Their sales progressor was then invaluable in making sure the process made it through to completion.

1st May 2026 (8 days ago)AVOID AVOID AVOID I had a very POOR experience with this estate agent and landlord regarding a tenancy at 65 NOTTINGHAM ROAD, ILKESTON, DE7 5NN. At the end of my tenancy, there were ongoing issues with the return of my deposit which were stressful and time-consuming to deal with. Communication was inconsistent, and I did not feel the process was handled in a clear or transparent manner. Overall, the experience fell well below expectations, particularly at the end of the tenancy. I would strongly advise anyone considering renting here to carefully document the property condition, keep records of all communication, and fully understand their rights before signing or leaving the property. PROGRESSING TO THE PROPERTY OMBUDSMAN

From start to the point of sale so far the entire team demonstrated a level of professionalism that truly sets them apart in the industry. ?They move quickly and keep the process on track. Every interaction with Adam, Louise or Scarlett was handled with courtesy. They are a genuinely polite team that makes you feel valued. They were always available to assist whenever I had a question, making the communication process seamless ?Thank you for making this such a positive experience!

18th Apr 2026 (21 days ago)We have recently sold our late parents house with Buckley Brown. It was a very stressful and emotional time but the team at Buckley Brown helped us through it. They guided us through the whole journey with kindness and patience. We had weekly phone updates throughout the process. They definitely took the pressure away from us. We trusted them with keys and alarm codes to the property for viewing purposes and they always left the property secure. Debbie from the sales progression team was extremely helpful and I looked forward to her friendly chats. Many thanks.- 6th Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)Phoned up to enquire on a property they had advised for sale met with a complete lack of interest from the staff member who was not only rude but dismissive, fortunately the house is advertised with another agent where we have been able to since view the property with no hassle! If you are thinking of selling or looking to buy completely avoid these bunch of clowns.

In particular I would like to thank Marta for her professional approach to all the aspects of selling the property, in particular, keeping me informed, negotiating and finally selling the property. After the sale was completed, it was then passed over to kirsten, who overseas the completion of the sale, kirsten deals with the solicitors, on both sides which is quite a difficult task, once again very professional and kept me informed from start to finish, so thankyou once again Mr A Meakin

They have always been super quick to respond to any communication and extremely professional while doing so. They were also incredibly understanding, respectful and accommodating of my personal situation. I especially want to call out Bev H who I spoke with the most, she's a real star. Should I decide to rent again in the future or have a property to rent out then Cheffins will be my first choice.
