After I posted a review on google, suddenly they had the time to finally call me back. Not to refund my money though, to ask me why I posted a bad review and still no answer on when I will get my £400 back! Scammers!
19th Mar 2026 (16 weeks ago)Everytime I enquire about a property for sell this agent is advertising. The first question they ask is 'Do you have a property for sell'. They take all your personal details and at the end don't give a date for viewing. This happened on several occasions, I have now stopped enquiring. I believe this is a fishing tactic to get peoples information and if they can find a person who is looking to sell. I would not ever buy or sell a property through them.

13th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)This is a terrible agency, and I am extremely disappointed with the service I received today. I arranged a viewing in NW9 and spoke with one of their agents, Alexandra, who confirmed that I should be at the property at 3:00 PM. I even arrived 10 minutes early. However, despite the rainy weather, no agent showed up. Usually, an agent is there to guide you through the viewing, even if the tenant is still living in the property. Alexandra was completely unprofessional and irresponsible. I waited there until 3:30 PM, trying several times to contact her by message. She told me that the tenant would open the door, but nobody answered. After waiting another 10 minutes in the rain, I still received no help. Alexandra later claimed that the tenant had left, which made the whole situation even more confusing. I travelled all the way from SW18, which took me around 1 hour and 20 minutes each way, so this was a complete waste of my time. To make matters worse, when I called the agency, the lady on the phone was rude and blamed me for being late, even though I had arrived early. In reality, the agent herself failed to show up. In London, transport delays can happen, and professional agencies usually wait at least 10 minutes for clients. Instead, I was treated unfairly and spoken to disrespectfully. I would absolutely not recommend this agency to anyone. Their customer service is terrible, their communication is poor, and they are highly unprofessional. Overall, it was a horrible experience.
16th Jun 2024 (2 years ago)Was dealt the worst tenancy of my life through Lifestyle Property. Within 3 weeks of living at the flat we were burgled, front door was taken off the wall so we had no choice but to phone the landlord and was told we ‘ruined his Sunday evening’. The property made us all severely sick for months at the result of black mould. We had doctors notes and the landlord disregarded all proof that the mould was a result of poor insulation. Adam and the management team at Lifestyle property were reluctant to help in anyway, Adam asked us to send him evidence of the flat and instead of giving advice, he ignored emails and decided he no longer wanted to help. Useless estate agents and I would advise anyone to stay away from Lifestyle property, especially if the landlord is Lee Poppy.
10th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)rented a property through Blackstone Residentials from 17/03/2024 to 01/02/2026, and it was one of the worst renting experiences I’ve had. From the beginning of the tenancy until the day we moved out, several major issues in the property were never properly resolved. One sink never worked correctly, one shower had ongoing problems, and the washing machine was faulty for months. Even after repeatedly reporting these issues, repairs were either delayed for an unreasonable amount of time or never properly fixed at all. The washing machine replacement alone took around 3–4 months, and the replacement provided was a refurbished machine with very limited functionality. What was most frustrating was the attitude from the agency whenever we raised complaints. Instead of taking responsibility and managing the property professionally, they constantly blamed the landlord by saying things like “our owner is not good” or “she doesn’t listen, we can’t help.” As tenants, that should not be our problem. We were paying rent expecting a properly maintained property, not excuses for nearly two years. Every time we contacted them about maintenance issues, it felt like they were doing us a favour instead of fulfilling basic responsibilities. Many of the complaints we raised at the start of the tenancy were still unresolved by the end. The situation became even worse after moving out when they attempted to claim nearly 90% of our deposit — including deductions related to issues we had already been reporting to them for around 1.5 years. Thankfully, the deposit was protected through DPS, and because we had evidence, emails, and documentation, we were able to dispute the claims and recover most of our money back. My advice to anyone considering renting through this agency, especially students: document absolutely everything. Take photos and videos before moving in, keep all emails, and never rely only on verbal promises. Without evidence, it would have been very easy for us to lose a large amount of money unfairly. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this agency.

I was desperate to complete before Christmas as I was potentially homeless and Jon pulled out every stop to make sure this happened. I cannot thank him enough.

She was extremely efficient throughout the process and consistently proactive in chasing the sellers, the sellers’ solicitors, and our own solicitors to keep everything moving. Her communication was clear, timely, and reassuring during what can be a stressful time. Thanks to her dedication and professionalism, the whole process felt far smoother than expected. I would happily recommend Cauvery to anyone looking for a reliable and genuinely committed estate agent.

20th Jun 2026 (17 days ago)I tried to use Samuel King to sell my property in 2024-25 with no success. I found Stephen to be a significant blocker, with little by way of feedback and what often sounded like fictitious viewings. There were no offers and he was evasive on the phone. Eventually, after 6 months, I snapped and asked Samuel King to delist the property. I had no idea what was going on in Stephen’s life, but he was a state - shirt untucked, food stains down the front - and an overall mess. He appeared the very opposite of professional and if you’d have told me he’s living at the Canning Town office I’d have believed you.<br><br>I switched agents to Purple Bricks and the property sold at the same price listed with Samuel King in 6 weeks. Make of that what you will.<br><br>I later passed Stephen in the street near the SK office and he looked much the same. I had thought that using a local agent would be a good idea, but my experience was anything but. There’s a reason why this office is living mainly on old reviews and is the lowest rated estate agent on Google in the area. I have no skin in the game anymore, my property is gone, but I still felt I should leave this review as a cautionary tale for anyone else thinking of using Samuel King.

12th Jan 2026 (25 weeks ago)During my viewing with Mr Soobh, I felt uncomfortable due to comments about my choice of clothing and inappropriate remarks regarding bedroom size. The whole experience felt unprofessional. I was referred by a neighbour who secured a property late last year, so I expected better, especially given the type of properties involved. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend, and I wouldn’t advise any woman to attend a viewing alone.

Secrea's patient guidance and clear expertise demystified the entire reassignments process for us. She always kept us informed and responded promptly to our queries. Billy's proactive approach and exceptional communication skills were crucial in keeping things on track. He liaised with solicitors and efficiently resolved challenges, from documents to securing the completion date. We felt completely supported and informed throughout. We are incredibly grateful for their professionalism and dedication and highly recommend Lixing!

Compared to some of my previous experiences with bigger names in the market, the team are Alter and Cope really stood out. They were highly responsive, professional and proactive whenever we sought their help. All maintenance requests were handled efficiently, and we always felt well supported as tenants. Thank you Alter and Cope for making our rental experience so smooth and stress-free. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking to hire similar service.

2nd Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)a horrible company to work with. do not go here. useless at picking up phone calls. pass all there work to overseas virtual assistance who help you with nothing. they are a scam company, disorganized, rude and they still haven't refunded payments to me thats owed over 4 months. will take to small claims court if the payments are not cleared within the week of this review. The owner should be ashamed of this set up. I have 120 properties and worked with multiple agents over my businesses and this is by far the worst. they are a joke and i wouldn't be surprised if they didn't have proper compliance and insurance structurer behind there company set up. do not work with them.
