5th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)Lancasters continue to disappoint me. They don't respond to emails, and give fake promises over the phone. I have been nothing but patient and polite. But it's beyond ridiculous how they have treated me with such disregard as a tenant.<br><br>I made a report 6 months ago and absolutely has been done.<br>There are issues with damp and black mold, blocked plumbing, freezing draughts, leaking roof. Most of which has been reported as far back as 2024.<br><br>When I moved into the property they said it would be deep cleaned. It wasn’t. It took a full day of cleaning before moving our belongings because it was absolutely filthy.<br><br>After a few months I noticed many poorly done fixes to make the house appear rentable. Alot of things had just been left broken or unusable even though there was plenty of time for it to be fixed beforehand.<br><br>I'm extremely disappointed in Lancasters lack of service and professionalism.

28th May 2024 (2 years ago)They sent viewers who were not proceedable or unsuited to a shared/communal garden. We got feedback from viewers only after asking everytime.

Although Bridgfords weren’t acting as our agents, they were extremely helpful and professional throughout the process. Harry was fantastic in ensuring we had all the visits we needed to ensure we could make an informed decision. Chris and Steve were great in guiding us through the actual purchase. We have no hesitation recommending Bridgfords Disley.

The estate agent who viewed the property with us on two separate occasions was very helpful, friendly and offered lots of useful of advice with regards to the property and its features. They put at ease any of our concerns and were open to any questions and had lots of useful suggestions. Would highly recommend this agent for their excellent service, friendly and welcoming approach and knowledgable. We have found our perfect home with their help and are so happy, thank you so much

The communication and support I have received and continue to receive is very impressive so I do not feel I am alone as I go through this process. 2nd Nov 2018 (7 years ago)Been dealing with/working with Waltons for years from my time at the council and also running my own business. I have always found Martin and Kate to be very knowledgeable and refreshingly work very hard to promote 'betterment' for their business and their customers/clients also for the areas where they have properties. In my opinion, they are certainly the most reputable commercial agents in Tameside and very knowledgeable and experienced and speak common sense.

It’s been a long and stressful journey with lost buyers, delays in the chain, lots of changes along the way. They were great from the very start, but in particular Helen, from the initial photos right through to completion, she’s been brilliant. I’ve made endless phone calls and sent her hundreds of emails, and she was always happy to help, always answered, and always got back to me quickly. Without her the whole process could have been unbelievably stressful. Her support made such a difference. Would 100% recommend Moore Homes to anyone thinking of moving.
