2nd Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)I have recently renteda property from Paul Dubberley in West Bromwich. I found the staff professional and friendly. I struggled with the tech side of how things needed to be completed. Chelsea Ullman was so helpful in assisting me. I was able to go into the office at short notice and she even offered to come to my house to help. I commend the service I have received which made my move which is a very stressful time much easier.

From the very first conversation, Angel Estate agent was different. They took the time to genuinely listen to our needs, fully understood our business requirements, and were very clear about what was realistic within our budget. Rather than pushing unsuitable options, they gave us honest guidance, clear direction on locations, and practical advice that actually made sense for our business growth. What really stood out was their commitment and persistence. They stayed with us throughout the process, kept communication clear and consistent, and worked hard to find a property that truly matched what we were looking for tomorrow not just something to close a deal. 27th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)In the last 2weeks I have dealt with 6 different estate agents within the Bromsgrove area.From my first enquiry with MECS they far exceeded my expectations and were by far the best estate agents to deal with.<br>I met Kashni at the property I wanted to view and she was professional,knowledgeable,accommodating and very helpful and friendly. All the other estate agents could learn a lot from them and the service they provide. I am very happy to recommend MECS to either sell or buy a property from.<br>Thank you to MECS estate agents and especially Kashni for your excellent customer service .

Although our tenant pays the rent on time every month, this company delivers the rent to us with a significant delay. This month, it's been over 15 days and they still haven't sent the rent. Despite repeatedly trying to contact them via email, I receive no response. Furthermore, they are not properly managing processes for us (such as municipal taxes and electricity bills), and because we are unaware of these bills, they have put us in a position where we may face legal action.

They were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process. Their guidance and expertise made everything smooth and stress-free. They were always available to answer my questions and provided honest advice at every stage. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for commercial property assistance.
23rd May 2026 (6 weeks ago)We were due to move into a property managed through Genie Homes on 22 May 2026. The tenancy agreement had been signed and completed, and we had arranged our family move around that date. On the morning we were meant to move in, we were told by text message that the landlord had changed her mind and that we could no longer move into the property. This left us in an extremely difficult position as a family. Our home was packed, we had already made arrangements connected to the move, including our son’s school transport, and we were left trying to work out where we were going to live at very short notice. Our son has Down syndrome and significant additional needs, so the sudden uncertainty and disruption caused a huge amount of stress for us. Although some staff members tried to help afterwards, the overall handling of the situation felt very unprofessional and lacked proper accountability. We had to keep chasing for updates, requested calls from senior management that did not happen, and were left in limbo when we needed clear communication and practical support. Based on our experience, I would not recommend using this company.

I lived in their property for 2 years and I can say that they are experts in maintenance. I recommend them highly to any homeowner or tenant. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

30th Jun 2026 (6 days ago)I have had difficulty with a tenant not paying the rent and breaking the conditions in the contract.Due to the legislation changes on renters rights, it has made it more complicated. Horton and Senate has been so supportive and have helped resolve the situation. I could not speak more highly of them, in particular Charlotte who kept us very well informed during the period .<br>I would highly recommend them . They are very professional in every way<br>Thank you again, I would not use anyone else.

The data led presentation and the ability to see the scale of the prospective buyers was very refreshing.
