21st Apr 2026 (18 weeks ago)My property was not advertised on their Enfields site for a number of weeks .. i picked up on this & got an apology & said they were having a few problems.. while in contract with them they sent me 2-3 property's that i might be interested in...poor service in my opinion.

20th Jun 2026 (9 weeks ago)Our house sold to the first viewers within the first week of being marketed so we've only had limited contact with the Estate agents so far but everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful. They had great knowledge of the house and the area and were able to provide the buyers with lots of useful information about the house when they came for the viewing. They've been very responsive in getting things moving quickly. Very pleased with the service we've received so far.

11th Aug 2026 (13 days ago)Extremely poor experience. Belvoir were consistently slow and unresponsive, and the handling of my deposit was particularly disappointing. They waited until the very last day of the deadline to submit their proposed deductions, unnecessarily prolonging the process and leaving me waiting for my own money.<br><br>For a relatively small amount, the amount of chasing and hassle was completely unreasonable. I found the whole process dishonest and unprofessional, and I would not recommend Belvoir to any tenant.
21st Apr 2026 (18 weeks ago)They persuaded me to sell with them after massively marking up my home. This meant we were viewing properties out of our reach and that in a matter of weeks they asked for a £20k drop to our asking price. This meant we could not move on as hoped so we had to withdraw. Basically I lost £600 in advertising and cancellation fees. If I’d had an accurate valuation in the first place I would never have put it on the market.

30th Jun 2026 (8 weeks ago)I instructed Nev Lyons at Ewe Move to sell my house and would highly recommend him.<br><br>I met other local estate agents and felt I would be 1 of 100s of customers and they weren't really prepared to put much effort into selling my house at the best price. Nev stood out because he was enthusiastic and honest from the beginning.<br><br>He kept me up to date throughout and was never too busy to speak to me. I always spoke to Nev (rather than one of a team of people). I always felt that Nev was focused on achieving the best price from the buyer in the strongest position rather than encouraging us to accept low offers from weak buyers just to hit a sales target.<br><br>Nev's fees weren't any more than other local estate agents but I received brilliant personal service which I didn’t feel would necessarily be available from the traditional estate agents I met with.

11th Sep 2024 (1 year ago)From start to finish the experience of purplebricks was terrible and more stressful than the process demands. They used a cut and paste description of the property that was completely false and uninformative, alongside photos that were missing to cover the rooms properly. This meant we had to write the description and take our own pictures despite us having paid for them to perform this service. Once the house finally went live onto the portal they had it listed over the value we had agreed. Purplebricks were not helpful in getting feedback after viewings and a key issue is that the portal does not allow to block out days on the calendar. This meant that we were getting viewing requests when we were on holiday that we were unable to rearrange. I would not recommend to anyone looking to sell, the cost saving of using this provider is reflected in their disinterest in proactively marketing and selling your property as they have already been paid.

She recently sold a property for us and from start to finish her service was first class taking all the strain and worry from us<br>Nothing was too much effort and she kept us informed and up to date throughout the whole sales process<br>Once again many thanks
11th Aug 2026 (13 days ago)We purchased a house last year as first time buyers with Lauren as the agent and the process itself was very disappointing and unorganised throughout. Details of the chain were not made clear, an hour before we were to collect the keys (after self employed family members took the day off) there were attempts to delay further and it’s fair to say Lauren’s best interest was with her seller over anyone else - When my partner expressed her dissatisfaction with constantly being messed around Lauren was extremely unprofessional and began a shouting match down the phone. I understand buying and selling houses can be stressful but it should be special buying your first property and we were left feeling deflated and disappointed when we finally moved in. We weren’t even congratulated post completion which says all you need to know. Won’t use this company again if possible.- This agent doesn't have any reviews

15th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)We sold a house through Shankland Barraclough. We found them helpful, straightforward and efficient even through difficult times. Even at the start, our valuation by them was much more realistic than other estate agents (one too low, one crazily high). When it came to selling and buying, we found ourselves in a chain of seven and it took seven months. Throughout that time they stayed in touch, giving us regular updates, despite a change of staff. I believe that Shankland Barraclough and our seller's estate agent prevented the chain from falling apart, as most of the other estate agents in the chain were very difficult to get hold of. They even gave our buyers information that they couldn't get from their own estate agent! Both Liz and Clare were exemplary and a pleasure to talk to. They were amazingly helpful, calm, persistent and excellent at chasing people up. Many, many thanks from us to the whole team - we couldn't have wished for a better service! It’s when it gets tough that you realise how good a company is and Shankland Barraclough proved their worth again and again!
