16th Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)Put in an offer which was accepted then received an email stating that purchase fell through. Lied and stated that it had been discussed on the phone which it had not. Dealt with us like we were buying a pair of shoes not a house! Hope to never deal with Louise ever again. Written an email to the area manager because the handling of the whole thing has been an utter disgrace. Constantly sounded frustrated that our house wasn’t selling quick enough - look at the state of the economy - houses aren’t exactly selling in a week! Anyway, if I do ever have to buy a house through Acorn, will be specifying who I do NOT want to deal with. Nonsense behaviour

30th Jun 2026 (8 weeks ago)Its not worth even giving 1 star as the property they are letting or they are managing, they are unable to solve single issue even after 8 months. Every time they just gives answer that they are following with landlord. I would not recommend anyone to go with this agent. As they promise they will do everything and till that day of your moving they will put into delusion and after moving they dont care you will put into queue for months like I mentioned above.<br><br>Even the five star review I believe they might asked there friends to put as this guys are not worth for 2 star for responding.

From the very beginning right through to completion, she was there every step of the way, making what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and well managed.<br><br>Lynne was always proactive, approachable and incredibly responsive. She was constantly chasing things up, getting answers to our questions quickly, and keeping everyone moving in the right direction. It genuinely felt like she was invested in making sure everything progressed as efficiently as possible.<br><br>Her communication was excellent throughout, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Having someone so knowledgeable, dependable and involved from beginning to end made a huge difference to our experience.<br><br>We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lynne to anyone buying or selling a property. Thank you for all your hard work and support, it was very much appreciated.

He responded quickly to my initial enquiry, explained the process clearly, and kept me updated throughout.<br><br>The marketing was excellent, with Richard taking fantastic photographs that showcased my flat beautifully. 11th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)I had such a positive experience with Mia and couldn’t recommend her highly enough. From the very beginning, she was incredibly patient, understanding and attentive. It took her no time at all to understand exactly what I was looking for in a rental, and I genuinely felt listened to and supported throughout the process.<br><br>Although I ultimately didn’t end up securing a property through Foxtons, what really stood out to me was that Mia continued to check in and follow up with me afterwards. Mia knew my required move date was approaching and took the time to make sure I had something lined up, which I thought was incredibly thoughtful and showed how much she genuinely cared. I’m extremely grateful for all of Mia’s help and support and would recommend her to anyone looking for a property.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
