From the outset, the process was far from straightforward, with a number of challenges arising along the way, particularly around communication with the sellers and various other complexities. Despite these obstacles, the team remained professional, proactive and supportive at every stage.<br><br>David and Verity were outstanding throughout the purchase process. They consistently kept us informed, responded quickly to queries, and worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help overcome issues as they arose. Their persistence, attention to detail and commitment to ensuring progress was made a significant difference, and we are genuinely grateful for the role they played in helping us successfully complete the purchase.<br><br>On the sale of our property, Oliver and the wider sales team were equally impressive. Their market knowledge, guidance and dedication helped us secure the right purchaser and navigate the transaction smoothly. 11th Apr 2025 (1 year ago)Our property was valued too high and went out to their database too high even though we questioned it. When it went online it was missing filters, so wasn’t pulling through with garden (which wasn’t spotted for 3 weeks) and went on as a terrace not a semi-detached. Both detrimental to getting the right viewings. Selling points about our property didn’t seem to be passed on to the people showing the property, and it was not always the same person viewing. I sent a pdf over so that agents could use this to sell the property (off my own back) with information like - new boiler & boiler location, new flooring etc.. it was never used (I was waiting outside for the last viewing we did with them and was asked where the boiler was! lol) Once the wrong key was brought so they couldn’t get in.- 15th Oct 2026 (12 days ago)Outstanding Estate agents, professional and helpful from the outset. Constant communication through out the process, and responded to every query extremely promptly. Would 100% recommend if you want a professional service.

They provided good and clear advice and explained the whole process really well. They obviously work very well as a team as if one person was unavailable, another would step straight in. We have been using Alan de Maid for both letting and now selling for over 30 years and would most definitely recommend.

We chose Langford Rae over 3 other Estate agents as they did not ‘hard sell’ and give unrealistic expectations.. they were honest genuine and fair .. of course, all agents want the sale but these guys were ‘real’<br>We are grateful to them for a very smooth ‘transaction’ through a very emotional process of selling our family home. I personally would highly recommend them.

Bear in mind they was not even out estate agent, she supported the entire process and chain, chasing all relevant parties to get the sale over the line. Tried to unsubscribe five times but you get a pop up saying ‘something went wrong’. Phone up and ask to get removed from the mail list, yet continue to get junk emails.
