They are utterly professional in every sense and helpful to the nth degree. I couldn’t recommend them more as the agent to choose if you are torn between a few.

We have again just bought and sold through G&L and once more recieved an exceptional service.<br><br>We really felt that Adele went out of her way to get our property sold in less than 2 weeks. Ever the property professional she helped us all the way along the process with excellent advice, always staying calm and solving problems when ever they arise.<br>Adele and Duncan also worked hard to find us a property once we were sold and because we had access to their upcoming listing's they found us something really amazing and we are truly grateful for that.<br><br>Then as anyone who has bought a house will know property chains are rarely simple. Lucy is in charge of sales progression and is always 4 steps ahead of everyone else. Leading the charge to chase down all the solicitors, other estate agents and vendors to get things moving. Lucy also kept me regularly updated during sometimes stressful times and we certainly appreciated it.<br><br>Big thank you to an excellent team once again at Goodman & Lilley in Henleaze. We continue to reccomended you highly to our friends and family.<br><br>JUNE 2020<br>I would highly recommend Goodman & Lilley and the amazing team at the Henleaze office. We bought and sold properties with them and the service received was always above and beyond. We mostly dealt with Adele and Duncan throughout the process and always found both of them to be extremely professional and personable. They were very supportive and understanding of all the emotions that come with the moving process, Without doubt we would recommend them to friends and family and if we ever need to sell again I know who we will be instructing.

There is no way our house move would ever of happened without the constant effort and enthusiasm from this wonderful team.<br><br>Time and time again they went beyond what they are required to do, to chase solicitors, keep the chain informed and the whole time they did this with total professionalism, also with a lovely friendly touch.<br><br>A special thanks to Karen who is quite simply amazing and anybody working alongside her or who has Karen working for them are very very lucky.<br><br>Thanks Karen and the whole team xx
14th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)We approached Westcoast to sell our property in North Bristol, enabling us to move to our new bungalow in North Somerset. From start to finish they remained extremely focused, having to deal with a number of buyers over a 10 month period, before finally getting the sale over the line. My thanks go out to Emma, Gemma, Emily and anyone else in the Westcoast team I might have forgot to mention. Emily, our move manager, especially, for her determination in getting us through the move process, liaising with our vendors estate agent and eventually getting us into our new home. THANK YOU Westcoast Team, great effort.

She was absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful from the very beginning, made arranging and attending viewings such an easy and enjoyable experience. She was very friendly professional and approachable, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.<br>I really appreciate how supportive, transparent and responsive she was throughout the whole process. 10th Aug 2026 (14 days ago)We recently sold our property through Boardwalk Estate Agents, and despite what turned out to be a very challenging and stressful sale, the team worked incredibly hard to get us over the finish line.<br><br>A special mention has to go to Chris Palmer, the Sales Progressor, who was absolutely outstanding throughout the process. The sale was far from straightforward (despite there being no chain) and involved dealing with an extremely difficult solicitor on the buyer's side, which caused numerous delays and frustrations. Through all of this, Chris remained proactive, calm, reassuring and professional.<br><br>What really stood out was his communication. He was always incredibly quick to respond to messages and calls, kept us updated at every stage, and worked tirelessly to keep the sale moving forward when it felt like things might stall again. We were particularly grateful that, due to the urgency of the situation, Chris even took the time to deal with matters during his annual leave.<br><br>This transaction certainly tested everyone's patience and sanity! However, Chris's persistence, dedication and support made a huge difference, and I genuinely don't think the sale would have reached completion without his efforts.<br><br>I'd also like to mention Rhia Lloyd, who was a real pleasure to work with from the outset. She did a great job with the valuation and marketing of the property, and her advice and support helped get things off to a strong start. Although Chris was our main point of contact during the sale progression, Rhia was always happy to help when needed and stepped back in towards the end when things were becoming particularly challenging. We really appreciated her support and the part she played in helping us get the sale over the line.<br><br>Thank you to Chris and Rhia for all your hard work. We are now happily settling into our new life in Brighton, and we're very grateful for everything you did to help make that happen.
16th Aug 2026 (8 days ago)When I first appraoched ocean when I was evaluating agents, they were very good at communicating and provided all necessary information clearly. Once I agreed to use them. I found that they were slower than I would have liked and it took a few weeks to get the apartment on the market. I had to chase to get a for sale sign up outside the building. Little things like that made the experience working with Ocean average rather than great
14th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)We were excited to be using an agent that was within the local area as we believed this would give an edge over other agents. However, it transpired the local branch was only for lettings and not sales (which are over 6 miles away). The cover photo that Holbrook Moran chose for Rightmove had a clear picture of the house next door included in the photo. This neighbouring property was in a very poor state of repair and did not reflect well on our recently renovated property that was being sold. We provided a suitable photo for them to use. Its disappointing that common sense from the agents did not prevail in this instance which would put off potential viewings before viewing the property in person. The agents vastly over-valued the property and there were zero viewings for over a month. We had to contact the manager to say something was wrong and suggested that the property was overpriced. The manager had a multiude of excuses but it was agreed to reduce the price. This did result in a few viewings and some 'silly' offers which didn't proceed for one reason or another. After many months of frustration, the agent suggested re-launching the property at a much lower price on Rightmove. This did result in our eventual sale completing. The property had been with Holbrook Moran for 15+ months. During this time we only had two accepted offers, one of which completed. Communication between Holbrook Moran and our solicitor (who they recommended ) was also shocking. It would seem the estate agent's spouse works at the solicitor we were recommended to use. One would think this would improve communications but the opposite was very apparent. Throughout the entire process, updates and any communications were prompted by us (the sellers) as they were not proactive in their communications. The only area they did OK in was in notifying us of when property viewings were taking place and provided feedback on viewings.

James Heywood, Jemima Kivell and team have been extremely professional and friendly, and the whole process of working with them to let our flat was very positive. Their recommendations on rental value and the kind of tenants we might attract was spot on, and a single block viewing secured wonderful tenants. Thanks Ocean for a really easy and enjoyable process!

15th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)What a fantastic team!<br><br>We spoke to several agents a few weeks after booking and then cancelling with a larger agent in Kingswood, who were as helpful as a chocolate teapot, and as useful as 3-week-old roadkill.<br><br>We were looking to sell our home having found our dream home out of area. The minute I spoke with Natasha, I knew we’d found our agency. The support, enthusiasm and engagement from day one, were like night and day.<br><br>Natasha was bright, friendly and more than happy to come and meet me and see the house. She is exactly the type of person you want representing and showing the home you love to potential buyers; a true credit to the agency. Within a couple of days, we’d had our photographer round and the property was online. Sure enough, the very first person to view the house made an offer — and I’m sure that was every bit as much down to Natasha’s wonderfully enthusiastic approach.<br><br>The app made it incredibly easy to keep tabs on everything that was going on, and although we didn’t accept the first offer, we soon found our buyer and this week we finally exchanged!<br><br>While the sale was progressing, Hollie was an absolute superstar. We had quite a difficult ride of it with our vendors, who went through three different solicitors along the way (!), but Hollie remained steadfast, confident and incredibly professional throughout. She did a fantastic job of keeping me calm, managing all the different stakeholders and keeping everything moving at the tail end of the chain; but went the extra mile when I fell ill, by even push our vendors solicitors to help keep things progressing. Just great!<br><br>My huge thanks to Natasha, Hollie and everyone at Parks. I honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

We had some tricky solicitors to deal with, but they helped us navigate the whole thing, kept us constantly in the loop, and did a lot of the chasing on our behalf to get the purchase over the line.<br><br>Highly recommend.

He was professional, approachable and no question was too much. From start to finish the process was seamless and user friendly. There was nothing hidden everything was clearly communicated with you. If I hadn't moved from the area I would definitely use Andy again and wouldn't hesitate to recommended him to anyone else.

Located in a charming, calm Georgian/Victorian part of Bristol, this flat allows you to experience the atmosphere of times gone by.<br>It is well furnished and lovingly decorated, offers stunning views from the windows in both directions and has a clean, fresh feel about it despite the age of the actual building.<br>One spacious kitchen-cum-living room with a high ceiling and a compfy sofa and a dining area, and two lovely bedrooms with their own bathroom offer all the comfort you need.<br>The location is excellent, too: just a three-minute walk from College Green, a bustling older centre of Bristol, and ten minutes from the busy main commercial streets farther on. If you walk up Great George Street you find yourself on Brandon Hill with lovely pathways and breath-taking views over the city from Cabot Tower.<br>You have shops and eateries nearby, and can even walk to Clifton Suspension Bridge if you are up to a thirty-minute slightly uphill trek.<br>Make sure you visit the Georgian House Museum in the next building down the street (you can catch a glimpse of its lovely garden from the bedroom windows!) and have a snack/drink in St. George's Bristol just across the street.<br>Team Hopewell has been an excellent host, communication was quick and effective. Overally, I highly recommend this property.

He answered every single query and always followed up everything he said he would without hesitation. We had updates regularly throughout the whole process which made it very smooth! He is amazing!!
4th Aug 2026 (20 days ago)Didn’t show up to viewing, despite me and my partner being 10 mins early saw the sellers leaving the property for the viewing, Waited 30mins no one arrived. No phone call to let me know they couldn’t make it. Not good enough.
