19th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Amazing service! After being messed around and let down by other Estate Agents we were very sceptical of using an auction company and how this would go. I have to say that Andrew and Keisha were fabulous from the start. We were kept updated with progress and treated with care and understanding. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We would highly recommend to anyone considering selling via Auction!

Matthew Port is so helpful and responds really quickly to any query, he's so easy to deal with. I would highly recommend Martin & Co My purchase has now completed and I would like to add that Louise has the sort of customer service skills that you just can’t train -she’s naturally warm and friendly - I always come off the phone from her smiling-she’s an asset to the business.Connells - Birmingham City

27th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)Started off with a very good experience with Sahar who dealt with our mortgage! However once house was gone under offer and towards completion, we was not kept up to date, missed phone calls, emails ignored and nor replied to for weeks by Sarah, when called to ask about it she was always “busy” and colleagues would not pass the phone onto her. After being chased for completion from our end and everything was signed off from our side, we heard no response for weeks… when we started to raise the issue we was kept in the dark as “they don’t know what is taking long” but didn’t want to contact the sellers solicitor. After we said we would not go ahead with purchase then they let us know house will be ready in August which initially was meant to be completed by end of May. I see many other people have a great experience which is great but we had one of the worst experience and we felt the way our emails were responded to were also a little unprofessional.

Although our tenant pays the rent on time every month, this company delivers the rent to us with a significant delay. This month, it's been over 15 days and they still haven't sent the rent. Despite repeatedly trying to contact them via email, I receive no response. Furthermore, they are not properly managing processes for us (such as municipal taxes and electricity bills), and because we are unaware of these bills, they have put us in a position where we may face legal action.

They managed my tenanted property successfully for some time, provided a great valuation, and then secured a buyer quickly. They are professional, easy to contact, and tell it like it is. For anyone looking for reliable, 'all-in-one' property experts, look no further than the team at Arden.
23rd May 2026 (6 weeks ago)We were due to move into a property managed through Genie Homes on 22 May 2026. The tenancy agreement had been signed and completed, and we had arranged our family move around that date. On the morning we were meant to move in, we were told by text message that the landlord had changed her mind and that we could no longer move into the property. This left us in an extremely difficult position as a family. Our home was packed, we had already made arrangements connected to the move, including our son’s school transport, and we were left trying to work out where we were going to live at very short notice. Our son has Down syndrome and significant additional needs, so the sudden uncertainty and disruption caused a huge amount of stress for us. Although some staff members tried to help afterwards, the overall handling of the situation felt very unprofessional and lacked proper accountability. We had to keep chasing for updates, requested calls from senior management that did not happen, and were left in limbo when we needed clear communication and practical support. Based on our experience, I would not recommend using this company.

Ignoring messages and no reply since. When we initially got there the fob to access the building wasn't in the lockbox and no one replied to our calls our messages. Terrible experience and somehow even worse customer service.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

The data led presentation and the ability to see the scale of the prospective buyers was very refreshing. Ryan has been excellent with communication and listening to my requirements and has delivered them brilliantly. Best agent I have worked with.
