6th May 2026 (3 days ago)After a bad experience with another agent, Eveleighs were fantastic. Absolutely professional and thorough, whilst being very friendly. They review the house from every angle - EPC, boiler, switchboard - point out things that will put buyers off or affect the survey (guttering in my case). My house sold on the first viewing for the full asking price - communication has been great so far. Great team
28th Apr 2026 (11 days ago)Pascha, in particular, was very helpful in advising how to get the house best presented for sale, and then the sales team as a whole were very efficient in providing details of viewings and feedback. The initial buyers pulled out at quite a late stage but the team re-sold the house quickly. Julie has been progressing the sale and keeping me well informed. It has been quite a difficult chain and some of the solicitors have been challenging but Julie has relentlessly kept on top of them all and provided regular updates. I like that most communication is by phone rather than email.

We not only sold our house through them at full asking price in around 2 weeks, they were also able to recommend a property on their books to us that was exactly what we were looking for. At every stage of the process we have been kept up to date, had things clearly explained and felt like everything was under control. From having our home valued with Liam, through to having viewings with Seamus and to the move management side with Emily we have been really impressed and grateful for the service provided. Thank you.
6th May 2026 (3 days ago)Northwood Letting have been great when I recently went through a change of occupancy at the flat I rent in Bristol. Any communications I’ve had with the staff at the branch has been excellent (special mention to Anne and Matthew) for answering my queries efficiently and promptly. They’ve made what was a stressful process, incredibly smooth! I would happily recommend the Northwood branch to anyone.

She kept me consistently updated with new properties that matched what I was looking for, which I really appreciated. Her communication was great, and she made the whole experience feel easy and well-organised. I’d definitely recommend Kelsey to anyone starting their property search.

27th Apr 2026 (12 days ago)I had a disappointing experience with Hunters. The photography fee was explained upfront, but I think this should be highlighted more clearly to new sellers—especially as many other agents include this for free while charging a similar fixed fee. The photos themselves were quite dark and not as strong as other listings. After my initial sale fell through, the property was re-listed quickly, but communication throughout was poor. I was almost always the one chasing updates, calls were rarely answered, and I often had to leave messages for a callback from someone who wasn’t even handling my property. The flat then sat on the market for over two months without a single viewing. When I did manage to speak to the agent, they didn’t seem to have any clear explanation as to why this was the case or offer any real suggestions to improve interest—despite other similar flats nearby selling. The exit process summed up the experience. Although I was emailed about the 14-day notice, a simple courtesy call the day before would have gone a long way to reiterate this and acknowledge that the property hadn’t sold. Instead, I had to call on the final day myself to arrange getting my keys back, only to find the listing had already ended. I also wasn’t told my agent was on leave. Overall, a lack of proactive communication made this a frustrating experience. Update: They’ve handed over the wrong keys to the new Estate Agent, causing me to take time out of work to meet at my own property so my spare keys could be used. Not good enough, and not at all professional. I do not recommend Hunters Estate Agents.
30th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)The worst Estate agents ever. The bane of my life. Myself & My housemate laugh because every time something needs to be actioned, some how the estate agents mess it up. They constantly email us about the property and put for example number 15 when its number 5. There is a women called Sam who works there and she has the attitude of a 14 year old teenager. Snappy, rude behaviour and talked over me multiple times. When signing the tenancy, arranging paperwork to move into the property, Sam told us different figures for the deposit each time we spoke to her. When I questioned this, she was very immature and very rude. When I complained to House & Co they listened to the call and said they felt nothing wrong took place. But as someone who's worked in service for many years, I can assure you that her language was bratty and her attitude stunk. Told them three times that my housemates name was spelt incorrectly, but when we went in to sign the tenancy it was still spelt incorrectly which caused a delay. Weirdly, they said we never notified them of this. Another message Sam did not pass on. Twice, they have emailed us THE NIGHT BEFORE telling us a inspection is due the NEXT DAY. Then state they told us previously which was a lie. I also dealt with this estate agents when I bought a previous property. This was in 2020 with Covid19 causing many issues of course. The people I bought the property from were using House and Co for the sale of the property. The sellers left us all of their old furniture, rubbish, mess and honestly it was a bio-hazard. I contacted House & co multiple times to complain and they NEVER got back to me. Not once. I had to fork out over £4k for a skip. WORST ESTATE AGENTS EVER. Wil bratty staff. 29th Apr 2026 (10 days ago)For the most part our experience of Boardwalk was incredibly positive. Our estate agent Ester was 5 stars and genuinely was the best we've ever worked with after spending a prolonged period of buying and selling properties over the past few years with several estate agents from various companies. Ester's communication is above and beyond and I genuinely doubt you'll find a better estate agent. From her alone the premium you pay for Boardwalk is worth it. The reason however I am giving Boardwalk 4 stars is due to the sales progression side of the business. The communication was not up to the standard you would expect for the price you pay. Slow and at times unattentive comms with moments where you had to chase to get a response. Their online portal Property File is ok however our sales progressor either would update the sales progression steps late after they had happened or nor at all for both myself and our buyer. My property has sold and the sale completed and however on their portal it is still showing as the contract having not been signed yet. It's a confusing and destabilising time selling a property especially if you're unsure at what stage of the process you're at. Having the ability to see step by step where you and your buyer are in the process is in theory extremely useful however if, like in our case, it isn't used and that attention to detail just isn't there then what is the point of having it? If anything it adds to the anxiety of feeling in limbo which you naturally feel when selling/purchasing. So on this side of things the comms needs to be upped, which from reading other reviews, seems to be a common theme. It is a shame as this let down the otherwise flawless start of our Boardwalk experience that we had with Ester. The valuation was fair and a buyer was promptly found. The negotiations were handled fairly getting the right balance between the buyer and myself. All swift and no drama. We were really impressed with them having all of the information up ready to discuss and also the suggestions helping us to process the potential in the property. We had our standard questions and a few more novel ones. Freya provided all the info and more without swamping us with details. We've had quite a lot of viewings where not much of the info was to hand or known. We've also had a few more over-bearing agents so we were really impressed and thought it was worth providing some feedback! Thanks

He was incredibly positive about my property, particularly the recent renovations. Although my initial asking price was high, James was happy to give it a go and the professional photos and video marketing were outstanding. When I became concerned about the timeline and price, James provided honest, expert advice to adjust the listing. We found a buyer shortly after, leading to a successful completion in mid-April. The entire team was professional, supportive, and kept me updated throughout the process. Highly recommended!

Andy & Nicola are immediately responsive & so easy to contact, they prioritise weekend viewings & are very flexible. I couldn't recommend them more. 23rd Apr 2026 (16 days ago)I stayed ay the Coombe Lodge Gatehouse for two nights. It's a lovely single bed apartment with kitchen and sitting room as well as the expected bedroom and bathroom. It was quiet despite being close to the road. It was perfect for the event I attended at Coombe Lodge, just a short walk away. I highly recommend.
