8th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)If you're thinking about moving home, do your research before choosing an estate agent. I wish I had. Looking back, I made the mistake of assuming that using the estate agent selling the property I wanted to buy would make the process easier and quicker. It didn't. What I didn't realise at the time was how much difference the right estate agent can make. That difference was Hannon Holmes. From the very first viewing, Gill and Naomi made me feel comfortable, supported and valued. There was no pressure, no sales tactics, just genuine people who cared about helping both buyers and sellers through what can be one of the most stressful experiences in life. One of the best things they encouraged me to do was meet the seller of my new home. At the time I didn't realise how valuable that would be, but it turned out to be one of the most helpful parts of the entire process. It gave me confidence in the purchase, meant I had someone I could contact if I had any questions about the house, and we've actually become friends. Throughout the purchase, Gill and Naomi kept me informed every step of the way. I never felt like I was chasing updates or being left in the dark. They communicated regularly, explained what was happening, and genuinely cared about making sure everything progressed as smoothly as possible. What stood out most was that they saw people, not transactions. They cared about both the buyer and the seller. They listened, they supported, and they always made me feel like I mattered. Buying and selling a home can be overwhelming. There are moments of uncertainty, frustration and stress. Having people like Gill and Naomi in your corner makes all the difference. They are professional, approachable, honest and committed to getting the best outcome for their clients. If you're looking for an estate agent that will genuinely have your back, I would recommend Hannon Holmes without hesitation. I only wish I had chosen them from the very beginning. Having dealt with several other estate agents during my search, including one purchase with another agent that progressed quite far before falling through with little support provided from that particular agent, I can honestly say the service at Hunters stood out. Vicky, Marissa and team were consistently friendly, responsive, and proactive throughout the process. They were quick to address any questions or concerns, providing clear updates and helping everything move along smoothly and efficiently. Their support made the stress of house buying feel much more manageable. I would definitely recommend them — thank you again!

19th Aug 2026 (4 days ago)Dealt with this firm as the seller when they represented the buyer on my property sale. Their conveyancer refused an existing absent landlord indemnity policy on completion and pushed for a retention for ground rent arrears. After completion, the ground rent invoice was issued by a company whose active Director is a Senior Partner of this exact law firm. When raised, the Senior Partner dismissed the concern on the basis that I was not their direct client. Be aware of how third-party transactions and retentions are handled here.<br><br>UPDATE in response to the owner's comments:<br><br>I was never provided with an address or contact details for any alleged rent collector, meaning there was literally no door to knock on. It was only when I researched the entity demanding the funds on Companies House that the direct link to this firm's Senior Partner was uncovered. Written correspondence from the conveyancer also confirmed that her client would not knock on a door to pay rent.<br><br>The Absent Landlord indemnity policy had already been purchased in 2018 at my own cost when I bought the property. Refusing existing insurance to extract cash under the time pressure of a completion date resulted in an unnecessary duplicate payment.<br><br>The response above openly confirms that the company which issued the arrears demand and received the payment has a Senior Partner of this law firm as an active Director.<br><br>I never confirmed the matter was closed, having promptly referred the conduct to the regulator. The SRA's assessment explicitly recorded that the conveyancer claimed she was personally unaware that her firm's Senior Partner ran the company collecting the ground rent.<br><br>The documented email trail and public Companies House records speak for themselves.
20th Aug 2026 (3 days ago)Leah has been really helpful through the whole process. She has been in touch regularly , probing feedback from viewers and advising on offers . Great value for money versus others in the area. Hopefully the process to completion will be as efficient but mindful solicitors are involved and that WC . Dawson don’t have too much influence on the timeline of the sale itself.

22nd May 2026 (13 weeks ago)I would give this property management company zero stars if I could. Dealing with them has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. They ignored mine and my husbands emails for weeks, they never answered the phone, and somehow made every simple issue feel impossible to resolve. They took our deposit and then told us the landlord no longer wanted to give us the tenancy for no good reason. We had to wait 12 weeks for our deposit to be refunded. As soon as our tenancy contract was signed, their true colours showed. They were both rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested with our concerns. It honestly felt like once they had your money, they wanted nothing to do with you. Communication was awful, professionalism was nonexistent, and accountability was nowhere to be found. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company unless you enjoy stress, disappointment, and wasting your time.

You could always depend on them to put your mind at ease if you had any questions . There professionalism was second to none .

I would happily recommend their services to anyone looking to buy, sell, or rent a property.
18th Aug 2026 (5 days ago)I was buying a property, but there was a problem with the burglar alarm. He said it would be fixed before completion. We had a couple of conversations on the subject. The sale went through, the alarm was untouched. I confronted him with it. He denied our conversations had ever taken place. Eventually he gave me a token amount of money from his fee that was nowhere near the cost - the whole alarm system had to be replaced. Estate agents often face criticism regarding their integrity, but I've never had one lie to my face before. It was a first.

However, due to a couple instances, this rules out a good review.<br><br>One - they lied about attending a property when a fire risk was present, protecting their maintenance crew rather than admitting fault on their behalf. This was extremely concerning as all of our belongings including the house could have been destroyed!<br><br>Two - at the end of the tenancy, they charged their flat rate of £50 for a mattress clean for a tiny (1inchx1inch) brown mark, when the mattress was already measured by their own metric as ‘7’ meaning ‘minor marks or minor signs of wear and tear’. Then lied about the proceedings of the deposit return - stating that they would take all of the deposit if they did not accept our counter offer after three attempts via a 3rd party, causing our lead tenant to send a lower offer of £25, worried that they would take the whole deposit. However, this was a lie and this is not how the 3rd party operated, but it was too late to retrieve the offer once it has been accepted.<br>Additionally a mattress clean costs £50 or it doesn’t, the fact they even took our lower offer of £25 reveals they were just out for a quick cash grab, disgusting<br><br>All in all, MCR Move has a track record of a lying, do not go with them! Plenty of better agencies out there!

He handled the sale of my house with a really high level of professionalism, I’d previously used a more traditional estate agent as I hadn’t come across EweMove, the contrast was night and day and Paul made the selling experience enjoyable.<br><br>Paul was knowledgeable, approachable and kept everything moving when it could easily have become stressful. I really appreciated his patience, communication and the way he conducted himself throughout the process.<br><br>A genuinely excellent estate agent and a real credit to the team. Thank you, Paul!

Picked up keys today and very happy with the purchase for the price I got it for - would 100% use them again for another purchase as they have a lot of good deals if you are looking to buy tenanted property.
