We had no experience in selling a property but staff at Slades Southbourne guided us from start to end. I can't highlight the quality of the ads enough, from photos to actual ads being on top of all searches. Unlike the most agencies around the area, they are so accurate with what can be done to finish the deal. Thank you to Dean, Jack and Jeanette.

It wasn't straight forward as our buyer solicitors were poorly and this caused several problems. The team were very professional and thoughtful and did everything in their power to get this transaction sorted efficiently. Thank you once again for everything.

They’re professional, reliable, friendly, responsive and genuinely receptive, with great communication throughout. Lauren in particular was absolutely brilliant, approachable, helpful, and lovely to deal with. Overall, I’ve really appreciated their service. A well-run agency that I would definitely recommend!

1st Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)I generally prefer to give companies the benefit of the doubt and avoid leaving negative reviews, but our experience as buyers with Palmer Snell has been genuinely appalling.<br>?The level of communication from the sales team is beyond poor. Emails sent to Anthony repeatedly go unanswered, and getting through on the phone is a constant struggle. On one occasion, I spoke with Magda and gave her details regarding our purchase, but no action was ever taken. To make matters worse, Anthony scheduled a second viewing for my husband, forgot about it entirely, and left the seller to conduct the viewing herself.<br>?Due to the total lack of transparency and responsiveness from Palmer Snell, we were forced to contact the vendor directly. Unsurprisingly, she is just as dissatisfied with their service as we are.<br>?I must highlight the abysmal service from Anthony, the office manager. We found him to be arrogant, rude, argumentative, and overly dismissive when discussing structural and building queries. The experience has been so stressful that I can no longer bring myself to speak to the office, leaving my husband to handle all communication. If this transaction falls through, it will be entirely down to the agent’s incompetence.<br>?While there seem to be positive reviews for their lettings department, the sales team is a completely different story. Their lack of honesty, professionalism, and basic customer care is deeply frustrating. Whether you are buying or looking to instruct an agent to sell your home, I strongly advise avoiding Palmer Snell. In the future, any property listed with them will be an immediate red flag for us.

2nd Oct 2026 (25 days ago)I honestly can’t recommend Simon & Co enough. From the first viewing Simon was approachable, helpful, upfront and informative. This continued throughout the whole process, and as a first time buyer, i honestly think they made all the difference. From accommodating extra viewings to stepping in to help move the process along where needed and answering any questions I had, he went above and beyond to ensure all ran as smoothly as possible. I’ve always had somewhat negative perceptions regarding estate agents, but this has completely changed since my experience with Simon & Co. They are a really genuine, friendly team who are great at what they do.

Whilst the sale turned out to be more challenging than expected, friendly advice and support from Jack, Hettie, Emma and Charlie helped keep things moving. It was very reassuring knowing I had such an approachable, knowledgeable and committed team on my side. A big thank you and highly recommended.
14th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)Terrible estate agent to deal with, one of the worst I have encountered and experienced. Very poor communication and awkward to deal with. Purchased a property through them and buying a house can be challenging at the best of times and they made this process even harder. Plenty of notice was given to them in relation to locating or supplying keys to the windows as these were all locked and presented a potential fire hazard. Supplying the window keys was left to the last minute, just prior to exchange of contracts and completion and the vendor who was selling the property was pushing for a completion deadline and Jordan Marks were not helping in the slightest despite numerous email communications. They even wanted me to exchange and complete prior to this matter being resolved. Avoid this estate agent at all costs. Totally unprofessional, unhelpful, appalling service and communication.

11th Oct 2025 (1 year ago)I hadn’t heard of Stratton Oak Estates until contacting Getagent, and originally had them round only for a valuation. They were so professional and friendly and convinced me to give them a try. From start to finish they kept me fully informed of all viewings, and found a buyer very quickly. They have a very good online service to keep track of the sales progression, as well as regularly phoning and emailing. I have dealt with many Estate Agents over the years, but none have compared close to Stratton Oak Estates.

We agreed the deal within two weeks, and the whole team was excellent throughout. Daryl, Christopher, Alex, Lucy, David and Peter kept us updated constantly over WhatsApp, chased the solicitors relentlessly and solved problems quickly whenever they came up. Their effort made a real difference in getting the deal over the line. I can’t recommend Meyers highly enough.

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.

There were many difficulties associated with this 'long distance' house sale and without 100% from Zak I feel as though the sale would have fallen through. Words that come to mind are:- personal service, knowledgable, focussed, friendly, efficient, above and beyond, good humoured, diplomatic, professional - the list goes on.
