3rd Jul 2026 (2 days ago)The agent took 6 months to sell one of the two properties I had. I spent a lot of my time chasing him up for information and feedback. He had failed to advise about writing into the sales schedule, no guarantees. This cost my £3000 payment to the buyer for a new boiler. He sold the property at home report value, which I'd agreed completely unaware of the additional costs I'd be paying. The second property did not sell. I discharged this estate agent and went with a different estate agency. Within two weeks of them marketing the property, three viewings resulted in two second viewings and an offer accepted. When I wrote a review, to prevent anyone else experiencing such unnecessary stress and negative financial impact, he responded with it was my fault for insisting on doing the viewings. Oddly enough, as my son is a vulnerable adult, I continued with the viewings after changing estate agents and behold the property sold!

20th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Alternative Estates have been brilliant from start to finish! House moves are a stressful time but Conor, Carla and the team made it as easy as possible. Always on the end of the phone to answer any questions or to give a little nudge when needed, and their communication was first class, we were always the first in the chain to know anything. I could not recommend them highly enough, a knowledgable, family run estate agent you can trust. Fantastic!!
