15th Nov 2021 (4 years ago)This used to be a decent enough place until they employed idiots during the pandemic. The Shirley one who started in 2021 is particularly rude and obnoxious. She simply will not answer emails or return calls. Nothing professional about her at all but I guess when you pay peanuts you get monkeys! ???????

He covered all bases, was very kind and patient with us when we asked a million questions, and was so quick that we had moved within the month! The whole thing was super easy for us and very afforable. We're grateful for all his help, and will recommend Thorntons to everyone as a reliable and trustworthy firm, especially for first time buyers.
27th Apr 2025 (1 year ago)Peter from Delmor was professional and easy to deal with. He provided useful advice, was very understanding and supportive. Staff in office were polite and friendly and easy to deal with. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
3rd Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)Awful dealing with my fathers estate. 1 year since my fathers passing and still not completed. Have phoned repeatedly to ask if assistance is required to finalise proceedings,but call backs dont seem to be on their remit. No property sale was involved only finacial items which we provided. I understand that my estranged brother is executor ( to which the firm was informed by myself)but a courtesy phone call wouldnt have gone amiss during our grieving to keep myself & my sister aware of proceedings.

8th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)I have used the Innes Johnston Solicitors before for helping me wind up my late Aunts estate. So can definitely recommend them for these needs. But I would and will not go past Jacqui McAdam, Estate Area Manager for buying and selling any properties. This is the third time I have used Jacqui and that should speak volumes. A highly professional individual who's knowledge off the property market is second to none. Her attention to detail and advice are always greatly appreciated and received. She has a wonderful team around her and nothing is too much trouble. Brochure, photos, video really showed the properties off to their full potential and loaded with information. You are kept up to date on all progress. Keep up the good work, best wishes for the future Alayne
6th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)Unfortunately, our experience with Housespotters Estate Agents was very disappointing, mainly because of poor communication and a lack of professionalism throughout the process.<br>Before our house was put on the market, Amanda was very confident that she could achieve a certain price for our property. However, our first concern was when the photos were taken using a phone rather than professional camera equipment. Although phone cameras are good these days, the photos did not have the quality we expected for selling a property. When the advert went live, there were too many photos, and some did not show the house in the best way.<br><br>The biggest problem for us was communication. After the first week, it became difficult to get updates. There were very few viewings, and things did not improve while we were with them. Calls often went unanswered, and promised call-backs rarely happened. We often felt like we were chasing them for information rather than being kept updated.<br><br>After around three weeks of frustration, we decided to end our agreement with them. What disappointed us most was that there was no real effort to understand why we wanted to leave. We were simply asked to pay the marketing fee so the property could be taken off the market. Once we paid, the only reply we received was confirmation of payment and a short “good luck” message.<br>After this, I noticed I had been blocked on WhatsApp and social media. I also emailed about removing the “For Sale” sign but received no reply or confirmation that this had been arranged.<br><br>Overall, our experience with Housespotters Estate Agents was very poor. Based on what we experienced, I would not recommend them to others. The level of communication, professionalism and customer service was not what we expected when selling our home.

Communication regarding invoices and payments has been very difficult, with repeated delays and the need for constant follow-ups to receive payment. This creates unnecessary stress and makes it hard to manage supplies and ongoing work professionally. I hope the company improves its payment processes and communication with contractors in the future.

From the very beginning of my home-buying journey right through to collecting the keys, the service I received from Kirsty and her husband Gavin was absolutely exceptional.<br><br>They are both incredibly friendly, professional, fair and attentive. What really stood out to me was how much they genuinely care about both the buyer and the seller. They always made sure everyone was treated fairly, kept things moving smoothly and were there whenever we needed help, advice or reassurance.<br><br>Buying a home can be a stressful experience, but their kindness, communication and attention to detail made the whole process so much easier. They went above and beyond what I would normally expect from an estate agency, and it was clear that they genuinely take pride in what they do.<br><br>One of the nicest touches was when we collected the keys. They had prepared a lovely handwritten card and some chocolates for us. It was such a thoughtful and personal gesture, and it really showed that they care about their clients and wanted to make the moment of receiving our new home keys even more special.<br><br>Kirsty and Gavin are not only fantastic professionals but genuinely lovely people. I always felt that I was dealing with people who truly cared about achieving the best outcome for everyone involved, rather than simply completing a sale.<br><br>Thank you both so much for your hard work, kindness, professionalism and genuine care throughout the whole process. Picked up keys today and very happy with the purchase for the price I got it for - would 100% use them again for another purchase as they have a lot of good deals if you are looking to buy tenanted property.

Macy was always available when I needed to contact her and was kind and patient in answering any queries I had. I will definitely use Lindsay’s again in the future if required.
3rd Apr 2026 (20 weeks ago)We had initial meeting with Lisa with regard to bringing property to market, but Sophie has been our main point of contact since then, handling all our enquiries and viewings. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and she was always there to answer any questions we had regarding the processes. We feel Sophie is an absolute asset to the Glenrothes branch.
