They put in extra hours on evenings and weekends (including Sunday) to get us settled super quickly. 29th Jul 2026 (26 days ago)This agency "managed" my house rental very poorly with no push for any rent increase over 8 years+ and no on-site visit during this whole period despite being a contractual obligation, probably due to agency being extremely lazy as well as corruption for having some form of relationship with my tenants. I strongly recommend you avoid using this agency.

My sale and purchase took over a year but I was being kept updated and supported throughout the process. Jacob, thanks a million for finding the right buyers for my home. You did a great job and saved me from losing my purchase property. So happy to be in the cottage at last! I’d certainly recommend Langford Russell and feel they are the best estate agents in the Orpington area. It was thanks to Ivan that after the longest search we managed to find our perfect family home. Both Ivan and Glenn helped the process along and couldnt have asked for more. Defo would recommend them to anyone looking to buy/sell.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
1st Jun 2026 (12 weeks ago)I have got to say that from day one we found Robert to be a very personable person & also, at a later stage, ditto to Mathew. We have enjoyed a fantastic relationship with the two of them throughout the whole process. We were kept informed, at every stage, as to where we were & what should be happening next. They were also very proactive concerning both the buyers & our solicitors when & as required. It has been fantastic to find two highly motivated people where nothing seemed too much trouble. We would both like to say a massive thank you for everything. We would certainly highly recommend them. John & Tracy

He gave good advice throughout the process and we were really pleased with the way he mediated the sale process with the sellers. We also used Oaks’ recommended solicitors and found that partnership very beneficial + efficient. Big thanks to Dane and the team at Oaks for landing us our lovely new home

Picked up keys today and very happy with the purchase for the price I got it for - would 100% use them again for another purchase as they have a lot of good deals if you are looking to buy tenanted property.
