Helen made the whole process effortless, nothing was ever too much trouble, questions were answered quickly, and she facilitated numerous viewings for us without ever making us feel like an inconvenience.<br><br>It has been a genuine pleasure doing business with Bagshaws, and Helen is a true unicorn amongst the majority of, frankly, abysmal estate agents we’ve come across!<br><br>Professional, friendly, responsive and an absolute pleasure to deal with. We eventually gave notice in writing to terminate the contract and nobody bothered to contact us to ask why we were leaving? Very poor customer service

Jess could not have been more helpful in helping is secure our forward purchase. A massive thankyou to Moores . Highly recommend to anyone wanting an agent who is motivated, communicative and has excellent local knowledge.- 11th Jul 2026 (15 weeks ago)My husband and I put our house on the market with Richard Watkins in Radcliffe on Trent and were tied into a 14-week sole agency agreement. After 12 weeks, with no progress, we asked for our property to be removed from the market.<br><br>During that time, we received no offers, very little communication, and virtually no feedback from viewings. We were never approached to discuss changing the marketing strategy, reviewing the photographs or advert, or considering any other ideas to help generate more interest. It felt as though our sale had simply been left to drift until WE had to ask what was going on and what changes could be made.<br><br>Ultimately, we decided to change agents and within less than 48 hours of our property going back on the market, we had received and accepted an offer—a stark contrast!!!<br><br>One of the viewers who had originally viewed our property through Richard Watkins even returned to view with our new agent. We were told that they said they had only ever received one attempted phone call asking for feedback after their original viewing, which was very disappointing to hear as Richard Watkins ensured us their approach was to ring viewers three times to gain feedback.<br><br>We understand that no estate agent can guarantee a sale, and the property market can be unpredictable. However, what we do expect is regular communication, honest feedback, and a proactive approach. Sadly, that wasn’t our experience.<br><br>The delays ultimately meant we missed out on purchasing what we believed would have been our forever home, making the experience even more upsetting.<br><br>Before leaving this review, I contacted Richard Watkins directly to share our experience in the hope that the feedback would help improve their service. My email was honest and constructive, but unfortunately I never received a reply.<br><br>Since then, I’ve spoken to other people in the village and some have shared similar experiences with the Radcliffe branch. While I can only speak for our own experience, it was disappointing to hear.<br><br>It’s such a shame because Radcliffe on Trent is a close-knit community, and we genuinely felt let down. Selling your home is deeply personal—it’s not just another business transaction. We expected communication, guidance and a proactive approach throughout the process, but unfortunately that wasn’t what we received.<br><br>I haven’t written this review to criticise for the sake of it or to damage anyone’s reputation. I’ve written it in the hope that honest feedback leads to positive change, so future clients receive the level of communication, guidance and support that we felt was missing.<br><br>Based on our experience, I would encourage anyone considering Richard Watkins to think carefully before instructing them. If you do choose them, be prepared to chase regularly for updates rather than expecting proactive communication.

I can’t thank Tash and Ella enough for making my house sale run smoothly and quickly. From coming on the market it sold and completed in 11 weeks. Would highly recommend Benjamins. Fantastic solicitor recommendation as well. Thank you again for being amazing.

Best agents I have ever dealt with - communication was second to none, checking in all the time, updating, calling in when I was sick to check on me ! way above and beyond. Totally professional, ensured all 3 knew my property inside out - just fantastic, open, honest, transparent - absolute pleasure to have dealt with them and if ever I sell again, they will be who I chose hands down.
26th Oct 2026 (1 day ago)We recently sold my parents' home through Homemove, and the service we received from Ben Sales and Charlotte was outstanding from start to finish. Ben was fantastic throughout the process. He spent a great deal of time with my mum and dad, carefully explaining everything and making sure they understood each stage of the sale. What really stood out was the respect and patience he showed them. Unlike some other agents we met, who directed their questions to me rather than my parents, Ben always made them feel involved, listened to, and valued, building that trust was really important to my parents (and to myself) to ensure they felt as comfortable as possible in what is a stressful time. Charlotte, our Sales Progressor, was equally brilliant. Her communication was excellent throughout, and she worked tirelessly to keep things moving. She was constantly chasing updates from solicitors, other estate agents, our buyer, and all the various parties involved, keeping us informed every step of the way. Selling a property that our family has lived in for 50 years has been incredibly stressful and emotional, but Ben and Charlotte made the whole experience so much easier with their professionalism, dedication, and genuine care for their clients. We are incredibly grateful for all their hard work and would not hesitate to recommend Homemove to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

18th Jul 2024 (2 years ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.

The only contact I had from my agent was to push for the price to be lowered. I decided to list with a dual agent and the property was sold in a few weeks.

I have been particularly impressed with their vetting of potential buyers - people have been requesting to view the house, but are nowhere near in a position to purchase, meaning I don’t have to prepare the house or get my hopes up for a buyer that would never come to fruition. Instead, we have received viewings from properly vetted prospective purchasers, one of whom will hopefully make an offer soon!
