly awful. I chose Michael Adam to sell a close relation's property, due to needing to move them into care. We chose the agent after getting three agents to value the house. Their valuation wasn't the highest, nor were their fees the cheapest but we instantly liked Stuart and Debbie and felt comfortable dealing with them, they made no outlandish claims and appeared to be genuine and straightforward. Having come out of the process and had time to reflect I thought I'd leave a review. At the time the market wasn't the best and the sale wasnt the quickest, but we had plenty of viewings and the property was quite quirky, which we'd already discussed. However the communications and discussions we had were always cordial, callbacks prompt and we were always kept in the loop. There was never any pressure to be pushed into decisions, I always felt it was a fully collaborative process, and I got genuinely useful and good advice, not pressure to sell quickly and at any price. The property did sell successfully and though we had a few bumps in the road (not caused by them) we got it across the line. I would wholeheartedly recommend them. And that's something I don't think I've ever said about an estate agent before!

11th Oct 2025 (23 weeks ago)I hadn’t heard of Stratton Oak Estates until contacting Getagent, and originally had them round only for a valuation. They were so professional and friendly and convinced me to give them a try. From start to finish they kept me fully informed of all viewings, and found a buyer very quickly. They have a very good online service to keep track of the sales progression, as well as regularly phoning and emailing. I have dealt with many Estate Agents over the years, but none have compared close to Stratton Oak Estates.

12th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)We had a great experience with Lloyd Young Homes and would highly recommend them to anyone. Everything was done with us in mind and not just getting the sale. We were kept informed of all and any developments and treated as if we were their only client. Very personable service from Lloyd and always very responsive to our many thoughts and ideas. After not moving for over 41 years Lloyd made this a relatively easy, pleasant experience. Lloyd also really made sure he knew all the details about our house so he could answer all questions put to him by any prospective buyers, which was not the same for several other estate agents in the area that we went to see properties with. So all in all a very positive and pleasant experience in something that is not always that easy to go through, and if want a more personal approach to selling your home, these are the guys to go with.

Stuart was a superstar through out the process and worked tirelessly to support the seller and indeed us and ensured the sale progressed as expected. He performed viewings without fault, went above an beyond and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Sadly we bought our forever home so we may not be using him anytime soon ????. Thanks Stuart.
2nd Mar 2026 (16 days ago)Highly recommend using Justyn, incredible man. We loved that he was the sole agent to talk to which made it more personal and meaningful to us, we weren't just another number to him. From start to finish Justyn was perfect. The most down to earth, honest, estate agent I've ever met. Voice notes with updates in our WhatsApp group chat even on a weekend, very chilled, nothing was too much and is actually quite funny! He is just an all-round great guy. We sold and competed within 5 months and Justyn did a lot of the chasing for us during this time. If you're sceptical about going with Justyn because he 'isn't part of the a big company' I would say that is the biggest benefit, he was the only one to give us information and didn't have to get someone to call me back, nothing was left or forgotten about, we didn't have 3 people telling me 3 different things or trying to pie me to someone else, he had the time to be more personal and he actually loves his job. This isn't a numbers game to him unlike some estate agents we experienced before we found Justyn. We miss you already!! You have customers for life, thank you Justyn. ??????
26th Feb 2024 (2 years ago)Moved in 2022, fire alarms not fitted just left in kitchen cupboards, mouldy and broken white goods left in place, thick mould on floors and walls. Was told it was inspected and nothing to worry about. Didn’t mind as we agreed we could carry out work to make the flat liveable and we love the area so moved in. In two years we have replaced our furniture over 4 times due to mould. 2024 come to move out, baring in mind we have spent over £1000 on flooring and decorating, carter shaw phone to tell me the decorating is not great. The walls are literally falling down and furry with mould, despite us cleaning them every week, which we have emailed countless times about to no avail. I also have doctors notes stating mould as a cause for an asthma attack. If Carter Shaw would like to say any of this is a lie I can attach emails and pictures. Avoid!
20th Feb 2026 (26 days ago)James and the team have been great from the offset. They have ticked all of the boxes. They are all professional, punctual and not afraid to pick up the phone and tell you how it is, which is a massive plus! I was advised to get in touch with them after being massively let down by another company and the difference in quality of service has been night and day! If you want to deal with genuine people who get the job done then give these guys a go! I have always been told that selling your house is supposed to be one of the most stressful things to do but I haven't found anything to be stressful with these guys, especially given how average the market is at the moment! 5* service, highly recommend!
