The whole team was incredibly helpful, supportive, and felt like family throughout the entire process. Connells has their own in-house mortgage advisor and also managed the solicitor services for us, which made everything much more convenient and smooth. A special thank you to Andrea for handling our mortgage so professionally, and to Kazminder at Tolbats Law for managing the legal process efficiently. We are very grateful to Vicky, Samantha, Okan, and Liam for their constant guidance, kindness, and excellent communication. They were always available when we needed help and made the entire journey much easier for us. 21st Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)We called twice and on each occasion left a message so that the responsible person or team could get in touch regarding a property valuation. On both occasions call-backs were promised but never happened. It seems they can afford to turn away potential clients and business. We will now use other agents.
18th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)Dreadful experience from start to finish with Stuart Burtenshaw. Firstly his arrogant aura came across as mocking the way my parents lived when he came to view the property for a probate valuation. I didn't want to put the house on the market because of this but one of my siblings thought that seeing as they knew George Rockall all would be ok - how wrong could they have been...... Stuart Burtenshaw is the most arrogant, rude, unempathetic, person I have ever had the misfortune to meet. He made mistakes throughout the process, he was pushy to except an offer of £70K less than the asking price when our property had only been on the market for less than 8 weeks....needless to say we did not accept it. When he asked which solicitors we used and then advised that they used Lightfoots regularly, which in turn led us to believe he understood their processes, again how wrong could I be.... the actual completion day was an absolute horrendous and very upsetting day, we were advised by our solicitors not to hand over the keys until the solicitors had called us to advise they had received the monies, we received this call at 1pm on the day of completion, followed by a very nasty & pushy call from Stuart Burtenshaw at 1.05pm asking when we could drop the keys in when I said 30 minutes I was told that was totally unacceptable and he demanded to know how long it would be as the new owners had been at the estate agents at 10am...... This we thought was not our problem and Stuart should have known Lightfoots proceedures, and dealt with it accordingly, I asked for 10 minutes, instead he suggested that he just send them down to our house, next thing 5 vans and 2 cars arrived and new owners wanted to come in..... We had no time to say goodbye to our family home of 61 years......... Bitterly disappointed doesn't cover it, my advice would be DO NOT use White Lion to sell a property and if you have to then avoid Stuart Burtenshaw at all cost.

This was not an easy sale to progress, Graeme was spinning lots of plates, in a difficult chain, including keeping me up to date with information as and when I needed it. When i had questions about the process he was patient in explaining things to me. His communication via phone, voice mail and email has been first class. I would recommend Graeme Pierce and his team at Thomas Merrifield without a doubt. 100% first class service.

21st Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)Haven’t received any rent as a landlord since December 2025! They refuse to answer the phone, answer emails, answer instagram messages and I am now owed for the outstanding finances. Absolute awful behaviour - do not list your property with them!!!!

Selling my mother's home was always going to be an emotional process, and Jacob at Orchid Estate Agents handled every aspect of it with genuine care and professionalism. Throughout the entire process, his communication was exemplary. We were kept informed at every stage, never left wondering what was happening, and always felt like a priority. He achieved a fantastic price, moved things along at impressive speed, and did it all with a calm, reassuring manner. If you're looking for an agent who combines real expertise with genuine human warmth, Jacob is exactly that. We wouldn't hesitate to use Orchid again.

I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

As long-term tenants, what has stood out most is their professionalism, reliability, and genuine care for both the property and the people living in it. A special mention has to go to Ellen Horsley, who has been an exceptional point of contact throughout our tenancy. Ellen is always approachable, responsive, and incredibly efficient. Whether it’s been routine queries, maintenance requests, or general support, she has handled everything promptly and with a friendly, reassuring attitude. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and truly values building good relationships with tenants. The agency as a whole has been organized and transparent, making the renting process smooth and stress-free over the years. Communication has always been clear, and any issues have been resolved quickly and professionally. They select great tenants and give regular feedback on how the letting is progressing, they also deal efficiently with the normal household problems like drains, appliance breakages and keep me informed with me having to interrupt my day to sort them out. They have also negotiated HMO licences with the council on my behalf. I have had requests from other letting agencies but am not going to change. Thank you C&C
