Already booked the day off so fuming at the complete dis regard of this outfit. Completely unprofessional and extremely arrogant in my opinion!!!! Lesson learned!!!

20th Oct 2026 (7 days ago)Having rented a property managed by Nicholls Tyreman, I can confidently say that our experience with this company has been absolutely appalling.<br>Throughout our tenancy, we experienced repeated maintenance problems, including issues with shutters and blinds, hot water, a fly infestation and the upkeep of the grounds. Getting matters addressed was often a frustrating process involving repeated chasing.<br>Despite these issues, when it came to renewing our tenancy, we were faced with demands for a substantial rent increase and ultimately a Section 21 notice when we could not agree terms.<br>However, the worst part of our experience came when we vacated the property.<br>Having paid a significant deposit, Nicholls Tyreman sought to deduct an astonishing sum for redecoration, woodwork and for flooring.<br>It is remarkable how maintenance issues can be so difficult to resolve during a tenancy, yet when a tenant leaves, thousands of pounds of alleged remedial work suddenly becomes necessary.<br>The entire experience has left us with the impression that the interests of tenants come a very distant second.<br>I would strongly encourage anyone considering renting through Nicholls Tyreman to document absolutely everything, retain every email, photograph the property's condition and be extremely cautious when it comes to their deposit.<br>We have rented properties before and have never experienced anything quite like this.<br>In my opinion, the professionalism, fairness and standard of customer service have been completely unacceptable.<br>I would never use Nicholls Tyreman again and would strongly advise prospective tenants to consider other agents.<br>One star is one too many.

This made the process quite complicated but FSS, particularly Katie Hardstaff, managed the challenge very effectively and with utmost professionalism and patience, going above and beyond to assist us.

They were professional, courteous and made my first house purchase memorable for all the right reasons. Can't thank them enough!

Simon went to great lengths to ensure all parties in our sale were up to date on the conveyancing process and when we have viewed properties with him in the past he has always been very knowledgeable, informative, polite and on time. He is, dare I say it, a rare find in a property sales professional in the way he knows his geographical area inside out and his respect and manner are refreshing. I don't know of any other estate agents in the Headingley or North Leeds area who are as professional. Highly recommended.
20th Oct 2026 (7 days ago)Professional<br>I recently purchased a property through carter jonas and dealt primarily with Tony write, from the initial first conversation Tony was extremely helpful dealing with a property that wasn’t always completely straightforward but he was so professional and knowledgeable about the property and the issues regarding the purchase.<br>Tony was on hand throughout the process supporting us with solicitor questions and keeping us updated throughout, which made such a difference to us as buyers.<br>Thank you Tony you did a fantastic job.
11th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)Extremely poor experience. Belvoir were consistently slow and unresponsive, and the handling of my deposit was particularly disappointing. They waited until the very last day of the deadline to submit their proposed deductions, unnecessarily prolonging the process and leaving me waiting for my own money.<br><br>For a relatively small amount, the amount of chasing and hassle was completely unreasonable. I found the whole process dishonest and unprofessional, and I would not recommend Belvoir to any tenant.

From the first time we met her, she was so friendly, approachable and helpful, and she made the whole process feel much less daunting.<br><br>Debbie was always happy to answer our questions, keep us updated and help whenever we needed it. She really went out of her way to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible, and we always felt that she genuinely cared about helping us find and secure our new home.<br><br>We’re now happily settled in and absolutely love our new house. ????????<br><br>A huge thank you to Debbie for all her hard work, patience and kindness throughout the process. We would 100% recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. She’s been fantastic from start to finish!

21st Oct 2026 (6 days ago)Shankland Barraclough recently handled the sale of our property in Burley in Wharfedale. Pricing was competitive and the service was fantastic. Right from the start the team were friendly, honest and knowledgeable having a really good grasp on the local market. Every time we called for information or advice they were quick to respond. Once we had a buyer the sale itself was difficult at times. But Shankland Barraclough were empathetic and really supportive guiding the process and the support from the whole team was excellent. In particular though, Jeremy and Harpinder were our sale process rocks.
