16th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)I paid £213 to Greenfield for the holding deposit. The referencing failed. Instead of them refunding my money. They deducted £60 from my money. When I enquired The agent called Laurence said, they have deducted the cost of referencing from it.<br>I said what?? You didn't tell me from the onset. Moreover, I have not asked anyone to do referencing on my behalf, so why I'm I bearing the cost.<br>Is this extortion or what???

25th Nov 2025 (8 mo. ago)Christies did a lot of research to ensure the valuation was realistic and achievable - the marketing materials were excellent - the viewings process was straightforward, we always knew what has happening and when. As Christies have a few offices in the area our property had maximum buyer exposure which has resulted in a good offer that we have accepted within one month of launch. Thanks Perry and team.

She sent me details of two or three properties. She is enthusiastic and friendly and I thoroughly recommend her services to anyone who wants to be treated professionally and with respect.

The team kept in regular contact and never failed to pick up the phone for any queries we had making us feel supported every step of the way. Special thanks to Kirstie who assisted us on the search & purchase journey and to Shaun, the Director, for going above and beyond, helping us overcome many hurdles on the solicitor front! His expertise and proactive approach is truly appreciated. Thank you for helping us find our first home!
10th Aug 2026 (14 days ago)I booked a property viewing with the owner, but he never showed up. When I went to their office to follow up, he wasn't there, and the staff had no record of my booking. They promised to call me back but never did. I later discovered they were still advertising the property despite no longer having it on their books. By contrast, I booked a viewing for the exact same property through their competitors on the opposite side of the road and was inside seeing it within 20 minutes.This matches my past experiences with Connor Prince, where things also ended badly. If this agency messes up, do not expect an apology. The owner will simply cut you off cold and move on without a care. He is rude, arrogant, and entirely lacks empathy. They run this office like a corner shop family business with decor stuck in the '70s rather than a modern, professional 21st-century estate agency. I would not use them again if they were the last estate agents left on earth. Dreadful people.

This is the second property I’ve sold through this firm in recent years and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
3rd Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)Excellent estate agent.<br><br>They have recently sold my house in Shirley Park and I also brought my new home in Old Coulsdon. I can not fault them. I was lucky to find a buyer very quickly but as usual the buying process was slow, but all the way through Craig would regularly check in with me on both the purchase and sale.<br><br>I found everybody that worked there to be first class and very helpful.<br><br>I would definitely recommend them.<br><br>Thanks Craig and Lee, looking forward to having you back for a valuation once I’ve done all my planned works- 11th Aug 2026 (13 days ago)Reece at Centro was absolutely fantastic from day one. He really took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and, importantly, what mattered to me in finding the right home. I genuinely felt listened to throughout the whole process.<br><br>He was incredibly professional, always friendly and an absolute pleasure to deal with. His communication was exceptional, emails were answered incredibly quickly, nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and most importantly, he got things done.<br><br>Reece ultimately matched us with what genuinely feels like the perfect home, and I couldn’t be happier. The whole experience was so much easier and more seamless than I expected it to be.<br><br>A huge thank you to Reece and everyone at Centro for looking after us so well. From start to finish, the service was exceptional, and the sale of my flat was handled with professionalism, care, and genuine commitment. A special mention has to go to Nick, who truly went above and beyond at every stage of the process. He was proactive, responsive, and always willing to take the time to explain things clearly and keep me updated. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his dedication made what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and reassuring.

30th Jun 2023 (3 years ago)Cromwells were professional throughout but were affected by a slowing market due to increased interest rates. This meant that they were unable to get the number of anticipated viewings and were unable to sell my house. I took the decision to move agents to try and speed up a sale but Cromwells did get some viewings and their communication was good.

Cancelled appointments and numerous excuses throughout, it’s ironic that they sell themselves as a more bespoke and individual service when actually I felt the complete opposite. Josh was our agent and I wouldn’t recommend.

24th May 2026 (13 weeks ago)Kenyons in Carshalton is honestly the worst estate agent I have had to deal with. Having worked in estate agents for 4 years I believe that the treatment of an applicant vs a landlord is paramount and shows the true culture of the business. Being an applicant in a situation that was a little different then the norm ie we know the owner of the flat and it’s about to come on the market and we really wanted to rent it and had spoken to the owner, I popped in to chat to someone when in the shop and after explaining the situation and leaving my details I can only describe the feeling I got which was one being cut short and dismissed, then after that I called them and asked them about the flat as it was supposed to be on the market on a certain date and I had not seen is however when I called I experienced the same level of dismissal. People get into agency to work with people so if you treating people that way is shocking. How can you trust that they are finding the best people for your property with treatment like that. If I had been a landlord looking to rent my property the treatment of me would have been completely different because they would be making money off of me. Just bad business

18th Aug 2026 (6 days ago)After searching a long time for the perfect property, I contacted VC Estates to enquire about a house I had seen listed with them, they invited me into office within the hour to view not one but two properties they had listed, that matched our criteria. Within 24 hours of viewing the first property recommendation, David had our offer accepted. The communication with David, Alison and Ben has been amazing- It's very hard to come by such accommodating, genuine agents, who truly go above and beyond for their customers. If ever we come to sell our current purchase we would definitely choose VC Estates over any other estate agent.
