Arnold & Phillips Estate Agents - Ormskirk
1 & 2 Church House, Church Street, Ormskirk, L39 3AJ
(79 reviews)
30th Sep 2026 (27 days ago)Arnold and Philips was chosen by a relative subsequently deceased. A very professional organisation dealt with many viewings and most importantly kept me informed. Good advice was given in a timely manner and subsequent successful sale. Special thanks to Marcy Campbell in the Ormskirk office.
2nd Oct 2026 (25 days ago)Joel, Paula and the team are absolutely lovely. You can tell they genuinely care about what they do and, more importantly, about the people they’re dealing with. Buying or selling a home is such a big thing, and they really understand that. They take the time to listen, pay attention to the little details and make sure you feel looked after every step of the way. It’s the little things they do that make such a difference and put you at ease. You never feel like just another customer. I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. A proper lovely team who go above and beyond.
6th Sep 2021 (5 years ago)Make sure you look after yourselves when dealing with Smart move because they certainly do!
Roberts & Co Sales and Lettings - Penwortham
36e Liverpool Road, Penwortham, Preston, PR1 0DQ(108 reviews)
23rd Oct 2026 (4 days ago)We finally sold our bungalow through Roberts and Co today. The team did an excellent job finding us a buyer after our first sale fell through and handled the offer negotiation with professionalism and speed. The sales progression was a little hampered by a poor service from the buyers solicitors but we got there in the end. Well done the team at Roberts and Co.

4th Oct 2026 (23 days ago)I can't rate these guys highly enough. From the off, Reeds Rains stood out as being very professional, friendly, approachable and reasonably priced. Andrew was amazing during the valuation, taking the photo's and creating the brochure. From there, Carole and Brooke took over with communications and arranging the many viewings that came through. Carole and Brooke went above and beyond to help me, and made numerous calls to Solicitors to ensure things were moving along as they should. Their communication was always excellent, and I was kept updated on a daily basis with everything going on. The service was very efficient and i couldnt have asked for more. If I ever need to sell again, I will certainly be going with Reeds Rains. Thanks to Andrew, Carole and Brooke.
7th Oct 2026 (20 days ago)All staff are friendly, extremely helpful and efficient can’t recommend enough thank you 10/10

Went on mkt in april, only put onto angelas site in july then only went on rightmove in AugustNow enquiring about rented and i nvr get told what houses they have to let yet told id be told by collete.just missed two now 12 th april, rang last week about parr lane my old house and walmer bridge and no one ever rung back as Collette promised
3rd Oct 2026 (24 days ago)Moving works made the experience from stat to finish very reassuring and easy. Philippa in particular helped us find our dream home in the first place before it even went on right move, and provided reassurance and updates throughout the process, answering any questions we had. Then Michelle was great at keeping us informed once we had the offer accepted, and kept chasing on our behalf until we moved. Very happy with the service !
19th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)Once again brilliant service from the Gilkes family. Sold our property in seven days. Whole transaction completed in just over 2 months. As always a professional efficient and friendly service.
19th May 2026 (23 weeks ago)Very professional service, no sales pressure to sign up with them when they come to do the valuation., which was nice. Pricing was spot on. Would highly recommend.

27th Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)Absolutely fantastic. Lisa and Paul were amazing. I dont think k we would have ever got this house without Lisa's Tenacity. She is so fantastic. We can't say Thank you enough. If we ever move from here we would use you. But hoping no more moves. Thanks again . All I can say is they are top notch. I cannot praise them highly enough. A great night Thank you. Xxxx
2nd Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)I will never try and buy a house advertised by this estate agent ever again. Excuse after excuse, delay after delay. 4 months of being messed about and we still can’t get a moving date, so we’ve walked away. Absolutely massive waste of time.

Excuses include (and I have email screenshots ready if they reply to this review trying to deny it):

- We don’t want to chase the seller’s solicitor because they get grumpy when we do that – well I’m sorry but I need you to put your big girl pants on and deal with it like a professional.

- The vendor is rubbish at admin – yes that was actually an excuse - quite happy to throw their own clients under the bus.

Amongst so many other pathetic excuses. It was never their fault, always somebody else’s. Do not waste your time with this company.
12th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)Very professional and reacted quickly to requests to change photos /price etc
