6th Jun 2026 (29 days ago)I would rate 2Roost Estate Agents as average overall — you get what you pay for. They initially valued my property around £25,000 higher than what it eventually sold for, which I found disappointing and unrealistic. The staff were friendly throughout the process and the photographs they took of the property were very good. However, I felt the overall service lacked experience and professionalism at times. On one occasion, my front door was left open overnight due to carelessness, which was completely unacceptable. I also felt there was little flexibility with viewings outside of standard hours, as evening appointments after 5pm were not really accommodated or proactively discussed with me. In addition, some of the offers put forward to me felt unrealistic and far below expectations. While the service was not terrible, it was fairly mediocre overall. Looking back, I probably would have chosen a more established estate agent, even if it meant paying slightly higher fees. Ultimately, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys — lesson learned on my part.

Everyone we dealt with was helpful, but a special shout-out goes to Chelsea, who was fantastic from start to finish. She was incredibly proactive, always chasing solicitors, keeping us updated, and doing everything she could to help us get to completion smoothly. Highly recommend!

21st Feb 2026 (19 weeks ago)Having approached 3 estate agents to value the property I was most impressed by the work undertaken from the outset by Steven Goff. Although not the cheapest in terms of commission they seemed more professional than the competition. Since placing the business in their hands I have been extremely impressed by their work in relation to organising everything such as viewings and marketing and updating me at every stage. I have been most appreciative of the work undertaken by the whole team and in particular Lauren.

As none of our family live in or near Sheffield his experience and knowledge were invaluable. We also really appreciated the friendly and professional way everything was handled - nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.
17th Feb 2026 (20 weeks ago)Booked a viewing with Nyasha Mauchaza for yesterday at 16:45pm, and we confirmed this in the morning. During my work day, Nyasha texted to tell me she had double booked the viewing and I had to come earlier. She was very passive aggressive and rude about it. There was no apology or acknowledgement of her own mistake or the massive inconvenience this was for me as I work quite far away from the house and had planned my day around that specific time. I got an uber to get to the property and she didn't bother showing up or contacting me. I've also just seen her name pop up negatively in some reviews and that doesn't surprise me. If this is the caliber of staff at blundells, then the company is full of people with bad character and zero professionalism.

15th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)We had 4 agents to evaluate our house and although they were all efficient there was one that stood out from the crowd. Melissa from Morfitt Smith was extremely knowledgeable about the area, the type of potential buyers, realistic about the asking price, and we felt that the service from a local agent would be more suitable for us. Once we made the decision to use Morfitt Smith, they were very quick to arrange the photographs, which were amazing, and to list the property. We immediately had a lot of viewings arranged and received several offers straight away one of which we accepted with their help and guidance. The communication was fantastic, by text and email, we were kept informed of everything by Lauren, our dedicated contact in the office. We're now looking forward to a smooth process through to the exchange of contracts. We are very happy we made the decision to go with Morfitt Smith, they have been so friendly, professional and efficient in what is potentially a stressful time, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Nicola was very helpful from the start with the initial viewing and then again at the second viewing, The whole application was straight forward and we were updated throughout. Even on move in day Nicola went out of her way to accommodate as well as bringing us flowers and chocolate's to enjoy in our new home.

28th Jun 2026 (7 days ago)I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience with this letting agency was extremely disappointing. Throughout my tenancy, communication was often unprofessional and intimidating rather than helpful. Instead of treating tenants with respect, I frequently felt pressured and dismissed whenever I raised concerns. I was served notice to leave the property with the explanation that the landlord wanted to take it back. However, shortly afterwards, I found the same property being advertised for rent again at the same price. This left me feeling that I had not been given the real reason for ending my tenancy. The return of my deposit was also handled very poorly. It took more than 60 days to receive my deposit back, with the agency repeatedly stating that the landlord was holding it. As the managing agency, I expected them to resolve this much more efficiently. They also proposed deductions for cleaning, despite the fact that I had professionally cleaned the property, spent additional money repainting parts of the house, and left it in excellent condition. When I asked for photographs or any evidence to justify the deductions, none was provided. As an international tenant whose first language is not English, I often felt that my concerns were not taken seriously and that I was at a disadvantage during discussions. Overall, I found this to be one of the least professional letting agencies I have dealt with. I believe good letting agencies should communicate honestly, treat tenants fairly, and support both landlords and tenants in a transparent and professional manner. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
