25th Apr 2026 (13 days ago)Review for Anchor Point Apartment (Sheffield) I had an overall disappointing experience with the management of this property. At the end of the tenancy, I was charged £75 for what was described as “light cleaning,” specifically things like skirting boards, despite the entire apartment being cleaned to a reasonable domestic standard before moving out (vacuumed and surfaces wiped throughout). This felt excessive and unfair, especially after a two-year tenancy where normal wear and tear should be expected. Additionally, during the tenancy, an incident occurred where neighbourhood children broke a table, and this was reported. Unfortunately, there was a complete lack of action or follow-up from the management, which was frustrating and disappointing. Overall, the handling of both maintenance concerns and deposit deductions did not feel balanced or tenant-focused. I would advise future tenants to document everything carefully and be prepared for potential disputes at check-out.

She was incredibly fast, efficient, and on top of every detail, keeping me informed every step of the way. Her professionalism and clear communication made all the difference, and it was obvious she genuinely cares about doing a great job for her clients. If you're looking for an estate agent who delivers results with a friendly and proactive approach, Taylah is the one to go to.
25th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)From the outset of the buying and selling process, all the staff at Reeds Rains were committed to meeting my needs and aspirations. They responded very promptly to all my queries, and took time and care to provide all the information I needed. The two dedicated staff who dealt with my situation, as well as all other staff were great communicators, very approachable and responsive. I was able to trust them totally for best outcomes, and indeed received the most excellent service for both my selling and buying. I cannot recommend highly enough.
21st Feb 2026 (11 weeks ago)Having approached 3 estate agents to value the property I was most impressed by the work undertaken from the outset by Steven Goff. Although not the cheapest in terms of commission they seemed more professional than the competition. Since placing the business in their hands I have been extremely impressed by their work in relation to organising everything such as viewings and marketing and updating me at every stage. I have been most appreciative of the work undertaken by the whole team and in particular Lauren.

Our move took an extremely long time to progress due to the solicitors, but Mel was always happy to help push things along and chase down answers. Mel kept us informed and did everything possible to get everything sorted. She was always a pleasure to speak to and was instrumental in finally getting everything over the line. Thanks Mel!

Kerry, Dean and Olivia have been amazing from start to finish! As first time buyers with a fair few challenges (solicitors going into administration 3 weeks before completion)they were at the end of the phone for each and every breakdown I had along the way! I could write reasons all day why they have been so fantastic! customer support is second to none! nothing is too much trouble, they went above and beyond in every way possible! They deserve all the recognition in the world and we will be forever grateful! THANK YOU! ??

Their attitude with their clients is extremely commendable. This is the second time we have used this agent, and feel they are highly recommendable to anyone who is considering either buying or selling.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

1st May 2026 (7 days ago)We were buyers, and found the staff at Mallinsons easily contacted, very helpful and knowledgeable about the properties we were viewing and when we came to purchasing a property, very good at following progress. When we went to collect the keys to our new house, we were delighted to receive a welcome hamper of prosecco and Yorkshire goodies.

20th Apr 2026 (18 days ago)We contacted this estate agency back in 2024 when we were looking to buy our first home, mainly because of their strong reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was very different. From the first phone call, the tone seemed to change once the agent heard our accents. The conversation felt quite dismissive and uncomfortable, which wasn’t what we expected at all. When it came to the viewing, things didn’t improve. We arrived before other viewers but were told otherwise without any clear explanation, which didn’t feel right. During the viewing itself, the agent didn’t really engage with us or guide us through the property. Instead, she spent most of the time talking to the person living there (possibly the tenant), who ended up showing us around and checking in on us. They were far more helpful and welcoming than the agent. Overall, we left feeling like we weren’t treated with the same level of attention or fairness. It was disappointing, especially as first-time buyers, and the experience didn’t match the impression given by the reviews. The difference in attitude from the initial call to the viewing also raised concerns about how some clients are treated. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to more consistent and respectful treatment for everyone.

26th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Shaz was our estate agent for both the purchase of our new house and the sale of our previous house. We cannot recommend him enough. He went above and beyond throughout the whole process. He was incredibly contactable and responded extremely quickly. No question or query was too much for him and he made the whole process as smooth as possible due to his communication. He gave us excellent advice when it came to offer price and also sale price and he helped us negotiate on price when the survey flagged some issues requiring repair. Shaz genuinely cares about both the buyer and vendor in this process, which makes a huge difference compared to other estate agents we have interacted with over the years. If we ever move house again in the future we will be using EweMove again and I will be recommending them and Shaz to anyone else I know planning a move!
