4th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)As a landlord, Winkworth have looked after our properties for the last 15 years. Starting with Ben, who is now a senior partner, and more recently dealing with George, the whole operation has been seamless. The most recent sale of a flat was very efficient due to the teamwork of Winkworth, especially Nino and George. I would recommend Winkworth Westbourne without reservation.
11th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)I had a valuation from Clarkes around 3 months ago when my property was already been marketed by another local agent<br>Had the good fortune to meet Andrea who gave me lots of useful tips which really helped improve the look of the flat in order to attract viewings<br>Andrea is honest, genuine, sympathetic and very knowledgeable.<br>At the time I was still locked up in a long sales agreement with another agent therefore couldn’t appoint Clarkes<br>The situation has now changed with regards to my property, and though there is no need to appoint Clarkes I definitely will next time I sell/ buy another property. I have no hesitation in recommending Clarkes to anyone.

Dealing mainly with Dean and Jack who I can highly recommend, great communication, efficient and very successful in selling a great number of the apartment and many off plan too. Highly recommend.
3rd Aug 2026 (20 days ago)We have recently bought a house through Fisks. The customer service from day one was, unfortunately, very poor.<br><br>The problems started at the very first viewing, which we had booked via phone call with their office after an expression of interest through Rightmove. We turned up, and no one was there. When I called the office, I was told they had no record of the booking. A representative did eventually show up (the same person I spoke to on the original booking who claimed to have no idea), but she seemed completely uninterested in being there. Very little engagement and desire to understand our position because we “weren't ready”. Not the best experience when being sold a house. Despite this, we put our own house on the market, and sold it within 7 days.<br><br>From offer acceptance to exchange took 16 weeks, well in line with the current UK national average. Throughout that time, Fisks' behaviour, in our opinion, was not professional. We understand the need to check the progress of the chain, but their approach was to hound all of us repeatedly. Communication was entirely one-way; Fisks rarely returned our phone calls, yet towards the end they spent weeks chasing and pressuring everyone else in the chain, including our own buyer’s solicitor. At one point, they even accused us of lying about our buyer's status, despite having kept them and the seller's solicitor updated throughout. By panicking and hounding five different parties at once, they were inevitably confused and created mixed messages for themselves. It felt like their own internal mismanagement and poor communication meant they simply couldn't keep track of the facts.<br><br>We were also subjected to threats that the house would be relisted if we didn’t exchange by a certain date (never happened and screams bullying tactics). The most frustrating part was that after being put under an immense amount of pressure to rush the process, the sellers themselves weren't actually ready to complete within a timely window anyway, which felt totally unjust.<br><br>To top it all off, on our second viewing we asked Fisks if the buyer was going to leave the white goods. They followed up with an email asking us if we would like to purchase them for a fee. We politely declined. Further down the line, we were presented with the contents and fitting form from the seller's solicitor, which, in fact, did stipulate that the white goods were being left. So we instructed our solicitor to ensure that they were remaining in the property, which they did agree. Move-in day comes, no white goods, a hefty amount of money being spent not only on our part to replace, but also by the sellers to remove what should have been left as per the contents and fittings form. Overall, a very sloppy sale.<br><br>This high-pressure, unorganised approach is exactly how housing chains collapse. I am incredibly relieved to no longer have to deal with Fisks, and I cannot recommend them based on this experience.<br><br>Sadly, the property had already been on the market for 6 months with a previous agent, and it seems such a shame that Fisks have taken the commission, as it definitely wasn’t earned in this case.

We worked together for two years and they were a great help to us during the move; in fact, the whole team supported us even whilst we were looking for a new home. One of the main reasons we chose Welcome Homes was because Leah came across as completely genuine, honest, and never pushy. She took the time to explain the current market, set realistic expectations, and talked us through a pricing strategy that gave us confidence from the very beginning.<br><br>As we had already found a property we wanted to buy, we needed to get our house on the market quickly. The team turned everything around incredibly fast, and we were so pleased with the quality of the photos and the listing.<br><br>From then on, we dealt mostly with Lyndsey, who handled our viewings and kept us updated throughout the sale. She was always friendly, approachable, and excellent at communicating. Lyndsey sold our property very quickly, but what really stood out was everything that happened afterwards. She was incredibly proactive, regularly chasing solicitors, keeping both us and our buyers informed, and making sure the whole process kept moving forward.<br><br>We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Selling and buying a house can be stressful, but Welcome Homes made the entire journey feel seamless.<br><br>A huge thank you to Leah, Lyndsey, and the whole team. 13th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)Amazing support a first time buyer!<br>From the beginning, both Sol and Simon demonstrated their professionalism and experience. As a solo first time buyer, I had so many questions about the process and options which they provided me with detailed, unjudgmental, honest and timely responses to. The purchase took longer than expected due to so many interdependencies unrelated to Simon and Co, however they remained in contact and up to date on all aspects of the conveyancing. Even weeks after completion, Sol and Simon were still on hand to answer any queries I had. Overall, I felt incredibly supported by Simon and Co and would definitely recommend them as a great estate agent.

After waiting for days with no contact, I chased it up and got told again they were waiting for viewing dates. One day later I checked and the property has been let.........<br><br>A few months back got ghosted too regarding viewing another property.<br><br>If this is their customer service at the very beginning, would you want to rent out with them?<br><br>Big fat no.

Jack and the team were always on hand to offer support and make sure the transaction was progressing as well as possible. A special mention regarding their property photography, which stood out amongst competitors. I would not hesitate to recommend Link Homes. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From the first conversation they were professional, responsive and completely straightforward.<br>What stood out most was their honesty. They gave clear, realistic advice rather than telling me what I wanted to hear, which made the whole process far less stressful. They were always available when I had questions, kept me updated without me having to chase, and handled every detail carefully.<br>I always felt I was in safe hands with someone who actually cared about getting the right result, not just closing a deal.<br>If you want an estate agent who is reliable, trustworthy and properly supportive, look no further. A fantastic experience from start to finish.

Communication was excellent at every stage, both with my wife and I as landlords and with our tenants. Everything was handled efficiently, clearly and with a genuine level of care.<br><br>What really stood out to us was how approachable and reliable the whole team were. We always felt that our property and our tenants were in safe hands, and that everyone involved was being treated with the same level of respect and professionalism.<br><br>We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Marco Harris to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional property management company. Justyn is very professional, knowledgeable and has all of the necessary experience (and more) to help you with your property sale / purchase. He works with you, rather than the usual chain agency jargon you get sold. He has sold two of our properties now and definitely contributes to the smooth running of the process. He presents properties and associated sale and purchase options/strategy confidently, in a way that inspires confidence that he has done his homework. He accentuates the positives, but is realistic about any drawbacks. He follows up diligently and has a problem-solving, deal making mentality.
