5th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)I had quite a good experience with Amber from Connells. She is very personable and she works diligently to solve issues. Unfortunately I didn’t get all the keys required to move into my new property. At first they said they would get me the fob for my completion date, then they said they didn’t have it. In addition to the aforementioned, connells advertised the property had a safety document they didn’t possess. I can’t say they’ve been perfect but they’ve tried to rectify issues to the best of their ability.
15th Aug 2026 (8 days ago)Extremely disappointed, we had arranged a viewing and a time today, and we reached outside the property had to come quite a distance, and they refused to pick up any calls didn't have any agents available and after waiting 40 mins and being forwarded to voicemail I had no option but to leave. Avoid these property agents they are extremely unprofessional and do not care about other people's time

From the initial valuation he guided me and kept me fully informed at every stage of the process. His proactive communication with the buyers’ and my solicitor’s was excellent. The service I received from Debbie and D’arcy was excellent . They were efficient, attentive and genuinely supportive. I cannot thank Ben, Debbie and D’arcy enough for their amazing support. 21st Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)I had an extremely disappointing experience with this estate agency and would strongly encourage anyone considering renting, buying or selling through them to think carefully.<br>After progressing through the rental application process, our application was withdrawn at the very last minute with little communication or explanation. We were then told that the landlord wanted to increase the rent. Despite agreeing to the higher rent to avoid losing the property, the agency failed to keep us informed of the outcome or provide any meaningful updates.<br>The lack of communication and consideration caused an incredible amount of unnecessary stress. We have two young children and had spent the weekend preparing for our move. We were around 90% packed and ready to leave, only to be left in limbo with no answers.<br>To make matters worse, I submitted a formal complaint about how the situation was handled, but no proper complaints procedure has been followed and no genuine attempt has been made to address or resolve my concerns.<br>I understand that landlords can change their minds and that not every tenancy proceeds as planned. However, the way this agency handled the situation was unprofessional, inconsiderate and lacking in basic communication. A simple update or honest explanation would have made a significant difference.<br>Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this agency. If you're looking to rent, buy or sell through them, be aware that communication and customer care may fall well below what you would reasonably expect.

The team is incredibly friendly, super approachable, and they genuinely take the stress out of being a landlord. Every time I've needed to get in touch, they've been quick to reply and always sort out tenant or maintenance issues with a smile. It makes a huge difference dealing with a team that is so warm, reliable, and professional. Highly recommend them to any property owner

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
24th Jun 2021 (5 years ago)Raman and his team are very quick and efficient and great sub contractors as well in and out they get the job as soon as possible as well never let you down As per my review above, Raman and Jade went above and beyond to fix an issue for me and my family even Raman called and spoke to us on a weekend to update us on what’s happening and how soon it will be resolved, top top people to deal with and all round great service

18th Aug 2026 (5 days ago)I think it depends what partnership you have, I one I had the sales pitch was great but the communication throughout once I signed up with them was terrible, at one point t after I chased and chased for feedback after 1 week after a viewing they told me I had an offer, yes it was very low, but I was never told.

He gave a realistic price to market the house at, rather than hyper-inflating it to flatter us and gain our business. I actually chose Oakmans over other agents mostly based on my feeling that he was trustworthy and would do his best to sell our property.

18th Aug 2026 (5 days ago)Had a great experience buying a property through Let Property. Sales process started with a tough negotiation and completion was pretty smooth. Picked up keys today and very happy with the purchase for the price I got it for - would 100% use them again for another purchase as they have a lot of good deals if you are looking to buy tenanted property.
