14th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)What an awful experience I’ve had with Mr Homes. Although the team was initially efficient in finding a tenant and completing the referencing, everything that followed was deeply disappointing. Communication after the contract was signed became appalling, and the agents demonstrated a clear lack of competence regarding the bond protection process.<br><br>It took the agent 11 days to provide me with a copy of the contract, despite repeated requests. This delay meant the bond protection had to be completed at the last minute. Instead of acknowledging their own failure to supply the required information, they sent me a threatening, legally?worded email, which was entirely inappropriate given the circumstances.<br><br>Despite this, I remained patient and attempted to work with them to resolve the issue.<br><br>Despite this, I remained patient and attempted to work with them to resolve the issue. It became apparently that the agent simply could not understand how the bond protection process works, so the CEO became involved.<br><br>Unfortunately, the CEO’s involvement made matters worse. He spoke to me on the phone in a patronising, condescending and dismissive manner, clearly assuming I was ignorant of the process and showing no awareness of the events leading up to his involvement.<br><br>While the agent’s mistakes could be attributed to inadequate training, the CEO’s prejudicial demeanour and belittling tone reflect a deeper cultural problem within the organisation, one that cannot be resolved through training alone.<br><br>Update: I have submitted a formal complaint with supporting evidence. The delays referenced in the CEO’s response were caused by the company not providing the tenancy agreement for 11 days post contract execution, despite repeated requests. All statements in this review are supported by email and call logs.

17th Aug 2026 (6 days ago)We recently bought a property in Llantwit Major which was marketed through Harris & Birt’s Cowbridge office. The purchase depended on us selling our property which was outside of the immediate area.<br><br>Although we were “Sold Subject to Contract” (STC) our sale took a little longer than we would have like but we have to say that Harris & Birt were excellent. They approached the property vendor on our behalf who agreed to wait until our sale was concluded. Throughout this period, Harris and Birt kept check on our progress in order to update the vendor. They were also very accommodating over the same period when we wanted to return to view the property on numerous occasions prior to completion.<br><br>For these reasons, along with their responsive communication, we would have no hesitation in recommending Harris & Birt.

22nd Jul 2025 (1 year ago)I recently used Osbourne Estate agents as a first time buyer, before the house went through the searches, the survey picked up that the house needed work and therefore could not have a mortgage until the work was completed. I reached out to Osbourne Estate agents to question whether they were aware of the construction the house required and I had no response at all. Complete waste of time.

As<br>*The tenant was not properly vetted.<br>* Peter Alan failed in their duty of care.<br>* They continued to support the tenant despite repeated breaches of the tenancy agreement.<br>* I have suffered financial loss because of their actions.<br>* No responsible person or assigned to sort out things , I spoke to letting agent , customer service, accountant department and rent department. No one knows how to sort out the issues.

A deduction was proposed from my deposit for a cracked window, but before obtaining multiple quotations or even arranging for a contractor to inspect the damage in person, a price was provided over the phone. The amount quoted appeared excessive and unreasonable. Throughout the process, I made it clear that I was not refusing to contribute towards a fair and justified cost. My concern was that no effort seemed to have been made to obtain a competitive or evidence-based quotation. I repeatedly asked for a more reasonable price or an independent assessment, but this was not properly addressed. I believe tenants should be treated fairly and any deductions from deposits should be supported by transparent and reasonable evidence. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service.

Potential buyers were identified quickly and timely updates were provided throughout the process without me needing to ask or follow up. The staff at Olivia Louise were very friendly. I particularly liked the ability to communicate through different channels which made fitting the house sale process around a busy job much less stressful! I highly recommend Olivia Louise and will definitely use them again in the future. Thank you!!!

Deborah priced our house exactly right and worked tirelessly to get and manage our sale, despite challenging personal circumstances. The help and support she and David gave us when our solicitors went into administration was above and beyond. Deborah found us a new firm and helped expedite exchange and subsequent completion so effectively that we only lost about three weeks overall. Worth every penny of their fee and two of the nicest, most professional people you could meet. If you are thinking of selling your home do not go to anyone else.

9th Apr 2026 (19 weeks ago)Sold my house with One2One in February 2026. Initial valuation house appointment was fine as was the arrangement of the photographs of the house ready to market. From this point onwards it was all downhill. The expectation from the very start was that we were to show buyers around for viewings despite making it very clear from the outset that we did not want this. Once we made it clear that we wanted the estate agents to manage the viewings, we quickly learnt that their availability was scarce with no capacity for blocking viewings. In my view, it’s a tactic to get you to do your own viewings to save them the hassle and they can cash their part in it. All viewings confirmed by text and an email which was all fine. Once we finally reached a place where One 2 One would agree to block viewings they placed at least seven together on a Saturday which we were pleased with at this stage. On the day of the block viewings, no phone calls or communications from the estate agent beforehand so I didn’t even know the name of who was arriving and the agent had never seen my house before. I had to write out key features of the house for the estate agent. To no surprise they were late for the first viewing and I had to ring the office over and over to find out what was happening. Turns out they had booked viewings at a separate address for another seller before my block viewings. I did accept an offer in the days that followed and couldn’t wait to be done with them. The lady who contacted me towards the end of the sale was lovely and approachable but can’t say the same for any of the female staff members I spoke to throughout. I felt the need to write this review as I wished I went with a more reputable company so I could have received the service that we were looking for. I would advise anyone reading this to avoid this estate agents entirely.
